Oh and I now hate scales.
Simping For Hina
It is quite pleasant to look at and has nice detail as well. You have a mix of 2D and 3D. The wings give more of a 3D presence while the body is flat, 2D. The horn looks like it is going to the side though.
Northern Sage
EGAD IT'S. SO. CUTE. Still look more like fins than wings from here.

CMRenji
I could see dis as an actual Pokemon. The scales look like you put a lot of effort into them And as far as I know(which is not much), you can put a downward curve beneath the horn to make it look like it's on top of the head. Overall it's great, adorable and I feel I should bust out the Ultra Balls on it.

[/quote] Thing is I know how to make the horn right normally, the problem is I'm tring to make it a scaleless horn while there are scales under it and it's just awkward for me >.< Anyway I'm thinking 2 evolutionary lines based on the dex entry. 1 that takes advantage of its wings and 1 that takes advantage of his rock hide. Simping For Hina
To make it look straight, you would either make another curved line to appear it is going on the otherside and is centered or you could try to erase the other out line better, that kind of gives off the illusion that it is to the side and not up right. Miror B
Well anyway finally got it named and made the stage 1 evolution. Thanks to Renji for names.
Night
Your anatomy is terrible, far too block-like. Shading is either non-apparent or not much effort was put into it. Work on it, try to imitate actual pokemon figures.

Miror B
Lemme rephrase my last post real quick, reading it again it gives off the wrong tone. I made it a bit blocky on purpose for the reason being is that it's a rock type, and with the first form it's going from being a little ball of pebbles with wings to a hulking dragon with rocks for skin. There's going to be a second line that's going to be a bit smoother and more serpentine so I think that'll be a bit better, but I wanted Cragsaur to be blocky. Oh and Dragolithe'll be up in 3 seconds. Though I wanna change the name cuz I just realize I got the name from Gigalithe >>
.Rai
It's really hard to comment on fully traditional sketches. Concept is up to you so no critique there. It's really hard to say anything Night hasn't mentioned. When Night mentions blocky, it's because you will very rarely see a design with little details to its silhouette. Take Onix. The entire design is a bunch of boulders, yet it clearly has form. Rocks are naturally craggy, and aren't generally well represented in a few ruler lines. Rocks themselves have many surfaces, so if you're doing a rock dragon, it really doesn't help that there's no shading (since that's the one thing that gives it...gusto). I guess I can't ask you to change it now, but it's a good thing to take in mind for the future. The side-on pose is very limiting. I'm a great hypocrite as I do use it myself if I get a difficult piece. Anyway, it makes everything look 2D and flat. And a bit boring. Dynamic poses resolve all these problems, lets you get more detail into view, and is good practice. It's difficult to critique ecause there's only that much you can do with sketches. Great effort nevertheless and it's a solid concept.

(btw they aren't ruler lines I'm just baws *shot*) Anyway I'll wait on the other designs for stuff before I edit these. But I do need to edit because looking at Dragolithe I noticed it's gonna have a hard time moving it's legs...
