Aerion Brightflame
Dr Chase had just finished his tea when the not so distant sound of a duel rang out in his ears like a marching band. So the interns are here. I best greet them. He walked slowly through the halls, eyes squinted to keep as much light out as possible. He appraoched the group from behind via second entrance, noticing Doctor Knight escorting the interns in. Two of them were still mid way through a duel. One of them made a exclamation against Dr Knight for lack of acknowledgement of her self proclamied skills. "I'm afriad to say that myself and Doctor Knight here will be treating you all with the same degree of respect. And in my case none until you have earned it." Chase said, making his presence known the others. He was a harsh man, but often people deserved it. And often, people learnt more from the worse expierinces compared to the better ones. "However as there are dozens of other people who would jump for this opportunity, you will treat us like we are Gods. Becuase in the eyes of the public that is what we are doing, meddling with things only Gods should." He rubbed his eyes, and blinked repeatedly finally used to the light. He was going to enjoy this "Now if you want a chance to earn that respect, you are more than welcome to. Besides, given the task at hand we will need to assess your dueling skills unless I am mistaken?" He turned to Doctor Knight for acknowledgement. Chase was more concerned with making sure it would work rather than what to do once it worked. "So, who wants the chance to get some respect?" CosmicCore
Come on, Lynn. Step forward, Lynn commanded herself. She admitted that she was slightly intimidated by this seemingly cold-hearted, superior-acting man. Who does he think he is, anyway? Lynn wondered irritably, saying he should be treated as a God? This was enough to make her brain respond to her wishes and she took a step forward. Concealing her slightly nervous look with a grin, Lynn said, "I'd love to earn some respect from you," Lynn told the Scientist sweetly. "Let's duel." Lynn went over to the Scientist and held out her hand in a friendly-enough way. Last duel was a warm-up, Lynn thought. I can't lose. I've got to try really hard to win, 'cause there's the small but real possibility I might lose both my job as an intern and my dignity.
Des HERO
“I honestly thought all of the selected Duelists to protect the world would be Professional Duelists like me,” Nathaniel replied unimpressed by the other intern (Lynn) that he didn’t know anything about but by her hot-blooded and overexcited Personality, he could instantly tell just from a glance that she wasn’t as calm and serious as he would have expected for co-workers to be like when traveling through time. ‘Perfect,’ Nathaniel thought giving a hint of a confident smirk as he viewed both of them as inferior and not as threatening to his dedicated self. “It’s just that your losing your focus a bit by being distracted by the place when we have a job to do,” he informed shrugging slightly remembering how easily both of them were so quickly distracted by how impressive the appearance of the lab is. Nathaniel was clearly impressed but he didn’t announce how awesome the lab was to the world. “So by ‘not pro material’, I am talking about you duel-wise and Personal-,” What he was saying was immediately interrupted by Dr. Chase’s entrance. “Good morning Dr. Chase,” he greeted nodding as Doctor Chase reminded him that the new interns needed to be tested. “Yes of chorse…The test is basically similar to health and safety because we aren’t going to send you to face against someone dangerous if we know you’re not ready to handle the power,” he agreed placing his black book in his pocket and grabbing a black mobile phone that he turned on and showed to everyone. “So that we can compare each evaluation and analyse them properly, I will record the duel or duels and upload them onto the lab’s computer,” he informed them giving a kind smile. “I should tell you that I don’t duel, I don’t even have my own D-Gazer…Therefore, you will have to use normal duel disks for recording to work. No pressure though,”
Yugiman64
Yuuto walked up to Nathaniel. "Hey dude, stop being a jerk. I'd beat you in less than 20 turns if we were to duel." Yuuto said cockily. Yuuto wanted to beat him so that he would see where he belonged. He then walked up to Dr. Chase. "Excuse me, sir. May we," Yuuto gestured to Nathaniel and himself, "have the first duel. I want to show this guy that he isn't a complete hotshot." Yuuto explained. He expected that Dr. Chase would agree to that, as Lynna had no partner to duel with. "I've been ready to duel since the second I got here, and am still ready now. My deck is already shuffled and is ready to be cut." Yuuto explained, hopefully backing up his reason to duel.
