-Griffin
|Jar of Plenty| |Trap Card| |Activate on during your opponent's turn before the Battle Phase. Draw 2 cards and your opponent adds the top card of their Deck to their hand (this is not considered a drawing a card).| The awkward wording is because of possible Appropriate abuse. Link to comment
Sleepy
The stuff im parenthesis is just for foolproof measure I guess, but "draw" also counts as "add", while "add" is not "draw" (iirc), so you should be safe without it. As for it's design, it's a bit worrysome that it seems to be ideal for chain burn. Link to comment
-Griffin
It's foolproof measure, since the card wouldn't be short of space to fit words, yeah. Yeah, this is probably good in Chain Burn, but tbh, the plan was a card that would be good in every Deck that ran out of options quickly or main problem was consistency. It seems slow enough to not be a 100% staple, but with plenty of potential to be used in Decks that make use of it. Ruling note: You can activate this card when your opponent declares the end of their Main Phase 1, they cannot then continue their Main Phase 1 (e.g., make use of their draw during this battle phase.) Zowayix
Wasn't there a card that stated "Neither player can add cards to their hand except by drawing them"? Link to comment
-Griffin
Rai-Oh, yes. If you controlled Rai-Oh, you could not activate this card. If you chained Call of the Haunted and targeted Rai-Oh, then I guess that's just a good combo. Link to comment
Dementuo
Actually, the way that it's worded, it would work just like Hero Blast does. Meaning you could activate it with Rai-Oh out. Now, if it said "You draw two cards AND your opponent adds the top card of their deck to their hand", then you couldn't activate it with Rai-Oh out, as the effects would happen simultaneously, and therefore could not be resolved properly in the presence of Rai-Oh. tl;dr: Make it say "Draw AND opponent adds" Link to comment

newhat
This is a -1/+2 for you and a +1 for the opponent. It would be usable in stall Exodia Decks where giving your opponent more cards doesn't mean anything. Link to comment
-Griffin
It's a +0 overall. Stall Exodia is pretty weak compared to quick Exodia or Countdown, so I really don't care about it. As far as Countdown/Exodia as a whole goes, though, they're terribly designed cards that I generally don't balance around. Link to comment
Lonk
Does Rai-Oh's effect prevent the draw from happening, considering that your opponent adding the card to their hand is at the same timing of the user drawing? Link to comment
-Griffin
Rai-Oh prevents the activation. If you chain Call of the Haunted to this card and Summon Rai-Oh, your opponent doesn't get the add, but you get both draws, because the effect resolves as far as possible. Link to comment
