Meet the Raw Shocks, a group of Fiend-Type monsters that may look weak but can easily give your Opponent the cold shoulder. They can discard themselves from your hand if you control one of their icy brethren, each effect tailored to tackling a different strategy or decktype used by your Opponent. While on the field, their effects focus on flipping monsters face-down then manipulating them.


[color=#ff8c00]Raw Shock - Diseased[/color]

Once per turn, while you control a face-up “Raw Shock” monster and our Opponent controls at least 3 more cards than you including at least 1 monster: You can reveal and discard this card in your hand and select 1 monster on the field; The selected monster's ATK becomes 900 and it cannot switch battle positions. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Raw Shock" monster in your graveyard: Select 1 face-up monster on the field; Flip the selected monster into face-down Defence Position. If this card targets a face-down Defence Position monster for an attack; Destroy the targeted monster (without applying Damage Calculation). You can only reveal and discard 1 “Raw Shock” monster per turn.

[u]Notes:[/u] If you don’t want to waste your valuable monsters in destroying a monster, you can simply use Raw Shock Diseased and bring those pesky problems down to your level. If that doesn’t work or you simply want to opt for freezing your Opponent's monsters, this monster can act as a walking Book of Moon.

Once per turn, while you control a face-up “Raw Shock” monster and your Opponent controls a face-up Xyz monster: You can reveal and discard this card from your hand and select 1 Xyz Monster on the field ; Detach Xyz Materials from the selected monster equal to the number of face-down monsters on the field then reduce its ATK equal to the amount of detached Xyz Materials x 500. If the selected monster becomes 2000 or less through this effect; Flip the selected monster into face-down Defence Position instead. Once per turn: You can select 1 card you control and 1 face-down card your Opponent controls; Switch control of the selected cards. The Set card cannot be activated or flipped this turn. If this card targets a face-down Defence Position monster for an attack; Destroy the targeted monster (without applying Damage Calculation). You can only reveal and discard 1 “Raw Shock” monster per turn.

[u]Notes:[/u] Xyz Monsters beware! This monster will strip them of their power and can even flip them down if the frost is too much for them. Creature Swap is great and all but what about the hidden resources of the face-down card. This monster allows you to swap a card you control for one of their Set monsters or a sneaky Solemn Warning. Whether providing fuel for effects or just taking as it pleases, this creature is a welcome addition to the Raw Shock barracks.

Once per turn, while you control a face-up “Raw Shock” monster and your Opponent controls 3 or more Spell/Trap cards: You can reveal and discard this card from your hand to select up to 2 Spell/Trap cards on the field; Those cards cannot be activated while this card is in the graveyard. Once per turn: You can banish 1 monster in your graveyard or hand: Flip all face-down monsters on your Opponent’s side of the field into face-up Attack Position (Flip effects are not activated) then discard cards from your Opponent's hand equal to the number of monsters flipped face-up by this effect. If this card targets a face down Defence Position monster for an attack; Destroy the targeted monster (without applying Damage Calculation). You can only reveal and discard 1 “Raw Shock” monster per turn.

[u]Notes:[/u] This card will put your Opponent’s Spells and Traps on ice, allowing the rest of your Raw Shock horde to conduct their plans more easily. His secondary effect is very useful for hand control and is one of the few effects of the Raw Shocks that can use monsters from your hand as well as your grave, making it useful against Decks that can banish your valuable monsters from the grave.


[color=#ff8c00]Raw Shock – Sexualized

Once per turn, while you control a face-up “Raw Shock” monster and your Opponent has 5 or more cards in their hands: You can discard this card from your hand: Select 1 card in either player’s graveyard; Add the selected card to your hand. If you activate the selected card: You take 3000 damage. Once per turn: You can select up to 3 banished “Raw Shock” monsters; Shuffle the selected monsters into your Deck and draw cards equal to the number of monsters returned -1. If this card targets a Defence Position monster for an attack; Destroy the targeted monster (without applying Damage Calculation). You can only reveal and discard 1 “Raw Shock” monster per turn.

[u]Notes: [/u]Acts as a pseudo Pot of Avarice for banished monsters. It’s Graverobber-esque effect can be very useful but only if you have the lifeforce to do so.


[color=#008000]I-cy You
[Normal Spell][/color]
Activate only while you control exactly 1 face-up “Raw Shock” monster. Add 1 “Raw Shock” monster from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Summon the added card this turn. If this card is in your graveyard during your End Phase and your Opponent controls 3 or more face-down monsters: You can send 1 card you control to the graveyard; Add this card to your hand from the graveyard.

[u]Notes:[/u] This card is the main Spell in a Raw Shock deck, using their slow Summoning speed to call up the perfect Raw Shock for any occasion. Pesky Xyz? Grab a Raw Shock – Abstract and get rid of that pest. Valuable card in your opponent’s graveyard? Get a Raw Shock – Sexualized to do some cemetery robbing. This card is also recyclable, allowing multiple plays for the perfect monster every time. You can even use the card you stole with the effect of Raw Shock – Abstract to speed up the process.


[color=#008000]Eternal Freeze
[Continuous Spell][/color]
Each time a “Raw Shock” monster activates it’s effect; Place 1 Chill Counter on this card. While this card has 3 or more Chill Counters, this card cannot be destroyed. If a “Raw Shock” monster would be banished for the cost of an effect you control: You can remove 2 Chill Counters from this card instead. If this card is destroyed while it has Chill Counters on it: You can add 1 “Raw Shock” monster from your graveyard to your hand for every 2 Chill Counters that were on this card.

[u]Notes:[/u] A Six Samurai United without the Six Samurai and without the uber broken draw power. It does have destruction immunity at certain points but it’s main use is to help with those annoying costs of constantly banishing monsters. It’ll even recycle a few Raw Shocks when it is destroyed, allowing for the hypothermia to begin anew.
