RPing is the main thing I do on this site; for the last 2-3 years I've been primarily RPing. I seem to be slowing down/dying a little bit, due to creative loss and GCSEs, but I'd totally be up for RPing.

...Except, spreading it out over all the regions is not going to work. You could have people from all over the world, but concentrate them in one region; only part of a region would be better as well. With a pokémon RP, because of the expansive world you've got at your disposal, it's very easy to kill the RP. Too much distance between characters leads to very little character interaction which leads to RP death.

Owch, sounds nasty.

It was whole, just a dodgy one that I might not have cleaned properly, so I got an eye ulcer and had to spend a few days in hospital. Was kinda scary for a while. Still got scarring on my eye (only microsopic but there is genuinely a scar on my eye, which is kinda cool) and have to use special cleaning solution for my lenses. So yeah.

So... much... makeup... 0.o

That issue had presented itself before and I have various solutions. The simplest one would be to do that but I hope to do things correctly and bring us all together through means of a world spread tragedy.

And I've only ever been in two RPs. One in which I stopped posting, and the other in which I still post. But if I'll still check it, even tho I'm about as lazy at posting as DL.

I can see about a foot without glasses, and without glasses my eyes seem to burn and my migraines act up.
And I broke my glasses last week, so I'm having to put up with it. >.> I need new ones.

I would try for contacts or laser eye surgery, but laser eye surgery is way to expensive and I dont trust myself with contacts.

It's not as bad as it sounds though. 50 layers is just to say that it's a lot and I'm not leaving the house without it.
The key is trying to make it look natural and like it's all the shading and light.
That stuff's an effing science, I swear.

And yeah, contacts can be a problem depending on who uses them.

Also, I may join the RP if it's not too complicated because I need to focus on stuff these days.

Oh yeah, haven't said I don't really RP much, don't really have the time.

An update on my journey's through Unova; crossed the Skyarrow Bridge into Castelia City late last night, and holy-heck that was pretty stunning to see.

Discovering the bug gym and discovering that my so far underwhelming Amber (Pamsear) could be evolved with a Fire Stone that some kind gent gave to me, went back and did some hardcore training with him. His stats are getting better, but his moveset is soooooo bad. At Lv19 he learned Bite, decided that enough was enough and evolved him into Simisear. That's made him faster than any of the others in my team, but all of those do have an evo left.

So went back to the Gym, and discovered Plasma are running around. They have commited a terrible crime... stealing Bianca's Munna! Oh god this again. Within about a minute we find their HQ... right opposite Burgh's gym. The Sage claims he's thought it would be amusing to put their HQ right opposite a gym. That's just... the most idiotic thing I think I've come across that I can remember right now. Anyway the guy talks a bit, hands back the Munna, and they all leave quietly...

Plasma must be the worst team of the five I've encountered. They're just useless.

Finally get to the gym, bugs are weak. Although he did get me through the trainers it turned out I didn't even need Amber for Burgh; Rokki, Cassie and a great effort from Cressilia did the job against him, and got the badge. Now I've ventured briefly onto Route 4, and the pokemon I got was this fireball thing called Darumaka, who seems a jolly round thing. His moveset is good and I like him on first impressions, so will give him a chance. Struggled for a name, then for some reason Potpourri came to mind, so called him Popurri (must have thought it was a curry, muppet :S).

Mostly British and his Joey and regular runs, Matt's White run and some people doing various hacks (like the Manly Pink or Brown version).

I should probably start posting stuff about my own Nuzlocke; ze Pearl one. But meh, I'm just grinding at the moment, I always do at the beginning. Currently got a newly evolved Monferno(Nickname - Blaze...cos it's so original) at lvl 14, the rest are lv10: -Shinx(Sparkkles) caught on Route 202
-Bidoof(Who I forgot to nickname in game, but shall call him Doof on here and when I get to eterna) caught on route 201
-Starly(The same as Doof, but probs named Birdbrain) caught in Lake Verity
-Budew(Pothead XD) caught route 204
-Magikarp(Guppy) route 218 with old rod.

Story so far:
My annoying, jumpy, hyper-active 'friend' came to call. Mum told me to get out of the house. I left and started to go for a walk, but some guy ran up to me and wouldn't let me leave the village, then acted all chummy. Some people, eh?
Friend ran into me and threw me back a metre or two, even though he was opening a door so shouldn't have been able to run that fast. He was gonna meet me at some lake and charge me tonnes of money (Such a good friend) but forgot [s]to clear his internet search history[/s] grab his camera; cos we're going to see some weird coloured fish. I went up to his room, like ya do, and then he ran out [s]suspiciously running from his computer[/s] and left in a rush. I asked his mum about it, but she just repeated the same line, over and over again. You'd think I was in a video game or something.

