Fusion X. Denver
Code: Breaker The thing that bugs me the most about this series is it could have been a lot better than it actually was. It had the premise, a decent cast of characters, the power variety, but it wasn't handled well. A lot of characters behave inconsistently, and I find that the series is trying to be dark and edgy at some points, but it doesn't do it right. All of what I said applies to the manga. The anime...I don't see many people enjoying it if you haven't read the manga. A lot of the characters are just there because the ultimate purpose behind the anime was to advertise the manga, leaving a 13-episode story with several plot threads left hanging and characters with little to no depth. Some of the action was cool though, I particularly liked seeing Ouji vs Yukihina. But yeah, I wouldn't bother watching this unless you've read the manga. And I'll only recommend the manga if you need something somewhat decent to kill time with. 2.5/5
Blust! Quirky cyborg protagonist that fights and flies effectively with arm thrusters while using curry as an energy source. Nice decent read, I would've given it a chance to try out as a series. 3.5/5 Donten Prism Solar Car This manga made me realize just how much I love Murata's character models. But yeah, decent quick read and character work overall. 4/5 Heroes of Fury Done by the same team behind One-Punch Man, this one-shot reeked of hilarity and was drawn superbly. Potentially my favorite one-shot, or at least definitely up there. 4.5/5 Madofuki Park The main guy reminds me of Naruto a bit with the way he jumps all over the place with a happy-go-lucky attitude whilst secretly carrying a burden on his back. The future city looked cool and props for coming up with the premise of a window washer in the year 2050. 4/5 Minds Decent quick read (pretty much sums up all of Murata's one-shots), though uh...honestly not much else to say, can't remember anything specific. 3.5/5
Nicο
So Ra No Wo To At this point (wait, what am I saying, I finished it) I find it to be similar, but clearly different to K-on! Well, I did see an image comparing the two, but this gave me several more feels and K-on was a whole lot funnier. It's all just incredibly nice, and very pretty.4/5 Just gonna edit for this for some reason: Kingdom I must admit, the cg was really bad at first, and a 50 minute first episode didn't help much either, but it became respectable with a pretty good story as it went on, and the cg got at least less noticeably bad. I'm gonna be as honest as I can here, I just can't wait for the second season in summer, I hope it doesn't downgrade to how bad the beginning was. If it doesn't, it should bump up my overall rating for this series. 3/
Fusion X. Denver
Redline It is 2 in the morning, but I am so fucking pumped right now. Haven't felt this hyped up since Gurren Lagann, and that is saying something. Sure, some things made no flipping sense at some points and some characters could have benefitted from a little more development, but nobody gives a shit because this movie is one of the best examples of how to cruise with the Rule of Cool. And my god, that animation. I know Madhouse is pretty stylish and slick overall, but not this stylish and slick. Not even gonna joke right now; I think Redline has the best, or at the very least, my favorite animation and art style of any anime I've seen to date. Thanks for the ride Redline, it was a thrill.4.5/
Nicο
Allison & Lillia What can I say... this is still pretty fantastical, but the action is nowhere near as over the top as most other anime, I'd say. Though that could just be because it is very different, but I really like it. Sure, like a lot of other things, it pulls out something last episode like the masterminds behind the plan that took place during the last few episodes (well, we get to know who one of them is after seeing them the episode before), but I'm not going to say it doesn't really make sense. At first I was exhausted from the awesome, but then I was quickly able to marathon it (a few times I guess, the number of episodes I could watch at a time, could have honestly marathoned the last 24 episodes after the first 2, given the opportunity) it remains a decent watch that's for sure, and it's definitely better than the first 2 episodes lead me to believe. Which was still very decent. It really makes me get the feeling that it knows about the real world, despite the world it takes place in being entirely fictional, but like I said, it is pretty out there at times (mostly the important times, but by out there, I can not mean it in a bad way). 4.5/
Fusion X. Denver
Ninja Scroll Eh, it was okay. The most redeeming aspect of this movie was the action and for its time, it was animated very well. But the story became really muddled for me and I lost interest up until the final climax. I'd only recommend this if you're looking for some action fluff to kill time, don't go expecting too much.3/5Highschool of the Dead Wow, I heard the stories, but I didn't realize how ridiculous the anime was about its fanservice presentation. There's something to gawk at every minute and it's all so raunchy. Well, I still enjoyed myself and I'm looking forward to the manga's return, though I think my character standards have changed from two years ago. No idea why I "loved" Rei and Takagi, though Rei got a little better.3.5/
Nicο
Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They? This is definitely Dog Days. This is Dog Days with a much better plot, even if Dog Days was better when it didn't try to have one. I'm not trying to say it was mindblowingly awesome, but it was a decent plot even if I can't say it's very original. Which I don't even care about in the first place, all I care about is that I enjoyed it. Not to mention, it was really fun knowing that Izayoi at least tied once while still being awesome the whole time, compared to say... anyone as boring as Akatsuki of Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero. Though tbh that's not the only thing I dislike about him, even though you technically could say the 2 of them are similar in a way, and I really like Izayoi. Worth checking out just cause of Black Rabbit's seiyuu (though you'd have to be biased towards her voice like me), pretty enjoyable, but not that memorable. Possibly good to kill time since it's one of those 10 episode things, though I'm disappointed that anything that I've came across with only 10 episodes, I've come to like. 3.5/5 Well, no reason for me to not say something about more things Student Council's Discretion Level 2 I may have found near every joke absolutely hilarious, but there is no way that should happen for most people. I still think it would be pretty funny for a lot of people, though. And considering uh, him, why do I find Sugisaki to be such an admirable decent awesome guy? Some things he says just puts a smile on my face. No, I don't mean when it's supposed to be funny. EDIT: I just realized that since I'm mostly just going to be rating things based on my own enjoyment, this deserves at least a 4. 4/5 Encouragement of Climb I do normally think of things with such short episodes to be comedy, cause I mean, what else can you do? But this is surprisingly a very well made non-comedy, really nice slice of life short. 3/5 Girls und Panzer: Little Army Like most prequels/sequels/spin-offs, I wouldn't advise reading unless you took some interest in the original thing. The original thing may have started airing after this manga started, but that is because this is a prequel. No real order you have to follow though. I'd like a 2 or 3 episode OVA of this though, since it would make the anime stand on it's own a tiny bit better. By a tiny bit, I mean it honestly stands on it's own marvelously well and there really is no need, but it would be nice. 3.5/
Fusion X. Denver
Psycho Pass This series was a pretty good thrill ride. It gives you a lot to mull over throughout the show and the villain is one of the better antagonists that I've seen in a while. As a whole, Psycho Pass is pretty dark, both in its themes, action, and literally; I actually had to brighten up my screen sometimes to tell what was going on. The ending left some room for a 2nd season, though sales aren't too indicative of the possibility, but here's hoping. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes dark stuff or is a fan of thrillers in general. 4/5 From the New World This just broke into my Top 10. Very immersive story and it handles just about everything nicely. Even though there isn't a lot of emotional diversity given its societal circumstances, it's easy to overlook because you're engaged into what's going on and everyone serves their purpose to hold it all together nicely. Sometimes animation's great, other times it was meh, but I've never been a stickler about that. I do wish characters' face showed more diversity though. And this is one of those few animes where I felt mystified by its soundtrack. Overall, definitely an awesome plot and awesome watch. One of the best titles of 2012. 5/
Nicο
From the New World ... Dang. Well that cleared up practically any questions I would have had. This has never scared me, but I do find a lot of those creatures pretty freaky looking. Not my usual anime, so helps that it is seemingly completely engrossing. Was never put off by it at all, strangely enough, so definitely my favorite anime that is unlike anything I would normally watch. It's almost unlike anything I have even watched at all, tbh. You can really tell it's from a novel. Not a light novel either, a novel.5/5Robotics;Notes "This epilogue is so wonderful it makes me cry." Funny, the first time I bothered to read the lyrics and it was the ending. That made me cry. Anyways, yeah, I'm only giving this a 5 because it made my... top 2. I'm unsure yet if it's that or my 3rd favorite, but I will be soon. As in when the rest of this season ends. ... I can also probably call this mecha now, even if it actually isn't. It's always good when you find almost all the characters just. that. great. That you can't even choose a favorite. Frau... way to make a completely epic ending also completely hilarious with the way you talk.
Kou Kimijima, I think it makes sense this way. There really is no room for emotion in an AI, huh. Kai deleted Kill Ballad! *gasp* I don't believe it. That symbolizes things pretty great though.
I must say that I really enjoyed the pace of the first half, and then how the second got all serious. All in all, I guess this just means I'm a sucker for visual novel adaptions.5/
Fusion X. Denver
I'm not sure what to think of Robotics;Notes. People on another site are saying it's terrible, but people here are saying it's great. I guess I'll check it out for myself at some point, but I don't know how high on the priority list it should be.
King of Games
I'd compare Robotics;Notes to TTGL. It may seem stupid, but it has passion. Made me feel for the characters, when they were crushed, i was crushed and when their hard work pays off I'm pumping my fists in the air in triumph. Some cool music tracks might contribute to that. It was awesome to see "Realistic" Giant Robots take shape and then take action, and the Augmented Reality was a really interesting concept. Also had nice Steins;Gate references, like Mr Braun's daughter all grown up. Not the same world line as S;G but one possible future. It's a slow burn of a show, but then again so was Steins;Gate. The villain was a bit like Kayaba from SAO actually. Paper thin motivations but moved the plot along and was just the kind of bad guy a story about Giant Robots of Justice needed. I dont know what anybody else thinks of her, but Aki was my favourite character. Making mecha anime references and being all passionate about robots and sh*t. She's great. #IF***kingLoveGiantRobots/

