El Majishan
So I'm getting into MTG and I picked up the Ears of Elves ready build deck. This is my first build so chances are I'm doing it wrong. The basic idea is swarm with elves and use black support for removal. Creatures: 20 3: Lys Alana Hunt Master 3: Elvish Warrior 3: Immaculate Magistrate 2: Nissa's Chosen 2: Imperious Perfect 2: Taralara's Battalion 2: Moonglove Winnowerl 2: Elven Rider Others: 16 3: Giant Growth 3: Eyeblight's Ending 3: Terror 2: Nissa Revane 2: Essence Drain 2: Privileged Position 1: Elvish Promenade Lands: 24 12: Forest 8: Swamp 4: Woodland Cemetery Pretty sure its terrible...I don't know the entire card pool so I welcome all good suggestions. Aerion Brightflame
Maybe Arbor Elf, or Llanowar elves for more mana to help swarm?
.Rai
Well, I assume you're aware of formats. Currently, your deck is built Modern-legal, but I'd recommend playing in Standard (which consists of two 'blocks' of sets and the latest 'core set'). http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=347711 A guide for Elves in Modern. El Majishan
Is Standard Format what tournaments usually use?
Simping For Hina
Yes. Standard is the 2 newest blocks and the core sets that came after.