Aerion Brightflame
"And now all the technicalties are out of the way with, Time to start." Chase said, ignoring the interns outstreched hand. He reached into his pocket for a small black box, and setting it on the floor, activated it. With the hiss of mechanics, it unfolded and extended, creating a table in front of him. A dueling mat was built into it, and Chase laid his deck on it. He was to lazy to carry a duel disk with him wherever he went. A second intern approached, asking for the first duel. Chase simply smiled. "I have no concern how many duels go on at once. So long as Doctor Knight can get the evidence he needs. I personally will be dueling Nancy here, and as such we won't need it filmed. So go ahead and duel. It will save us valuable time." Chase turned away from the second intern. I'll try and make it quick, show her her lesson. "We will be dueling at 4000 life points, and I will be taking the first turn. Is that fine with you? After all an expert duelist like you should be able to cope." Chase shuffled his deck, and drew his opening hand, waiting for the intern to do the same. CosmicCore
That was the last straw, Dr. Chase calling Lynn 'Nancy'. "Nancy? NANCY?! Sir, prepare to get your butt kicked by an angry teen girl!" Lynn declared. She took her hand back and activated her duel disk while Dr. Chase used some odd, mechanical duel table or something. Lynn removed her deck and Graveyard from her disk and shuffled the two together, then placed it once again into the duel disk. "Because you're such a kind person," Lynn told the Scientist sarcastically, "I think you should begin our duel." Observing her opponent, Lynn concluded in her head that though the man was terribly disrespectful, he would no doubt be a fearsome opponent. Lynn prepared for the worst... Aerion Brightflame
"Do kindly remember you are talking to someone who decides whether you keep your job or not Iris." If she reacts that badly to Nancy, this could be quite fun. Chase drew his card, calculating the most logical course of action. "I set two cards. And then, becuase my Hand is smaller than yours I can special summon Stealth Rogue Namakruai (1500/750)." He slammed the card on the table, and in a whirl of lights, a warrior learned in the forbidden arts rose, katana raised at the intern. His 'duel table' as he called it contained holigraphic projectors stolen from his old duel disk. I "And next, I summon Stealth Rogue Beast Tamer. (1600/0)." A second warrior rose next the the first, a black mechanical wolf with ice blue eyes rose next to him, a chain leash connected to it. "Beast tamers effect. I tribute Namakruai, and you have to send a card from your hand to the grave." The wolf pounced on the first warrior, breaking in down into a blue light, which then shot out as a spear of energy towards the interns hand, scewring one card. "Turn end. Make your turn count, i don't think you'll have many more Iris."
Des HERO
Nathaniel was starting to get annoyed by the opposing Yuuto’s own ignorance. “Do I look like a person who would run Final Countdown and stall for twenty turns? No,” he responded losing his calmness as he gave Yuuto a cold stare. Then he carefully placed both his suitcases on the floor and took the deck out of his D-Pad that was in his belt. “I originally thought I should toy with any Opponent’s I face by using one of my many decks that I use in the Pro League…Since you want to boast about think you can actually defeat someone out of your league, fine here’s your opportunity to face my original and undefeated deck,” Shuffling his deck rapidly on the table, Nathaniel gave a hint of a smirk. “You can go first,” he offered as he knew that would give him the advantage of knowing Yuuto’s strategy and countering it. “Same with Dr. Chase and…Yeah I was that late not to know both of your names…Nevermind her name, we will both duel with 4000 Life Points,” he explained placing his now shuffled deck onto a nearby table and initiating the duel while both Duelists kept memory of each of their Life Points (Nathaniel: 4000 Life Points). “Now you will realize your mistake,” ‘Great, how am I going to record both duels with one mobile phone,’ Dr. Knight thought frowning for a second as he tried to make his decision. The chances were that Dr. Chase wouldn’t be facing Roba if Roba is going through time a lot so he went to record the duel between Yuuto and Nathaniel because of that reason. “Good luck everyone,” he smiled again as he started it onto record.
CosmicCore
Just ignore him, Lynn thought as Dr. Chase taunted her by calling her names. She narrowed her eyes threateningly as she selected a random card in her hand and placed it in the Graveyard. "Very well, then. My move. I draw!" Lynn placed her hand on her deck and drew a card. "I'll start off by activating the field spell Umi!" The ground that Dr. Chase and Lynn were standing on now showed an endless sea, with holographic waves passing underneath their feet. "Now, I activate Dian Keto The Cure Master to increase my life points by 1000!" An elderly woman appeared from the card and sang a chant that, after finishing, increased her life points as said before. "I'll set a face down Spell or Trap card and then a face-down monster card." The two cards appeared on the field in their respective zones. "I end my turn." Because Lynn couldn't resist it, she said, "Make your turn count, I don't think you'll have many more Harold."
