envysin696
Been in the dark for a couple years any suggestions?
Heimdall The Watcher
Depends on what you like. My tastes tend towards dark, bloody, violent, mecha, fantasy, sci-fi, mind-bending, stuff like that, but I know some good action stuff as well. I can recommend Deadman Wonderland and Trinity Blood to Neon Genesis Evangelion and Inuyasha. What do you like?
King of Games
5 anime every fan should watch once (courtesy of Arkada): -Cowboy Bebop -Trigun -Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) <-My first anime -Neon Genesis Evagelion -Akira (movie) Each of these has plenty of entertainment value as well as just enough thought-provoking elements that they've become Classic. Sleepy
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. One of my favorite shows when I first looked at it, but weware of Gainax's endings. The last part of that company's shows are always awkward. Puella Magi Madoka Magica is pretty good. It's not nearly as pink as they make it look in the opening. Try at least 3 episodes. It's a different approach than the usual "Maho Shojo" genre. CLANNAD. I watched it not too long ago, and it climbed to one of my top choices. I love the dialogs and feelings in it. To describe it, I think it's better that you actually watch it. Hi No Tori (by Ozamu Tezuka). Is a short collection of one shot stories. Not very well known as an anime, but it's pretty insteresting. ^those are all different types of shows
Dr. Cakey
Oh God. This subject again. Every time you make a big, sweeping statement like that, there's going to be some...contention. Luckily, I have a system set in place such that the first person to suggest Dragon Ball Z gets shot. In most other places, you'd then get a stampede of people hating Evangelion, but we have Darkplant to counter-balance them. Or something. idk My Top 5 (in reverse order, because it's more dramatic that way): 5. Death Note 4. Gurren Lagann 3. Neon Genesis Evangelion 2. Puella Magi Madoka Magica 1. Code Geass Other great/good stuff off the top of my head (excluding anything already mentioned): Future Diary Fate/zero FMA: Brotherhood Gundam 00 Angel Beats ...I think I like anime that start with 'F'. Currently airing there's Sword Art Online (which reminds me, I've enjoyed the ~18 episodes of Accel World I've seen) and...I assume other good things? I still need to see Akira... And thus my disorganized post comes to a close.

Heimdall The Watcher
Hmmm...well if you enjoyed Code Geass (#1 anime!), then how about Ghost In The Shell? I believe S-Cry-Ed is also by the same artist as Code Geass but could be wrong. Also Blassreiter is dark, but epic; if you like Trinity Blood then go for it. Shradow
Since you've seen TTGL, I recommend you see the movies if you haven't already. It fits all the episodes into two movies, and manages to make it tons more epic. Aside from most everything already suggested: - Zero no Tsukaima - Shakugan no Shana - Dog Days - One Piece - Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt - Powerpuff Girls Z And while it's not an anime, it's just an anime movie, I suggest Redline. It's like F-Zero on drugs and it's abso-freaking-lutely amazing.
envysin696
One piece saw until corny. (Sorry for all fans)Heard of Dog Days Shoulda seen it when I had the chance
Shradow
Well, the whole thing's pretty corny, it's about super-powered pirates and friendship and dreams and stuff. Doesn't stop it from being hilarious and awesome. (You didn't watch the 4kids dub, did you? *shudders*)

XDD[/background] (Well, if you don't mind the blood and the extremely morbid, twisted nature of the show, give Deadman Wonderland a shot; if you can't handle the first 5 minutes or so, then its not for you, that's the most brutal, the beginning) And [background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] Blassreiter?[/background] (Blassreiter I like to call 'techno-zombies', if your cards are any indication it should be right up your alley, though the focus is on the living altered, rather than the dead altered) Oh and saw the second Installment of Ghost in the shell. DeathSDelano
Well, if you were able to watch online I would say Guilty Crown, because In my honest opinion anime was epic as hell, and has badA music{Bios, Silence, and some others which can be found on youtube just have to type in guilty crown Bios and you should be able to find all of the music] that lets you know stuff got real. Accel World And Sword Art online are pretty good animes ongoing right now once again if you were about to watch them online. Not much esle, I can really suggest that has not already been said. Heimdall The Watcher
Ah, well hopefully you can watch Blassreiter; it uses an interesting blend of 2D/3D graphics, using 3D for the Demoniacs (zombies). Also don't know if you like mecha, but if you do try RahXephon, sort of like a shorter, more visually weird NGE. And I've only just started watching it, but I'm familiar with the game version of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, and highly recommend the anime.
