-Griffin
|Draining Spell| |Quickplay| |You cannot activate this card during your Standby Phase. Reduce the ATK of 1 monster you control by 500. During your Standby Phase, you can change 1 monster your opponent controls to Defense Position to add this card from your Graveyard to your hand. This card cannot be sent from the hand or field to the Graveyard as a cost.| I think it's a fun card. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
So it doesn't target? (Not that it really matters) Change a monster's position, get a card back to hand, but it can't be used for costs? I like it, mostly because of its recyclability, and since it's permanent, you can tag an opponent's jacked monster with it. I could easily see this in Creature Swap builds, where you don't care all that much about what your monsters are at, and you get a free monster stopper. Link to comment
-Griffin
The return doesn't target. The -500 ATK technically does (but who's going to negate that?) It seems fun since a lot of people are totally indifferent to a monster's defense, and this allows you to totally abuse low-DEF monsters. Also Scrap Dragon fun. Oh, and pro plays with dodging Bottonmless. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
The problem I see is its fairly low usage outside certain decks because Book of moon and E-Con. Link to comment
-Griffin
I'm not sure. It's a position change potentially every turn for the rest of the duel, can dodge Bottomless, can be Scrap Dragon food, some Spell Counter Decks would probably love the amount of activations, and it's setable to bait s/t removal. I think it, like Moon, is a quite nice and versatile card. Also, it can be sent for a draw with Card Destruction because that is an effect. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Hm. You do have a point there, and I agree it's a versatile card. Link to comment
