Just how important are Life Points, anyway?

Ridiculous Gamble
Normal Spell Card
Roll any number of six-sided dice, then pay 1000 Life Points x the sum of the results; draw cards equal to the number of dice rolled. If you cannot pay the cost, you lose the Duel.

Ex. Starting from 8000 LP, you can choose to roll 1 die and be guaranteed to draw 1 card, paying anywhere from 1000 to 6000 LP.
Starting from 8000 LP, you can choose to roll 2 dice. There is a 7/12 (~58%) chance that you will successfully draw 2 cards, paying anywhere from 2000 to 7000 LP. However, there is a 5/12 (~42%) chance that you cannot pay the >8000 LP cost and you will lose the Duel.

(Ruling: You must have over 1000 LP x the number of dice you choose to roll. So, at 8000 LP, the max number of dice you can choose to roll is 7. Have fun with the 1 in 279,936 chance of drawing 7 cards.)

Roll any number of six-sided dice -> Roll a six-sided die any number of times... ...You cannot activate this card if your Life Points are equal to or less than the number of rolls x 1000. (because I don't carry a half-dozen of dice with me at all times)

I don't think many people like having their duel determined by winning or losing a rock-paper-scissors game, and even less so with some die rolls.
