Agro
Naturia Pheromone EARTH / Level 3 [ Psychic / Tuner ] This card cannot be used as Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of a "Naturia" Synchro monster. ATK / 1000 DEF / 600 Link to comment
Lonk
No, for obvious reasons. And by obvious, I mean that it's flavor and effect doesn't fit in the archtype. Link to comment
-Griffin
tbh, I hate Naturia lockdowns so much that I dislike this card as a result. Stuff with Bambooshoot and the synchros is just annoying to play against, gah. :| The card itself seems like a good boost to Naturia's though. As much as I dislike their design, turn 1 Beast/Bambooshoot is a strong play. Landoise too, I guess. I doubt it would make them too powerful, just give them the speed they lack almost entirely. Link to comment
Naturia might be more viable control than some, but Beast, Bambooshoot, Exterio, and to a much lesser extent, Barkion, Mantis, and Hornneedle, don't feel like 'done right' from a design perspective. Better than many control cards though. So yes, I suppose it's "done right" as far as it's "done better than Konami's other attempts." But yeah, this is the sort of thing they needed, so good job at accomplishing what you were trying to do. I just don't think it should be done. Link to comment

http://forum.yugiohc...ures-rebellion/
Golem is cool. Melon is cool. Roach feels a bit situational and can lead to too many dead hands, not a massive fan. Plateau is just way too much advantage and is outright evil with Horn-needle. At the very least that should be once/turn. Root feels bad. It's a -2 which has a good chance of doing completely nothing. Magic Drain seems far superior in most situations. (And, I feel, is a pretty well designed card as far as control goes) Link to comment
Agro
Here's the best part. Melon and Roach + these: And horneedle, but you already noticed that. -Griffin
Mantis is okay with Roach since it doesn't loop, I'm sure I mentioned him earlier in cards I dislike in Nats, but aren't terrible. I'm perfectly happy for its interaction with Sunflower/Vein though since that, at least, has quite a serious chance of battles killing them off, which is good counterplay that is healthy for the game. My feelings about control Decks are thus: A (well-designed from a game designer's perspective) control Deck shouldn't give your opponent less options, but should force him to make choices and sacrifices where he normally wouldn't, to show how much he values various cards/effects at any point in time. Why I mentioned I like Magic Drain is that in many situations, it gives your opponent the choice between discarding or not discarding, making him evaluate which card is worth more, something of a show of skill.
