Legend Zero
I'll list a few, in no order of their appearances: Math, Jig-saw, Tag, Mazes, Logic, Jenga, Racing Puzzle, and a whole bunch of others that I cannot classify. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and the puzzles (obviously), but I do hold it in high regards and encourage others to try it out.
Nicο
Tari Tari There isn't too much that needs to be said, I'll just say that I completely agree with Fusion on this one. K-On!! Never actually got boring to me, so I'm glad that I actually finished this now. The characters are a whole lot more memorable that most for me, and it was all as funny as the first season with added... drama? Well, whatever it is that truly made me feel sad at parts... I'll be watching the movie later today. Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai. Yet another anime that for some reason, I don't have much to say about. This was just watchable, most episodes I have to admit were not very different from each other, other than trying to pretend there was something different enough, though I guess it was only made to do the one thing I'm assuming it is actually any good at, because I did find it good, ecchi. Still, I found Ryosuke to be interesting, he is perverted and nice. Futari wa Precure Oh, the sequel was announced at the end. :D I already know that, but since I finished this season, this really does have more action, and more bearable action than most magical girl shows. Still, when it comes down to it, the only thing that matters is that one attack that they even got an upgrade to, much like others I've seen. You could say that most of a lot of magical girl anime are filler, since these are the 40+ episode ones I'm talking about, but that is all right with me, especially since they were all interesting to me. Though I doubt most other people would feel the same way unless the are little girls who are within the actual first demographic (not the secondary, which is adult males for action/yuri subtext) as I don't think they'd know what filler is (I didn't when I was that young). Campione I don't have much to say about this anime, just that it had decent action and cool powersets, though the characters weren't really interesting, save for Liliana. And the whole kissing stuff prevented me from taking the anime seriously, I'm sorry. However, it was still a decent time-killer. Shradow
I honestly don't think I could put my emotions into words, but here we go. This anime was incredibly good while also being incredibly heartwrenching. Things really hit you hard in Episode 3 with Mami's death, then it kept happening again and again when you learned more about Magical Girls, Witches, Sayaka and Kyoko's deaths, and the whole time travel business with Homura. In the ending when Madoka made her wish and became the embodiment of hope, seeing her transcend to another plane of existence with no one remembering her made things really sad. It was happy and bittersweet and I cried. TT^TT

Fusion X. Denver
Madoka becoming a God and being forgotten WAS pretty sad. I'm usually a sensitive guy when it comes to these things too, but I think the ending had a bit of a lesser impact on me than it did on others because I watched it in pieces each time a dubbed DVD came out, so by the time I watched the last 4, I forgot some things or had to spend time getting back into the mojo.
Legend Zero
Dog Days' An anime with a plot as non-existent as I've ever seen, but it works for this type of "feel good" anime. Character development was better this season and the new characters introduce didn't crowd out others. The only thing I would've liked would be more action, or more meaningful action. Its not the best anime by far, but its good at what it does. It must be, the ending gave a strong hint at a season 3. Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere 2 Not as difficult to follow as its predecessor, but there are moments. Comedy and action are still done well and this time they gave several sub-plots for minor characters, giving them back story and awesome moments. Still just a meh anime, I give it an average rating. Fusion X. Denver
Fullmetal Alchemist I gotta say, Bones did one hell of a job adapting a work that was nowhere near finished yet to the extent where people can even begin comparing its quality to the original storyline. I want to say the story's just as good as Brotherhood's; though it's hard to say which is better because frankly, they just go on different paths from each other. Whichever's better is up to one's personal preference, IMO. I think some characters may have had better development in this anime, but the other anime took its characters and stories to a greater extent while also fleshing out good characters that didn't make the cut for this adaption. Overall, I think I like Brotherhood more, mainly because I'm a sucker for happy endings, but both are top-notch quality animes. Time for Shamballa! Nicο
Pokemon the Movie: White - Victini and Zekrom First of all, I love all Pokemon movies, but there isn't much to say about this one. What I do have to say if that I liked it a lot, but having 2 almost identical MOVIES does not seem worth it. I checked out some of the other one, The main differences I could see were: - Which side Reshiram and Zekrom were on. - Which Pokemon out of Hydreigon and Golurk were shiny. - Which Pokemon out of Gothitelle and Reuniclus Damon used. - Which side Ash went up to save Victini. I just don't see why they made 2 MOVIES so similar.

