"Darksiding Tactics": It's a Worms reference

I never expected my birthday to be this boring. This fairly simple trap hides a given monster in your Deck, then Special Summons it if/when you draw it. Granted, you can't just take it back out with a card effect, but at least you can get it back without cost next time. As for the name, "darksiding" is a tactic in Worms that involves burrowing into the landscape and attacking with indirect-fire weapons like air strikes.

TRAP
When a monster on your side of the field would be removed from the field by battle or a card effect, you can send that monster to your Deck and shuffle your Deck. Special Summon that monster to your side of the field when you draw the selected monster from your Deck. You cannot add the selected monster from your Deck to your hand or the field by a card effect, except "Darksiding Tactics".

It seems like possibly the slowest card in the game. Rarely will this give any payback. Where do you see it being used?

EDIT: Nevermind, Lavalval Chain. Still, it's inconsistent and I can't think of a specific Deck to play it in.

I intended it to save a powerful monster on your side of the field from being destroyed, then automatically re-summoning it once you draw it. If it could be added to the hand from the deck, you could get it back almost instantaneously, which I consider OP'd. I've always played in a slower format, though...

Yeah, but this doesn't work with Synchs/Xyz/Fusions/Nomis, which eliminates most bosses as targets.

Come to think of it, adding an Extra Deck clause wouldn't make any sense, because you can't draw from it...yeah, I really didn't think this through. At least I put this in Written so I didn't waste time making a pic for it and everything.

You could just make a rule-bending clause that Extra Deck monsters get put face-up in the Main Deck when targeted.

I can't think of the proper OCG. I'm think I'm going to give this idea a rest and work on something else for a while.
