GreenGuy
[color=#4b0082][size=4]Hi, hi, these are my Pokemon Cards for the Ghost-type! For those who recognize my username, I did have a thread that had a compilation of all the Pokemon Cards that I had created, but over time, the thread became a little hard to maintain, what with the broken images and the excessive load time it took to display each card I had created (which was well over 100 at the time, I think...) and overall, I didn't like the end product of some of them. As a result, I've decided to start again from scratch (as for the other types I completed already, they'll be refurnished and put into a different thread), and instead put a different link to different threads for each of the types. My hope is that it clears the clutter that the original thread had and hopefully make it easier for people to navigate. Those who don't remember how I split up typing, I do it by primary typing, with the exception of Normal/Flying types. For example, Bulbasaur, a Grass/Poison type, would be put in the Grass thread, not the Poison thread. However, Pidgey, a Normal/Flying type, would go into the Flying thread (after all, how wasteful would a thread dedicated to just one Pokemon be?) along with the other Normal/Flying types. You'll probably notice a trend with them. All but three of them have to be Ritual Summoned. Fits for bringing the dead to life, is it not? In any case, many of them have incredibly OP effects, most prominently the ability to attack directly despite rather high ATK, but have the unfortunate fate of having to be Ritual Summoned and usually having some sort of toll to weaken them down. In any case, some of them can actually be rather useful. It's rather unfortunate that it would be useless to have only Ghost-types in a Deck, or else there wouldn't be anything to sacrifice! In any case, Ghost-types have very interesting abilities that can have their opponents shaking in fear. I'm willing to listen to any and all advice as long as it is backed with good reasoning. Also, if there's any suggestions for cards in this section ONLY that you would like to see, then go ahead and let me know and I'll deem whether or not it should appear. I hope you like them. Symbiote
Love them. Ghost types are probably my favorite pokemon. But you're right, some of really OP. Take Arceus for example. If you have a ghost only deck, the other person is doomed. Also Lampent. Very high ATK and can attack directly.
GreenGuy
I'm glad you like them. Yes, I do have my reservations on some of them. While I will say that Arceus is kind of hard to Summon, what with needing to Synchro a Tuner along with 2 monsters that are both Ritual Summoned. I may choose to actually banish Ghost-type cards from the Graveyard to activate its ability instead...would that be a good idea? As for Lampent, yeah, that is kind of high, even if it can only stay on the field for 3 turns. Maybe 2200 ATK is better. Litwick's is even kind of high for a Level 4, so I may tone it down to, say, 1600 ATK. I also feel like the Gastly evolutionary family's ability to return to the hand is a little OP as well. It's not really that much of a toll, actually, as it can sometimes be played to your advantage. But I'll make these changes if I get more input supporting it. Thanks for the criticism, it helps me with where the cards stand.
GreenGuy
- Edited the following cards: "Giratina, the Renegade Pokemon," "Arceus, the Bereavement Pokemon," "Litwick, the Candle Pokemon," Lampent, the Lamp Pokemon," and "Chandelure, the Luring Pokemon." - Removed: All support cards. I figured, to maintain parallels and to leave less waiting time in between threads, I would compile all "Pokemon" support cards in one other thread. GreenGuy
Edit: From now, on, I'll just be posting the monsters. Moves will come as soon as I find a way to distribute them without leaving cards out. On the plus side, I've made some refurnishing of effects and images, as well as changed to types to actual Yu-gi-oh types (in this case, most of these are Fiends).