So try it out and see what you feel. Yeah, I'm trying it out now. Was the last thing I was interested in of fall 2012 anyway. EDIT: Spoilers since there are so many now in one post because I can no longer say I'm not more into modern anime.
I could only just find this watchable. Even if you like fan service shows, I don't think it's worth the watch. What I can say, is that as far as the dark shinobi's pasts go, some of them are kind of sad, but completely awkward, and some of them there is no real way to care for them because it's really not motivational enough. Just watchable meaning I don't have much of a dislike towards it, but there are many bad things that make it overall neutral for me.2.5/5

As far as Japan is concerned, this was actually... the best anime of fall 2012? It's certainly not the best thing in the world, the character interactions needed to be taken care of a little better imo, but it's nowhere near the worst. If I had to compare it to anything, I would have to say that it's 1000x better than Upotte!! due to no pantyshots, better characters and story overall, and that the battles are a lot more entertaining. I had to compare them, I've seen it happen a lot, and I'm in agreement with the lot. Suddenly reminded of Little Army, wouldn't have happened if they were somehow able to put out this much quality when it was actually supposed to air.

This should definitely be seeing a season 2.4.5/5

I have nothing against amnesia, but when something calls itself that... 'nuff said. I will say I was somehow very intrigued by this, though.2.5/5

You know, I first decided to watch this only because it's animation was far superior to Little Busters! I liked LB's art more than this, but by the end, not by much. Something like this must really be J.C. Staff's strong point. I mean, just look at Toradora! Sometimes this can really be a hit in the face, because it really is realistic, in a way. I felt like crying for the more emotional second last episode, and the last one gives more closure, even though it's technically open ended (with the new dorm members and all that). So if the light novel still has more material, I would love to see a second season. Didn't have the rough last few episodes (that I watched so far) that LB had, but I'll need to actually see it's end, which hasn't even happened yet. 5/5

The one anime that can always remain entertaining, despite the ridiculous amount of dialogue. In fact, I'd dare say that's what makes it great. It's good for some decent action too, but that really pales in comparison to these people talking. Potentially not worth it if you really dislike that sort of thing, but I'd try it out anyway. Well, I didn't actually hear of The Tempest until now, but it seems like Mahiro hasn't heard of it until it was first brought up, so all good? 4.5/5

I've honestly loved every single thing by Kyoani I've watched before this, so in comes the bias. I would have liked them to do one or the other, go complete fantasy island on us, or just make another normal slice of life. In the end, besides the first episode, this can stand on it's own pretty well without the bird. I haven't touched whatever it was that Kyoani made that was original before this, but it just didn't have that great first episode feel. They really don't seem to have a knack for making great anime originals yet though, imo, but I think this was potentially close. 3.5/5

With my tastes, I can honestly say that I enjoyed this a lot more than I have been enjoying Shippuuden, but I can't exactly say it's better than part 1. It was obviously a children's anime, and I clearly guessed the episode number correctly, but I would have so been down for more. This surely gave me something to laugh at multiple times every episode, so as you can see, it's pretty much done it's job for me. 4/5

Sure, the first few episodes are a smack in the face drama wise, and sure, it wouldn't be wrong to say that episode 4 felt like a last episode, but I'm not really getting what people are saying when they say it becomes more light hearted. Wasn't it already just as light hearted, just mixed in with the insanely good drama? The drama doesn't ever completely let up either, except for the expected 1 or 2 episodes. All in all, great show, it's just one of the few things where I actually have to complain about the art. 4/5