Fusion X. Denver
Summer Wars This movie was an awesome watch. It had beautiful animation inside the world of Oz, a wacky cast of characters that feels like a real, loving family, and lots of suspense interspersed between fluid action, CARD GAMES IN CYBERSPACE, and the most intense math problem solving I've ever seen. Shradow
Yu Yu Hakusho Well, I just finished rewatching it, and it's as good as I remember. You gotta love the action, and it's got great emotions and humor as well. My favorite part by far, though, is the writing, and it's one of the few animes I've seen where I consider the dub jsuperior to the sub.
Dr. Cakey
Black Rock Shooter: Yes. This. I have no idea what the general opinion is about the Black Rock Shooter franchise etc. and I don't think it's important. I'd heard the name a couple of times before, and yesterday on a whim I googled it and Wikipedia explained everything to me. Thank you, Wiki-tan. And now, having watched 7.2 episodes (Nico Nico corrupted the first episode after 7 minutes and the last episode after 17, so I don't exactly know how it ends, but I think I have enough information), I can say...I finished two shows in the same day where the world kinda sorta comes to an end. Fancy that. On its most basic level, I would say the BRS anime is what you would get if you combined Evangelion and Madoka Magica, and then somehow made it suck. I'm not sure how that's possible, but it happened. Moving on from that, I would say the most interesting thing about BRS is that it's not one anime: it's actually five different anime that happen to share the same characters and plot. I don't mean it's episodic, I mean it seems like after almost every episode the director and writer were fired, and then a new director and writer were brought in who knew only a basic synopsis of what happened before, and then made the next episode from there. This show has no plot, no antagonist, and possibly no protagonist. What it is is very pretty. Usually. Unfortunately, like [s]all[/s] a bad Hollywood blockbuster, it doesn't really matter. It's not grounded in a story, and since the fights are so brief (or because this show is kind of awful), there isn't any interesting fight choreography or back-and-forth like Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece can manage at least half the time. In a way, the show's awful, creepy metaphor of that awful, creepy children's book - about a birth who flies around, gathering more and more colors, until the colors muddle together and the bird turns black and dies - very much applies to the show itself. In summary, I recommend the first half of Black Rock Shooter. But God that opening makes my ears bleed. I'm no Vocaloid fan, but I know it's possible to make Miku not sound like a mechanical banshee.
Just Crouton
Blue Seed Story simplified: -Average high school girl (I forgot her name, and am too lazy to wiki it) is part of family of people (Kushinada or something) with magical powers, even though she can't do crap in a fight. -Evil twin sister (whatever her name is) turns evil -Bad guys want to destroy humanity and restore plant-life to Earth or something because...uhh...generic anime BS that all humans are evil or something -Secret government organization assembled to battle evil bad guys... -A love interest who is a bearable Inuyasha and like him, does most of the fighting because the heroine is a girl The artwork is weird. The characters, especially the females, have gigantic chins that would make a male character in the DCAU say "you're trying too hard." And, the female faces look flat, save for the grandmother. The fights are boring. There's an unfunny running gag about the girl's panties. Now, I know what you're thinking, and I agree. "Unfunny running gag about panties" is redundant. Thankfully, this show understands restraint and the joke dies out episodes in. It's like Inuyasha set in the present, without redundant dialogue ("INUYASHA!" KAGOME!" "WIND SCAR!" "HIRAIKOTSU" "DANCE OF BLADES!" "IT'S NARAKU'S POISONOUS INSECTS!"), a reasonable length of 26 episodes, and the villains suck less. It's passable.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
CHIHAYAFURU Story Synopsis: Ayasa Chihaya is a schoolgirl who falls in love with the competitive Japanese card game of karuta. She once played it with a group of really close friends, but due to some circumstances, one of the protagonists of the story quit playing it. Chihaya then goes from city to city hoping to find this person again and get him interesting in karuta again. However, in the midst of all this, another boy enters the fray, and the story develops into a sort of "love triangle" experience. I started watching it a couple of months ago, but just now got done with it literally a few hours ago. As far as slice-of-life animes go, this I would definitely rank higher on the list than many others. It has a lot of great writing and emotional tear-jerking in some parts. The characters aren't cliche'd to death, like in most slice-of-life animes, making it far more realistic in the sense that this is really real (see: Clannad, where a girl can kick still apparently kick a guy 250 feet in the air). I didn't catch the director of the show, but it's pure gold. Everything flows naturally. There are hardly any errors in dialogue and/or rhythm. The characters are believable and real (a.k.a. no one is perfect, and you will see that a lot in the show). I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for some time to kill. The first season is only 27 or so episodes, so it's not terribly long. There's also a second season coming out in January 2013 that is manga-exclusive. Alice Moonflowyr
Angel Beats I must first express severe dissapointment in this thread for having no mention of what is arguably one of the best Animes evar. Anyway, even from the first episode of this, I was hooked. The first four/five episodes or so seemed mostly centered on comedy with a little bit of plot thrown in, and then things just started getting darker. Which was awesome. I was busting a gut the entire way through the first disk. (I have the entire series on DVD). The characters were simply amazing, and the plotline is almost completly original. The ending even made my cry :') And keep in mind that I've seen lots of 'sad' moments in movies, and TV shows, and NONE have made me cry. AB is the only one to ever do that. Making this show all the more bettar. And I know that phrase doesnt work somehow.... All in all, purely amazing series. If you like anime, and havent watched this. You suck. Go watch now. If you DONT like anime much and havent watched this; You also suck. Go watch now. 5,000,000,000,000/

bury the year
Might as well contribute, although the only one I can think of is one that I finished a while ago. ;3; Guilty Crown: I'll get it out of the way now. Guilty Crown's biggest problem was its ambition. It tried to incorporate too many grand and flashy ideas that would've have worked well if only one or two were used. Instead, trying to cram together personality-type weapons and butt-controlled mechas (exaggeration, but really) and incest-y subtext and sci-fi mumbo jumbo makes everything confusing, especially at the cost of the character and plot development. Shu and Inori are stunningly socially retarded at the beginning (one intentionally, one not so much), and by the end of the series they've improved but not by the amount that they deserve. The ending rings hollow, too, especially because it tries to tie all these wildly swerving plot threads with the appropriate amount of symbolic flourish. However, I'd still recommend the show, if only for the artistic merits alone. GC is an absolute dream to watch - the visuals are consistently slick and intricate (character designs by one of my favorite web artists doesn't hurt), and ODs and EDs choreographed by Supercell are a dream come true. This is the kind of show you need to not overanalyze. If you do, it falls apart quickly. Don't, and you're in for one hell of a ride. Shradow
Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day The show was awesome. Like a lot of things I've seen, it started off funny, then become really emotional. I loved the characters and how you saw their true feelings the further you got, and the ending was absolutely heartwrenching, I might start crying again just thinking about it. Gungrave It's an anime based off a video game, but while the video game focused more on the action, the anime focused on the characters (still plenty of action). I labeled it mediocre at first, but it grew on me somewhat. Definitely not something I'll watch again, but I enjoyed it. The ending left me content.