Yugiman64
Yuuto sat down and took his deck out of his duel disk and put it onto the briefcase. "You think your deck is so unbeatable? I still think I can beat it in twenty turns or less, and if it takes more than 20 of my turns, I'll surrender." Yuuto explained as he drew his five cards and a sixth to start off the duel. He looked at his hand and smirked. "I'll start things off by setting two face down cards and summoning Silent Swordsman LV0 in attack mode. (1000/1000)" The boyish warrior in a trench coat appeared and took a battle position. "Now, I'll end my turn so that you get at least a small chance." Yuuto taunted and looked at the field feeling very confidant."
Des HERO
“I’ve told you, it is clearly impossible for the duel to last 20 turns with OTKs and FTKs power rising in the game,” Nathaniel reminded Yuuto as he then saw Yuuto Normal Summon his Silent Swordsman LV0. “Quite an old and outdated monster in comparison to my other Opponent’s in the Professional League who literally Xyz spammed the field in their first turn, but whatever I draw,” Nathaniel drew his sixth card and smirked as he got just the right hand to pull off one of his signature combos. Even though he knew exactly what he needed to do, he closely analysed his hand unlike Yuuto who he viewed as reckless along with Lynn. “So much in my hand and so little time…” his voice trailed on as he continued to stare at his hand. “Hmm…I will set three cards Face Down,” he explained placing his three cards carefully on the table. “I end my turn…Confused yet, I did the most basic move possible,” his smirk widened into a clear smirk. “Two out of the twenty is already complete, now moving to three with your turn,” he mimicked another taunt back at Yuuto, but he already knew that the duel would end before the mental countdown would end. Aerion Brightflame
Chase smirked as the intern gave him a name. She's fiesty, I'll give her that. He counted her hand being at one, and his was at two. Perfect. "So, Umi. Not any of the improved versions? How quaint. I draw. And since that gives me a bigger hand than yours, Beast Tamer gains 500 ATK points." Blue flames engulfed the wolf, fighting off the ocean surrounding it. "Next, face down War in the Shadows. Beast Tamer lashes out in the darkness, destroying your set spell or trap. And then, I can choose to send the last card in your hand to the grave, or draw. I pick the latter." Both the wolf and its owner burst apart into streams of darkness, lashing outwards at the set card, smothering it. Chase drew, and placed Beast Tamer in the grave. "Have you worked out my deck strategy yet. A good duelist would have by now." He looked over his four card hand now, and again thought of the best strategy. And the one that should test her the most. "Then, I Summon Shadow Rogue Maruan. (1700/800)." A third warrior, clad all in black, with a blade attachted a chain for a weapon being spun above its head. "When Maruan deals damage and I control a second Shadow Rogue, you send a card from your hand to the grave." The warrior threw its weapon at the set monster. "Attack and destroy her set monster. And that will end my turn." He was confident the duel would be in his favour from the next turn. Particulalrly given what was in his hand.
CosmicCore
Lynn crossed her arms and stared at the field before her. Her cards were being crushed one by one, and there was barely anything she could do about it. After performing what Dr. Chase's cards commanded her to do, she drew a card from her deck. "I'll summon my favorite card, Warrior of Atlantis!" Lynn shouted. The card appeared super-sized on the field and out of it popped the Warrior of Atlantis. "I've had this card since I was four," Lynn told Dr. Chase. "Not that you care, but I just thought I'd let you know." Lynn placed her remaining card onto the field in the spell and trap card zone. "Now, I attack your Maruan with my Warrior!" The Warrior Of Atlantis lunged forward punched straight through the monster, shattering it into millions of bright shards that dissipated in the air after a few moments. "I end my turn," Lynn stated. Yugiman64
"My turn. Draw!" Yuuto exclaimed. He drew a new card and added it to his hand. "Since it's my standby phase, My swordsman gains 500 attack and become Silent Swordsman LV1(1500/1000)." Yuuto explains. "Now, I summon my warriors brother. Silent Magician LV0." Yuuto says as the red cloaked magician appears. "Now, I activate my facedown card. Heavy Storm! This card lets me destroy all spell and trap cards on the field." A giant storm crashed across the field. "Now witness the storm that will render your field one hundred percent open for a direct attack, unless you have a hand effect. I doubt there's anything you can do about this card."
