Tentacruel
Buy this game. Buy it right now. FOR THE PLOT. I'm not even kidding. It's freaking amazing. Don't google it, it will spoil it. Just buy it right now it's amazing. <3 <3 Also discuss it if you've played it.

Jord200
One of the best games I ever played. Amazing storyline.
Lonk
I've noticed a trend with the Paper Mario games: Paper Mario 1 = Great gameplay, but bad story Paper Mario TTYD = Good gameplay and good story Super Paper Mario = not exactly the best gameplay, but amazing story. Is that how balance is created? Maybe for Sticker star, it will rebalance itself.
~British Soul~
I've noticed another trend with the games: - The final boss for each game was invincible for the first part of the fight (although the Shadow Queen could be hurt before she made herself invincible) I'm willing to bet that the final boss of Sticker Star will be invincible for the first part of the fight, otherwise it'd break the trend, then again the trend is predictable if you've played through the Paper Mario games. Northern Sage
Saw a used copy in my game store. Kind of want to buy it, kind of don't. Chapters 6 and 7 seem like huge turn-offs considering the sheer lengthiness of them.

I agree that SPM's an awesome game. I was alright with the gameplay, though I'm also fine with Sticker Star going back to its roots. The only downside to SPM was the partner roster; it was all about Mario and the gang, which is fine, but partners are the real charm to the Paper Mario series. Shradow
While I think TTYD was better than SPM, It's still an awesome game. The ending was good... *sniff* Also, Paper Luigi FTW. antist0opid
I have to agree, Super Paper Mario, a bit underrated. Sure its gameplay is far from the series usually is, but the story well makes up for it. TTYD still the best imo, hoping sticker star does well. [quote name='Fusion X. They only talk when you first meet them and then they become weapons for the rest of the game. Later partners continued to grow (if you took them out) and had plenty of development beforehand. Flame Dragon
Praising the story in a Mario game, what happened? But yea, the game has an amazing story, and since I never played the first 2 I didn't mind the gameplay change. For those that want to see the game in action Chuggaaconroy did an LP for the game not that long ago.

Ikatsui
I enjoyed SPM's plot, but TTYD will always stand out as one of the defining games of my childhood. Seriously, I played through again a few weeks ago, and SO MUCH NOSTALGIA. On topic: Like I said before, the plot was very enjoyable, with twists that legitimately surprised me, not the "well, duh" I usually do.
