Let's make Gem-Knights shin*mystic box'd* (Gem-Knight Asterism)

Northern Sage

This concept is based upon a technique in jewelry that makes it seem like there is a star inside it. Also based on Mask Change in terms of Yu-Gi-Oh! But let's get on with the cards.

Gem Astrion
Normal Spell Card
Tribute 1 "Gem-Knight" monster you control; Special Summon 1 "Gem-Knight" monster from your Extra Deck with the same name. You can send 1 "Gem" monster in your hand to the Graveyard; Add this card to your hand.

EARTH
Aqua/Fusion/Effect
****
2100/0
Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "Gem Astrion". This card is also treated as "Gem-Knight Sapphire". Once per turn, when this card is targeted for an attack: You can banish 1 Normal Monster in your Graveyard; Destroy the attacking monster before damage calculation. If there are no monsters in your Graveyard: Banish this card.

EARTH
Pyro/Fusion/Effect
******
2500/2000
Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "Gem Astrion". This card is also treated as "Gem-Knight Ruby". This card gains 300 ATK for each EARTH monster in your Graveyard. When this card destroys a monster by battle: Inflict damage equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.

Gem-Knight Stella Carbunculus
EARTH
Pyro/Fusion/Effect
2100/1800
Must first be Special Summoned by the effect of "Gem Astrion". This card is also treated as "Gem-Knight Garnet". Once per turn, when your opponent activates the effect of a Spell or Trap Card: You can banish 1 Normal Monster in your Graveyard; Negate the activation. When this card attacks a defense position monster: Inflict Piercing Battle Damage.

CnC and stuff.

The names don't sit well with me. They feel too similar. That may be how jewelers actually identify them, but I think the cards would benefit thematically from spicing up the names somehow.

Would calling them "Astrion-Knight" or "Gem-Astrion" instead of "Gem-Knight" help? (astrion being the term for the effect)