Aerion Brightflame
Chase had found Reese's apperance an annoynace, preventing his Maruan from clearing her field left her with breathing room. Atlantis's arrival only increased the irritation, and Chase aknowledge his opponent for that. (Chase 4000-3600). Before her turn was over, Chase played his second face down, Fires of Doomsday, and two tokens formed of unholy flame appeared on his field. "My card gives me two tokens, which can only be used for the summoning of a dark monster. And that's exactly what i will do, after I celar your field with heavy storm." In the wake of the storm, whcih Chase noticed happening in both duels, the two tokens burst apart and in there place rose something much more fearsome. A towering black scaled dragon roared, shaking off iron shakles, and breathing steam over the now weaker warrior of Atlantis. "Diabolos, King of the Abyss. (2800/1000). Destory warrior of Atlantis, infernal flames." Blue flames spurted from its jaws, engulfing the warrior and consuming it. (2800-1900=900 damage). Chase still had the irritating Reece to deal with. For now he simply set a card. "Before you draw, I can look at the top card of your deck, and put it at the top or the bottom. My deck is falling into place. Your every move is my control, even the cards you will draw." He laughed, the intern was weaker than he had expected, but she had still damaged him. Better than most efforts. "To put it simply, if the card isn't a monster, or its a monster that would bounce cards, or affect my field in any way. It goes to the bottom of your deck." Des HERO
Nathaniel chuckled when Yuuto activated Heavy Storm of all cards. “You are an idiot for believing a Professional Duelist to be a pushover like you, I activate my Vortex Wormhole – Black!” Nathaniel shouted revealing the middle card out of his two Face Downs, a Trap Card with a black hole with machinery that would drag the card into its destruction, if they were using actual holograms. “If you activate a card that would destroy two or more cards on my side of the field, in that case three…Then the cards effect is negated and destroyed,” Nathaniel explained smirking as he would remember all the times he would totally ruin his Opponent’s plan with this. “Furthermore… I can shuffle a card from my hand into my deck and draw a card,” he explained dumping one of his dead draws of a card into his deck before shuffling it. Then he drew a card and fanned out his three cards. “You are reckless trying to get rid of even your own Face Down, but whatever its safe thanks to me along with my two Face Downs I will activate later in your turn to banish you into your oblivion for thinking you can challenge someone out of your league…You obviously have something else to do during your own turn that I will counter,” Nathaniel calmed down as he stared at the three cards in his hand. He still had another defense even if Yuuto actually managed to take out his two Face Downs. CosmicCore
Lynn held her hands to her face as the deadly winds of Heavy Storm rid the field of all spell and trap cards. When the storm had died down, there was now an ever bigger threat: a colossal, vicious dragon. Lynn could do nothing but watch as it engulfed her beloved Warrior of Atlantis with scorching flames, destroying it. "I'm sorry, my friend," Lynn mourned her fallen creature. It was a little comforting, however, to know that her Reese The Ice Mistress remained unharmed as Dr. Chase ended his turn. "The card you see is Negate Attack, and as you said, a card like this will go to the bottom of my deck." Lynn placed the card in the proper place. "I draw!" Lynn yelled, determined to try with all her might to win this duel. "I activate Monster Reborn from my hand!" she proclaimed. "It's time to bring back my good friend, Warrior Of Atlantis!" The formerly defeated monster reappeared on the field, only in defense position. "It's good to see you again," Lynn told her card, even though there would be no reply. "I conclude my turn," she called to Dr. Chase.
Yugiman64
Yuuto looked at the field. "I'll finish things off by setting one card and ending my turn." 'Fourteen turns left. This duel will definitely be over by then, and I will be victorious.' Yuuto thrust his pointer finger toward Nathaniel. "It's your turn, and the second you draw a card, my Silent Magician will become Silent Magician LV1 and gain 500 attack points.(1500/1000) So, make your next move, which might be your last." Yuuto looked at the field and was satisfied, so he started planning out a few strategies for his next turn and for Nathaniel's turn. Then he looked Nathaniel in the eye. "Your turn. I think you should go before I beet you in half the time."