And I like how characters avoid typical cliches of misunderstanding that are obvious to everyone watching but not to them, they actually think logically and come to realistic conclusions and work off of those. And this is one of those animes that you'll never really be bored with, even with all the dialogue. I wish we got more action scenes, but the ones that were there were done well. The actual plot was pretty decent; it might seem more cohesive if you marathon through it, but still, overall a great job and universal appeal. 4/5 Tamako Market This was alright, though it does have K-ON syndrome and for some people, that can be a big turn-off. I'd hate to marathon this, but for weekly doses, it kept me entertained with light-hearted fluff and pretty animation, exactly what KyoAni excels at. I think I liked Kanna the most for her dry and well-timed humor in reaction to other characters. Overall, it was okay. 3/5 Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals I'd say the manga's better in terms of quality, but this anime was still fun to watch every week. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a Narutard, but I'd say this is one of the better comedies I've seen in a while (though keep in mind I love slapstick humor). And this anime actually got me to appreciate Tenten more, which I previously thought impossible. 4/5 Kotoura-san Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but I feel like it could have been a lot better if they kept up their writing and storytelling from the first few episodes. And the last arc doesn't feel like it was handled well at all. Regardless, the characters all have their own charm and they're fun to watch (though you've seen them all before, to be frank) with more hits than misses in regards to humor (though they tend to over-rely on making Manabe out to be a pervert). Give it a shot if you're in the mood for its genre. 3.5/5

Polar Bear Café I've never really watched a children's anime before (I guess you can count Rock Lee, though that also caters to Naruto fans...who aren't just 12 year-olds you know), so it was interesting to see something by Japan that wasn't perverted, crude, bloody, or any other "vices" taboo to American cartoons. It was a lighthearted show with an upbeat mood and funny interactions between the characters. You really grow to like most of the cast, even Panda who I hated when I first met him, but I grew used to him and ended up getting a crack out of him as well. There's no way I could recommend this to someone to marathon unless they watch like 1-2 episodes a day, this is best taken in small doses. It's been a fun year and I'll miss this show. 4/5 Maoyuu Maou Yuusha It's weird, there isn't anything particularly memorable about this show, but it was interesting to see events play out and how the society developed over time. This show's like watching a history lesson come to life, and I thought that was kinda cool. I've heard a lot of comparisons between this and Spice and Wolf with the latter being better. But this is still worth a watch and definitely one of the better time-killers out there. If you don't have any interest in economics though, pass it up. 3.5/5 Inferno Cop What the f*ck did I watch, what were the writers/animators on, and can I have some too please? 3/5 Plastic Nee-san Heh, that was pretty decent comedy. All the episodes add up to an OVA's length, give it a watch if you're hankering for a laugh. 3.5/5
Now I understand why people say spring's the season of goodbyes. Anyway, Kanna's my favorite too. "That was supposed to be a joke." xD
Minami-ke Tadaima Maybe something with only nothing special going on is exactly what I needed to watch to enjoy such a weak season. This is definitely my favorite of the winter season, and has long since solidified itself as a solid series, now having 4 seasons, of which I can rightfully say this was the second best, losing only to the first season (which isn't only the best because it's the first one). It's not even necessary to watch the previous seasons, although I can say it would help. There's surely an original character or two, of which I can say Hosaka easily takes the cake, and whenever he's shown at the end or near the end, he's always so epic in his own way. Love his singing. Anyways, largely nothing new, even some things that were adapted in previous seasons, but this season does it so much better and is probably a better show than quite a few other things that are just slice of life comedies. Then again, I might only be thinking that way because I enjoyed it and it's actually gotten 4 seasons, compared to almost anything.4.5/5GJ-bu I'm honestly so sad to see this end. It sure doesn't bring anything new to the table, but I was really interested in an adaption of a so called "4koma light novel" and I can tell it wasn't adapted from a manga. It is very close to the way 4komas turn out, though, and I'm glad it was pulled off to get such enjoyment out of it. I get many vibes from it though, an Acchi Kocchi vibe, a Seitokai no Ichizon vibe, as well as a K-on vibe, and I'm just worried it was trying to do too many things at once. If you've liked any ofthose though, I would recommend cautiously going into this if you decide to try it, because of what I have already mentioned. Still, it hit all the right notes with me, and I'd be excited to see more anime adaptions of 4koma light novels, if this starts a trend, despite not being likely.3.5/5OreShura (eh, don't really care enough to write out the whole name) As far as harems go, this is definitely worth a shot if you actually enjoy cliches. Sometimes this gets painfully generic, but hey, this anime was done very well. I hear it's light novel is one of the best sellers of it's kind, too. The thing is though, I'm almost positive being so ginormously cliche is not the way to go. I enjoyed it, but in the end, the only thing saving it was the JoJo references.2.5/5

