Finally got it in, took me forever to find a good picture with an effect that matches >.<

Activate this effect only when a monster you control (except a Token Monster) is targeted by your opponent's card effect: Special Summon 1 Covershield Token (Beast-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 1000/DEF 1000) in Defense Position and change the target of your opponent's card effect to the Token. That token is destroyed after your opponent's card effect resolves.

Chale, let's see what can I do...
Elemental Rising
Continuous Trap
This card is activated when you have no FIRE, WATER, WIND or EARTH monsters in your side of the field.
On your Standby Phase, you can Pay 1000 Life Points: Add 1 FIRE, WATER, WIND or EARTH monster with and ATK of 1400 or lower to your Deck or Graveyard.
You take 250 Life Points of damage at your End Phase when the effect is not used.

(Note: This card goes well with the "Element" cards: this cards are either LIGHT or DARK, so Elemental Rising can work to give them use of their special effects. BTW, the last line means that, if you don't use the effect of the trap on the Stand By Phase, you lose )
Is this fine?

I accept this.
Will we learn our scores?

I threw away the scores after deciding the winner, but I'm pretty sure you would have taken second place with the Dr. Giggles card. You lost points because it seemed like you'd get way more use out of it if you were already ahead, and in control of which monsters were destroyed, than if you could only desperately grab 1 target to add as an Xyz material. That made it really snowbally, which hurt its viability (slightly) and I felt it went against the feel of the contest since snowballing cards like this can really emphasize luck over skillful plays. Still, it was very close.

Stump just seemed much less likely to be viable. Side-Deck card at best, but even then it felt too easy to play around in a lot of situations. Being a tuner was nice, but I just couldn't convince myself that it would really make the game-state better.

What about me? .-.

Scored great points in the first 2 categories, but I felt Wind-ups and Zombies could just abuse it way too hard. It seemed like any Deck in the future that could reliably form Rank 4 Xyz without being mono-attribute could also abuse it pretty hard. The fact it can give you 2 draws on the turn you Summon it means it will often pay for itself, and because it's instant it could also use the draws to make another copy, ect, ect. Good card, but just too potentially fast.