So anyway, he runs out the door, I follow and meet him outside the village (the other douche appears to like Ralph. Oh, I didn't mention our names, did I? I'm Clement, and annoying rival/friend/stalker is Ralph) and then he starts to follow really close behind me as we walk to this lake, even though he was supposed to be leading and it's really awkward that he's so close. I could literally feel his breath on my neck.
So yeah, we go to this lake, and see an old guy and this chick at this lake. They're talking about some crap, I dont listen, and then the old guy craps out a suitcase and leaves, and the chick just blanks it. The old guy then shoves me out of the way, and the girl starts being all patronizing and stuff. Ugh.

But yeah, we decided to go check on this suitcase thing, when two birds come at us from exactly perpendicular directions, in perfect straight lines. Strange. But they luckily just hover there while we turn around and open the suitcase, spending about 10 minutes deciding on which pokémon to choose. Rather than just running and stuff.
But yeah, my fire monkey owns this pathetic bird thing, and Ralph scrapes a win. We both feel chuffed, then realise we stole a pokémon. I shrug, but he feels all guilty and wants to return it.

We try giving it back, Old guy wanders off, chick flirts. I go home and get a sandwich from my mum, she tells me to leave for Sandgem Town. I go. Meet chick. Meet old guy. Get to keep fire monkey and get free state of the art pokédex; as long as 10 year old character me goes on a dangerous and life-threatening journey around the entire country, searching out every single animal in said country, including some that no-one knows if they exist or not.

I then go home and tell mom. She shrugs and pretty much tells me to get lost. I leave. Get free pokéballs from chick (She totally wants me) and go back to the lake thing and route 201 and catch the first pokémanz that appear; Bidoof and Starly. Being the idiot that I am, I dont name them, and rush off to Jubilife, catching Shinx on route 202.
Get to Jubilife, give random package to Ralph and get free town map (I'm totally going to use that, rather than ignore it and leave it to go dusty in my Tardis-like backpack) beat up two school kids for a CD, then get a free watch. This day's going great for freebies at the mo. Free Pokémon, Free Pokédex, Free Pokéballs, Free TM, Free Watch, Free Town map. Oh, and Running shoes. I forgot to mention those. Apparently I could run in the trainers I had before; the identical trainers which I never took off. >.>

So anyway, I get free watch and turn left, grab a stick from some fisherman guy, catch a useless magikarp, look at it and sigh, then put it in the PC. I'll get it to a Gyarados when I get an Exp. Share. For now, I go north and beat up some little kids, catch a Budew, who I then grind on Magikarps. Then I go to Route 204 and grind the hell out of my 5 pokémon.

I've just entered some cave thing and gotten another free thing, some extra powerful CD that doesn't work unless I have a piece of plastic from a Gym. Ah well, I pick Doof for HM slave, cos that's all he's good for.

Wow, I didn't realise that much had actually happened. XD People want to keep up to date with this, or do you not want to hear about it?

Spent most of my day training on Route 4, exploring the Desert Resort and the Relic Castle.

In the Desert Resort my first pokemon was a Maracactus, which was caught.
In Relic Castle, my first pokemon was a Sandile, which was caught. My batteries then ran out...

So upon restarting I thought to myself when I go in again if the first pokemon is Sandile, go for it, if anything else, leave it and count the area as a miss.

It was a Sandile. And a slightly stronger one by the seems of it, but either way. Given me a bit of a conundrum now. Would be excellent for Nimbasa Gym, but beyond that... Although having said that Cassie has now evolved into a Boldare, but she's not ground-type. Nimbasa City looks dumb; got in there just wanting to go to pokemon centre and switch off, but have to battle Plasma, they [b]tell[/b] me they're going to hide in the theme park, am just given a bike, and then am dragged off by Bianca to the music hall. Which I flat out refused to get involved with. Then had to watch Bianca's dad being a prick and Elesa get involved, because I can only watch silently as ever, before finally everyone leaves me alone and I can turn off for the night.

Can't see myself getting anything off Route 5 as everything looks AWFUL there, so hmmm... my team might be six from Oshi, Ruff, Rokki, Cassie, Poporri and the two newbies... with Amber and Creselia dropped.

By the way, Maracatus is now my favourite in my team, simply because of his nickname. After a moment's thought, I called him Thorn...

... and as I confirmed it remembered that my game character's name, is Murtagh. :3

So after a bit, I decided to start playing Pocket Monster: Pokemon Emerald (the Chinese bootleg)

I heard one of the most hilarious lines ever

Dad called me on my way to Dewford (or, Shanmu Island, as it's called....which I first read as Shamu o3o)

and said

"Wrher are you HAM? Going to Shanmu Island? Watch out for EVERYTHING!"

Doof is dead!

Well, route 204 was easy; trainers were losers. Didn't catch anything in Oreburgh Gate; accidentally killing the Geodude I came across. Went to oreburgh, some trainer forced me to walk a few steps with him to the Gym I already knew was there, that I could see, but what the hell. Then Ralph decided to stand in front of it and wouldn't move. So instead, I wandered around the town, collecting some free stuff. After looking around for a bit, I healed my pokémon at the centre, then went to the mine.