AKB0048 Next Stage I'm really glad this got a second season. I personally did not enjoy it as much as the first, but it was a blast. Idols and mecha... apparently not original, but great as a first exposure. CG seems to get better over time, this included, but I'd still say this is bad in that aspect. 3.5/5 Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: The Movie 2nd A's I had to wonder at first, would this have enough time to let me be content with it? But like the first movie, better visuals (what with it being a movie and all), some really nice additions, and anything that was taken out was bad or not all that needed for the most part, so I can't complain. This is perfect as far as recap movies go, so it honestly just depends on whether or not Nanoha is your thing. Looking forward to the third movie, and thank god they're not making StrikerS into only one movie... yet. Though tbh I'd rather they just not, so lets hope the won't 5/5 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) At first I only watched this so I could tell what would be going on with the JoJo references in OreShura, but there are several things wrong with that. 1. OreShura is purely average if anything 2. JoJo is pure gold. 3. Some references went past parts 1 and 2. Now, I did have to adjust myself to the art since I'm more used to modern anime, but now JoJo is exactly that. This has truly stood the tests of time and it just seems impossible for them not to animate part 3 onward, especially with that teaser at the end. If this got me sucked into it when OreShura sounds more my thing, someone who adores hotblooded shounen will have a ball with this. Out of any of the characters from parts 1-2, I'd have to say Joseph is my favorite. I'm a sucker for comedy and he's just that awesome. Some nice villains here, I just can't ever bring myself to like Dio, they did such a good job with Dio's hatability. 5/5
Rozen Maiden I don't think the 2 that love this actually bother to check this thread out, but I feel the need to share my thoughts on this especially, before I watch season 2. Decent shounen/seinen, but honestly, what actually happened isn't anything I haven't seen before. It could just be the anime's fault it's not that good, though. Peach Pit... Shugo Chara is a great magical girl show, one of my favorites, but... I see this was a seinen manga, but there isn't much stopping me from thinking this is a shoujo. Now, I have a thing with antagonists, that if they aren't redeemable in the slightest, and are just so wicked and hate-able, I can't actually like them. This goes for Suigintou. If she shows up in season 2, I hope she's more redeemable, I really do. I also have this thing where if you try to redeem someone just in the last episode, I usually just can't feel for them. This is one of those times, but I guess once again, someone I was able to hate enough to add to my list of well done villains, and will stay there even if I do feel she's more redeemable later one. 3/
Fusion X. Denver
Whoever's reading this, drop what you're doing and see Steins;Gate if you haven't already. This was a masterpiece. Just absolutely fantastic to watch.I spent most of my day plowing through the second half, I could not tear myself away from my laptop to go get lunch or even shower until around episode 20, it was that engaging. Its story was top-notch
them never explaining why or how Okabe had the Reading Steiner
the rest of the story more than makes up for it.Every character serves their purpose and just about everyone has depth to them. Even seemingly copy/paste characters like Mayuri or Fayris actually become interesting and you give a damn for them because you are able to empathize with them. Sure, you should be able to do that for most good titles in a season, but to grab that feeling and apply that for the entire cast is how you do it right. And I owe thanks to the people who encouraged me to watch the sub. The seiyuu's performances are stupendous; they actually make me believe and feel the pain, joy, or whatever emotion they're conveying. Maybe it's because I'm more drawn to dubs and simply haven't seen many of the same caliber, but this voice cast blew me away. This anime even balanced its lighthearted and serious tones well. I never felt it was that abrupt a transition when it switched back and forth and both aspects were handled beautifully. I had quite a few chuckles on Okabe's antics and Engrish and the rest of the cast's interaction with him and each other. And of course Kurisu makes the perfect foil for him. Hell, I didn't think I'd find another tsundere I'd like aside from Taiga, but I finally found another one. And unlike most conventional female leads, this girl was likable, useful, and she freaking referenced memes, that's awesome!Even if the animation wasn't particularly outstanding, it was very good enough and character expressions were done well. Top it all off with a fitting OST and you have yourself one of the most solid anime you've seen in a while.Awesome story, awesome cast, awesome everything else, awesome, awesome time. I wholeheartedly recommend this to just about anyone looking for a good watch. I will be surprised if this anime doesn't manage to warm its way into at least your top 10. It made my Top 3.5/

