Not-so-Radiant Arin
Those people are just looking at someone to b**** at. If she hadn't gone to that thing, things possibly would have turned out differently.
Darth Revan of the Sith
Uri Geller is a genius in the field of Physics and the like. What they did there was one incident a long time ago. What happened to her was tragic but she needs to be able to make her own decisions. I believe Uri Geller is really good at what he does. He does not lie imho.

.Rai
Faith healers are basically thieves. No point treating them as anything else really. They're basically the same as any person who would send you an email pretending to be some African prince, or any person doing benefit fraud, or the simple common thief. Tentacruel
Faith healers are frauds? I am so surprised at this brand new revelation. But really, people can believe whatever they please, but when you intentionally lie and manipulate one's belief for personal gain, you're a big fat meanie. Just Crouton
Faith healers inspired me to beat whiny, emo teenagers into real men of society. One by one, because of my forceful, borderline-abusive methods, they have dropped their poetry, razor blades, death metal, and Hitler comb-overs, and have taken up Schwarzenegger action movies, laser-sight submachineguns, Scott Steiner, and man-beards. But now, I find out in this thread that faith healers are really frauds? This is shocking. It's like when my mom told me yesterday that the black guy with the Arab name was really the president and not the personal driver goofing off with his baby mama. Thank you for opening my eyes, Voltron...I mean, Voltaire.

Take it out of the title and start a separate thread on general physics discussion.
Cin
The mind and body can be fooled easily if someone believes it deep enough. (The Placebo effect which is why sometimes in drug trials people get better if they're given the non-drug tablet/medication). When they really milk it I suppose you could give them as frauds, but when they genuinely (without malice/evil will) you can say that they aren't frauds. Lord English
I hate people like this, fraudulently milking people out of their money and time for lies. It's fundamentally sick (Tim Minchin quote there (Look guys, we got a badass over here)). [quote name='Agro' timestamp='1347137729' post='6021677'] You all must LOVE politicians.
