Darth Revan of the Sith
Name: On Her Majesty's Secret Service Director: Peter R. Hunt Year Released: 1969 Honestly one of the best Bond films I have seen ever. George Lazenby plays a completely different Bond than Sean Connery's interpretation. This film is the first and only Bond film directed by Peter R. Hunt, who seems more intent on being more faithful to the novel than brandishing the whole thing with gadgets and explosions. He instead focuses on the emotion in Bond rather than his sinister-suave formula. This Bond shows a completely different fashion style than Connery. Connery usually wears a nice Black tuxedo but Lazenby chose a more erratic form of clothing than his predecessor. We also get to see some extremely well done choreography, especially with the Ski fight. There is much more suspense and thrills in this one than in previous installments like Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, or You Only Live Twice. In my honest view, it isn't better than Sean Connery's films but it sure as hell stands out on its own as one of the best Bond films.