It's a J Michael Tatum Passion project with him Writing/Directing/Voicing the lead of the thing. I can think of a few more flaws but that doesnt diminish my enjoyment of the show

Whenever I get around to rewatching this, it'll probably be the dub to get the best of both worlds (totally not Hannah Montana reference).
Nicο
Little Busters! I know I'm the only one who despite not really having played/read the visual novel, was able to laugh so hard at all that forced humor, but well, not sure what exactly I can say about that. For anybody that stopped watching because of how bad the animation was, it got expectantly better. Especially during the last three episodes. Kud's arc was the only one I couldn't exactly get behind, but the end of it was kind of nice, followed by one of the greatest episodes, the puppet show. I really do love all the characters, but the 4koma really helped in that regard for me since I love to laugh. So they're not exactly all that, but Riki x Kyousuke 4life. Clearly not as good as other Key adaptions, and by that, I mean the ones animated by Kyoani, which really helped the animation big time. This is still a decent watch for fans of the VN, fans of VNs in general, and probably most fans of other Key anime adaptions. This just works so well for me because I love to see the best of bonds, the best friends ever, and their everyday life/Key melodrama. Though, the best of Little Busters has apparently not happened yet, and there's thankfully a second season green-lit.4/5Ixion Saga DT Dirty humor is pretty much what this is. Despite that, that combined with whatever other humor there is makes it still pretty decent. It's one of my personal favorite action/adventure things due to it getting it's absolutely only sense of decency by never taking itself seriously, otherwise being unwatchably cliche. Definitely not everybody's taste in humor though, but almost everything works for me so long as it's done in a decent enough way.3.5/5Rozen Maiden : Träumend I've gotta say, it's been a great improvement over the first season. At least the battles in the Alice Game were enjoyable, and episodes 9-12 were pretty much something that was actually able to alleviate my bordom, while actually being really good. I suppose I forgot to mention how great the music really is, I really hope it's much of the same when the summer anime comes around. Still got Ouvertüre to watch though. In all honesty, I can't say it warrants much of a change in the score I gave.3.5/5Love Live! School Idol Project Remind me to at least try Idolmaster. I mean I seem to have a love for idol anime, but this one kind of blew the rest out of the water. It must be because it's more slice of life oriented, though. Others have other things to offer, but this is plain and simple for the greater part, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. It's not as if they don't have an important goal they strive towards, but it doesn't actually have the SoL genre for no reason.4.5/5Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic Eh, it was okay. The Balbadd arc had to be the best, and boy was it something, but with what was apparently an anime only ending, despite going on to make a second season just next fall, it's not really going in a good direction. I mean it was a very enjoyable end, imo, but well, I gotta hope they don't mess it up.3/5Sasami-san@Ganbaranai While this managed to be entertaining enough to finish, I do dislike quite a bit of things about this. Not to mention, the ending was just plain stupid. While Sasami and her brother haven't actually done anything with each other, it seems as if her family already was incestuous before her, and when they actually do get a little older, I find it hard to believe they wouldn't go down that route themselves. That is my main problem with it, the other mostly being how Sasami's brother's face never gets shown. That's not comedic, that's called trying to be stupid for no reason. I did like most of the characters though, and like I said, it was very entertaining if I ended up finishing something that shoved the incest undertones through the roof. I actually can't give this even the half way mark.2/5
Johan Liebert
1. Sword Art Online- I will say so many people underrate this anime. Sure, Kirito isn't the best protagonist, and the pacing isn't great, but this is my #1 anime nonetheless. I have never seen an anime that is perfect, or seen an anime to beat my previous #1, Yu Yu Hakusho. Although it isn't perfect like every other anime, it still beat Yu Yu Hakusho in almost every aspect. I was almost going to tie Yu Yu Hakusho and Sword Art Online, but Sword Art Online barely got #1 on my list. This anime gave me so many goose bumps, in a good way, from its intensely badass fighting scenes, plot twists, romance (somewhat), and historical ending. 9.9/
