Just a unique idea I've been trying to work with using some somewhat-interesting elements. Let me know what you think; might add more.

Right now I just tried to get the basics down, with a somewhat cool boss monster and some decent support cards. Tried to maintain consistency as well while also giving them some boosts because having to wait a turn to use any of the effects (especially in a format as fast as this one) can definitely pose a problem.

The ability to revive without worry of being negated, say by Solemn Warning/Fossil Dyna was the best way I could think of to make them relevant, or to at least stand a chance. That also means Pot of Duality works well in maximizing consistency.

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. When this card is Normal Summoned: Destroy it. During the End Phase of the turn you do: Special Summon it. Then, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Shattered" monster from your Deck (except "Shattered Chimera") and treat it as though it were Summoned by its own effect. (The Special Summon of this card cannot be negated and can activate, ignoring any active effects or conditions.)

When this card is Special Summoned (by its own effect): Target any number of "Shattered" monster from your Graveyard; attach those target(s) to this card as Xyz Material. If this card would be destroyed by your opponent's card: You can detach 1 Xyz Material instead.

Equip only to a "Shattered" monster. It gains 800 ATK. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card, then destroy this card. During the End Phase of the turn you do: You can add 1 "Crystalline Cannon" from your Deck to your hand.

Field Spell Card
All "Shattered" monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, when a "Shattered" monster is Special Summoned by its own effect: You can add 1 "Shattered" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is removed from the field: Destroy all "Shattered" monsters you control.

[b]Into the Melting Pot[/b]
Normal Trap Card
Tribute 1 EARTH Rock-Type monster you control: Special Summon 1 non-EARTH Rock-Type monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect: Shuffle 1 Rock-Type monster from your Graveyard into your Deck and draw 1 card.
