Name: 10,000 BC
Directed By: Roland Emmerich
Year Released: 2008

Arguably one of the worst films of 2008 and one of the worst films of that decade. 10,000 BC is a film that hampers on its overplayed cast and its cliche storyline mixed in with a little rushed plot.

Its low budget graphics is what gets me the most. You would think Emmerich would do better than this heap of laziness. Having the main cast talk in English in my view was the worst thing he could have done. Has Mel Gibson taught us nothing? Having them talk in another language with subtitles would be much more productive. The film starts off with an extremely quick and obviously rushed beginning which then culminates its completely boring and slow middle culminating in a convoluted horrible end. As a fan of many of Emmerich's films I have to say this is one of the worst films I had ever laid my eyes on and it is a good thing Emmerich learned past his mistakes with Anonymous.

Discuss this absolute waste of my time.

Why am I the only person who likes this movie? If not for plot but the Cinematography, though I do agree, they shouldn't have spoken in any English aside from maybe the Narrator.

Dude, it's okay to like movies that aren't popular. Don't worry about it. I am a film critic and as a film critic I find no real reason to like this movie. Granted, I love Roland Emmerich, just not this movie. I have had my share of movies I found great while everybody else hated. I find Kristen Stewart to be an excellent actress but I am sure everyone else would disagree.

Well I find the movie to be alright but seeing as how I know a lot less about the people in the movie it can show its flaws and faults. The movie is very predictable except for when they deal with the animals in which case I just find that to be random.
As far as everyone else's opinion: I was ignorant of it until I saw your post, which kinda shocked me. Then again, why should my opinions be influenced by anyone else's? As far as that Kristen Stweart bit I agree with you actually.

I am quite the shocker.

You should have seen when I went up and gave Jonah Hex a 4/5. People on the forum I posted it went ballistic. I till maintain that that movie was excellent.
