Darth Revan of the Sith
Directed by: Mel Gibson Released: 2004 Honestly this one of the best movies made of the decade between 2000 and 2010. Say what you want about Mel Gibson but one fact remains clear, this is directing done right. The thing about this movie is that, although it is extremely prejudiced against Jews, it is taken straight from the Bible itself. So no matter what people say about the movies prejudiced view, it is straight out of the bible so unfortunately you can't call it prejudiced without calling the Bible prejudiced which it was. The movie inspires intense visuals and violent suspense (Something Gibson is good at), it transcends language barriers in the Hollywood movie industry and has revolutionized movie's to this day. Breaking the way for movies like Genghis Khan and Apocalypto. Jim Caviezel puts on a hell of a part, playing Jesus in a way almost impossible for any other actor to match. Whatever the views the movie may have, as a person who unbiasedly critiques films, this is one of the best movies directed by Mel Gibson and one of the best religious movies in the past 30 years. I am agnostic and I don't know or care if God exists or not but I do know one thing, this movie was well directed, well cast, and well made altogether.
