-DG-
Alright, since most people aren't obviously going to be advanced GFXers, I thought it would be fair to have Advanced GFX teams as well as overall teams Basically, these are the teams that are more detailed in what they do, ex. King Dragons is mainly a Pentool/Digipaint Team, and, say Aero, NW's possible team would more than likely specialize in tags and LP's. Advanced teams also require admittance to be added as an advanced team, judging on the team's overall work and/or the leader's experience in their area of expertise. An overall team would really be just a team that is a medly of GFX. So basically, to apply for Advanced status, really simply PM me once we get this started, and I'll decide whether your team is of advanced status. Remember, quality does count. Alright, since this IS the Graphics section, I do have the seal for advanced GFX teams. It's pretty much the GFX teams logo with a gold-like appearance and "ADVANCED GFX" at the top. Night
I'm just glad seeing effort being put into this.I think it'll work it out just fine once we kick start this and everyone collaborates in an effort to make this a success. As for the project itself I'd like to hear what this will actually look like once it's up. Structure-wise, how will the teams actually work. Catman25
Will advanced teams face-off (assuming competition) against overall teams?

Cin
Somehow I don't think we have nearly enough decent people doing graphics to begin with.

Night
How I see this unfolding is relatively simple; It's not about not having enough people, we do, however we just need them to actually join. Hypothetically speaking, let's make some teams: King Dragons:YCMakerDGKakaSeta Communist Taco:'NightMadsenLCMasuary Baked Bread:.RaiCatman.AlphaAisu Nothin' but sluts:'AleeLZ'rainy boyDae Third Elbow:Yondy25 oh ohYinnyTormy Each team should have a strong and active leader who doesn't only show excellence skill wise but is also knowledgeable, (DG, Night, Rai, Alee, Yondy) are the five who are most qualified in my opinion. There should also be vets who rarely produce anything but are equally as knowledgeable also scattered throughout (YCMaker, Seta, Rainy boy, Madsen, Tormy). The 3rd slot should be filled with active high-nov classed members with exceeding potential who will be the bulk in the competitive scene (Kaka, LC, Alpha, Dae). The final slot is the wild card, mainly composed of active, solid renderers (Yin, Aisu, Masuary) or the sexiest two members in showcase (CM, 25 oh oh). A team for the most part will be structured this way however is does not have to be exactly composed in this manner. 5 teams with 4 active members each. Again, all hypothetical, but the way I see it, this is our best bet. No advanced shenanigans, all it will do is dissuade members from joining as well as competing. All teams must be equal in member skill range as well as activity (for balance purposes), as seen above. What will happen is the teams will be made with the leader (preferably someone who is eligible) already having 3 other members agree to start a team, DG (perhaps Yinny and I too) will judge whether or not the team is balanced, if it is you can get started on a logo if you have not done so already and make thread. If not, switch someone out and find another, shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Start conversing, posting here, or sending out those pms and let's get this started. Tormented
>Goes to post because Night told him to. Sounds like fun, I was going to add that making "Advanced" teams sounds like a terrible idea, if everyone had balanced teams there wouldn't be any need for "Advanced" teams. edit: lol @ trams. -DG-
I like the Advanced idea, but I agree after looking that this idea should definitely be put on hold or gotten rid of. We need to contact these people and see what they think.