And what luck! An Onix, straight off! Wooo! So onto battle! Weakened it a bit with Bidoof and the free Rock Smash that i got and gave to him. It seemed like a good start, and I managed to get it to a low HP and threw a pokéball. It looked like I now owned that Onix as the 6th member of my team! But it failed!!! The pokéball didn't catch it, and the Onix got a lucky Crit Hit with it's tackle! Bidoof was dead!

Of course, the next pokéball caught it. But Bidoof was dead, and I was down on a possible HM slave. Sad times. :'(

Met with roark, got him to go back to the gym, and left the mine after defeating a couple of lazy miners, leveling Onix to level 10. But Doof was dead, for a stupid reason, and it is the first casualty of this arduous journey. I guess it is time to challenge the Rock gym, after some quick grinding. But Doof's death still lingers.

Also, I pose a question. Do different floors/sections of things such as forests & caves count towards different areas; as in I could catch a different pokémon on each floor of a cave?

It was completely unintentional, which just made it funny. I caught this cactus thing I'd never seen before and got to nicknaming and was like "Barb-era? No it's male. Barb... spike... point... thorn... yeah Thorn sounds good." Gets halfway through typing it and... wait a minute... XD

In regards to your question I... don't think so. Think it's the first pokemon of an area in its entirity.

Which means I techincally cheated on Pinwheel Forst on White because I went for the first pokemon in the forest proper (Petalil) and not in the little routeway before hand that I didn't realise wasn't a Route (which should have been a Tympole). But eh.

Anyway, I'm in Driftveil City baby.

Plodding along with it at not much of a pace catching fairly decent pokemon. Well.... decentish anyway.

Since the last update:
Route 16: caught an Aldino (female, nicknamed Aldi).
Route 5: - (knocked out a Leipard cuz I didn't want it)
Driftveil Drawbridge: caught a Ducklett (male, nicknamed Yakky. Points to anyone who knows where that's from)
Cold Storage: caught a Timburr (female, nicknamed Kendo. As in Kendo stick/MA, doesn't fit a girl so well so gonna change to Kenda).

Yakky's stats are.... awful, frankly, and Aldi doesn't interest me at all and I just caught in case she could be used for a trade or something. Kenda is getting there though, she evolved into Gurdurr pretty quick and seems quite the tank, like a stereotypical Viking woman

Sick of Team Plasma and Cheren being rammed down my throat at every possible opprtunity, lost count of how many times I've beaten him now. There's just no let-up, so they've lost all meaning and credibility as foes and its making the game look so one-dimensional.

Also, the 'brand-new' pokemon blatantly aren't. I mean, I'm guessing here but I bet I'm right, I have to trade Boldore and Gurdurr to evolve them to their third stage right? In the exact same way as Graveler and Machoke had to be traded. Also Paliptoad = Poliwhirl huh? You could probably directly link any of the pokemon in this game to a direct first gen counterpart so far.

You've also got the 'so inventive' names, like Klink & Klank (or, in Japan, Gear. >.> A gear pokémon....called Gear.)

My adventure's going well, but I have little effort to write it all anymore. I'll write basic summaries. Caught and lost a Buizel in about 10 minutes, and just defeated the Eterna gym. Now got a Beautifly (Bugsy) and Sparkkles & Birdbrain evolved into a Luxio & a staravia; and I am currently inside the Galatic Eterna HQ, after mining for a bit. Simples.

I love when video game programmers put stuff like that in.

Anyway, Driftveil Gym. All my main 8 pokemon are now at level 31, and it's decision time as to which 5 I will go forward with (leaving a space for future additions already). The decision is proving very difficult. Ruff: always tough, but poor move set. Thorn: best special attacker and well rounded in every way, but doesn't add to dex and is a grass type. Kenda and Cassie: the toughest two psycially but both lack speed, two candidates for the one role as tank. Poporri: massive potential as a berserker, but needs to evolve. Snappy: Fast and good move set and type, but not the strongest. Rokki: Weak type and move set, but good ability.

Only my partner Oshi is garunteed to make the five. I love them all, they all have great natures and personalitys and they all have good fighting natures (hates to lose, good preserverance, etc).

Currently selected ahead of the gym are Oshi, Rokki, Poporri, Kenda and Snappy, but that doesn't look a good balance at all. Hmmm...

On a sidenote: Cecilia is hanging around in a box for now, but Simisear has surpassed his usefulness, and Yakky and Audi don't appear to have any. They are set for release after the gym.

so i guess diglett and dugtrio were inventive names.

point is, every gen has duds. and the Klink line is cool :/

Also, Magnemite was "Coil" in Japan. Japanese names aren't always incredibly creative, especially for machinery type Pokemon.

also being really lazy and made 0 progress on any nuzlocke lately. :'D