Aerion Brightflame
"An amazing draw... And you waste it on bringing that card back? Oh boy Joy. I'm going to have teaching you to duel like a proper duelist." Chase drew, enjoying the fact there was someone who didn't break down crying after three minutes of his rants. He looked over his now two card hand, and worked out his plan. One more turn and the game is mine. "I activate Dark eruption, returning the DARK atribute Stealth Rogue Namakurai to my hand, who I then Summon." The katana armed warrior took its place next to the towering dragon. It immediately rushed towards Warrior of Atlantis, slashing its Katana across its chest, and breaking it into pixels. Chase smiled briefly as it did, enoying the feeling. "Your favourite monster gone twice in one game. You reaally like making it hard on yourself don't you. Its not a good habit to have in this line of work." The last card in his hand was usless, and with nothing else to do, he ended his turn. I need a level 4. Draw that and I win.
CosmicCore
"As if I'd want to bring back one of your wretched monsters!" Lynn retorted when Dr. Chase displayed his disapproval of her move. "I duel with cards that I love, and I don't care about winning. I only care about having fun!" Lynn determinedly drew a card from her deck when it was her turn. Looking at it, she smiled. Oh, the fun times I had playing this card in duels, Lynn reminisced. She calmly placed her card face down in defense position. The large projection of the card came into existence on the field, as well. "That is all. I end my turn," Lynn said, barely audible. Well, it was fun, but I know that on his next turn, I'll probably lose. Lynn noticed she was slightly hunched over and straightened her spine, holding up her chin a bit. I was overreacting before, she thought. I won't lose my dignity. My job, maybe, but not my dignity.
Aerion Brightflame
Chase couldn't stop himself from smiling at her defiance. "And you think I don't? Dueling is one of the few things in life i can't calculate with logic. And thats where my love of it comes from. To try and understand the logic." He drew his card, and was thankful for a level four. It ends now. "I summon Stealth Rogue Hakagurai. (1500/1200). Who gains 400 attack since my hand is bigger. (1500-1900)." A shinobi leapt into play next to the other warrior, a dagger in each hand. He had to keep the card in hand, in hand. "Namakruai's effect. I mill the top card of my deck, if its a Shadow Rogue monster like so i can draw a card." He sent the card to the grave, and then slammed its replacement onto the table. Nobleman of Crossout. Your face down monster is spilt in two and banished. If its a flip effect, we both banish all copies of it." He stayed montionless, he had no such cards in his deck. "Now overlay level 4." The twin warrior broke apart into, purple lights which descended into a red spiral. A second dragon howled, rising from it Shadows danced around its skelletal form. It took its place next to Diabolos. "Shadow Rogue Shadow Dragon arisea. (2200/1200). And as my hand is larger than yours, it gains 400 ATK. Destroy Reece, and then Diabolos attack directly." Shadow dragon flew forwards, its claw raised and swiped down at the female sorceror. The claws shattered her into pixels. Diabolos breathed it blue flames over the intern. (-2800). And then finally, Chase flipped his face down card. "Call of the Haunted, Beast Tamer is resurected. You have no cards left to play. It's over." Chase gathered his cards up, and pressed the button that caused the table to refold. "But relax. You can keep your job. Think over your moves more carefully and you might become a pretty good duelist. Not as good as me Molly but still." He said trying to be reasuring. For some reason, she didn't get on his nerves as much as he expected.

