YuYu, I've seen your posts in A&M and other places and pretty much got an idea of your tastes. I think you [i]personally[/i] would really like these animes:

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (a lot like DBZ)
Code Geass (a lot like Death Note, but also with awesome robot action)
Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
One Piece
Trigun

You will find plenty of badasses in these anime and you might be surprised to find these worming their way into your top anime.

A lot better, but watching over 564 episodes to finish it might be asking too much. I'd go with reading the manga for it, a lot faster that way.