“Just kidding,” Nathaniel chuckled placing one of the cards he hasn’t moved in his hand and if Yuuto looked carefully, it was the card he have drawn by Vortex Wormhole – Black’s effect. “I had my needed card in my hand since I began my turn; to be honest I just used that to get dead draws back into my deck... Anyway, now that I control a Face Up ‘Vortex Trooper’, I can Special Summon my Vortex Wormhole Squad in Attack Position,” he smirked placing down a monster card containing a bunch of drones that several wormholes surrounded (600/0)(Level 3), “I hope you notice that I have 2 level 3 monsters on the field, I create an Overlay Network!” Nathaniel shouted placing his two monsters on top of each other as he slammed down a new black Xyz monster that showed a gigantic butterfly robot with a stream of rockets all across them (1200/300)(Rank 3)(Xyz Material: 2). “Rise! Vortex Macro Drone-Spy in Attack Position!” he explained drawing a card making his hand three once again. “Also Vortex Wormhole Squad’s effect allows me to draw a card, once I detach it...Making my Banished Zone even bigger,” (Xyz Material: 2→1)(Banished Zone: 3→4 cards) “My arguable trump may look like nothing to you, but to builds up the Banished Zone…Because when the monsters used for Xyz Summoning it are ‘Vortex’ monsters, both of us must banish a monster in our hands or take 600 damage,” Nathaniel explained showing from his hand, Battle Fader that he placed into the Banished Zone making it contain five monsters, six if Yuuto obeyed his sinature's effect instead of losing Life Points. “I activate Vortex Macro Drone-Spy’s effect, by detaching a Xyz Material I can banish 1 card on your side of the field and inflict 200 damage to your Life Points. I select the card you later set,” Nathaniel explained as his grin widened (Yuuto: 3700→3500 Life Points)(Xyz Material: 1→0) as not only he had control, his Banished Zone contained seven cards in it (Eight if you decided not to take the 600 Life Points by banishing a monster in your hand). Nathaniel looked at everything; he had two cards in his hand and his Vortex Macro Drone-Spy while Yuuto only had his Face Down, the one he would have destroyed if Nathaniel didn’t stop it. “You better hope your Face Down isn’t a bluff, Vortex Macro Drone-Spy, will attack you directly, any counter?” he wondered still calm and confident (Yuuto: 3500→2300 Life Points)(I think you are going to counter this). “I will set one of my cards that I drew and end my turn,”
Life Points: 4000 Deck: 30 Hand: 1 Monster Zone: Vortex Macro Drone-Spy Spell/Trap Zone: 1 Face Down, Macro Cosmos Banished Zone: Six (Or seven between both of us)

2 Level 3 monster If all the Xyz Materials used for this Xyz Summon are “Vortex” monsters: both players must banish 1 monster in their hand or take 600 damage. Randomflyingobjects
Dr. Underwood It was safe to say that Dr. Underwood was a little more that overwhelmed. He'd completely forgotten that the interns existed, he was supposed to remember all these names, a couple duels started and one had already ended, and the worst part: he left his box of donuts open on the other side of the room. Hopefully, nobody noticed and he could casually hide them under his desk. If not; there would be a major problem. He was about to make his way to his desk when he heard a knocking at the door. Leo Leo was knocking on the lab's door, awaiting a response. One of the scientists stepped up and opened the door, looking very confused. "You're an intern?" he asked gently. "Huh? What?" Leo took a step back. "Isn't today the tour day? They've been putting signs up everywhere, and I just thought... you know, I could get a look inside the lab." "I wasn't aware that anybody was coming here today in the first place, but I haven't heard about the free tour. Are you sure it said this lab?" the man responded. Leo stepped back, sniffling. "Oh, my mistake, sir. It said the zoo, but I love labs... and, well, I guess I got excited for nothing." He sighed. Dr. Underwood The boy was young, and he felt pretty bad for the kid. "I'll tell you what, you can come in, but don't touch anything." The kid beamed, and Dr. Underwood's heart got melted. This kid seemed like a nice guy. Maybe a vital part of stopping Roba. He gestured for the kid to step inside. Leo What a fool. Falling for Leo's disguise made this man seem foolish. Leo reminded himself not to underestimate this man, however. After all, he was one of the scientists. He glanced around, seeing a duel in session, and he walked over, watching a reletively weak Xyz monster hammer into a girl's life points directly. He continued watching, noticing that one of the scientists was taping the duel on his phone. This must be the contact Roba told him about. He shot a look at the scientist holding the phone, attempting to inform him that he was with Roba as well.
CosmicCore
Lynn sighed in defeat. She witnessed her Penguin Soldier, the last of her defenses, vanish from the field. Then, she tried with all her might to stay standing as the final attack was dealt directly to her life points. Eventually, she couldn't bare the force of the attack any longer and was blown back a couple of feet. Lynn stopped moving, and then collapsed to her knees as the remainder of her life points disappeared. She took a moment to regain her breath before managing to get back up again. "Well... I have one thing to say," Lynn told Dr. Chase as she slowly inched her way towards him. "I lost. That is a fact. You beat me. You won. And yet, I had fun. The need to draw a card that could turn the tables was unbearable big. The injuries I sustained due to the powerful battles that took place was something I didn't exactly enjoy. However, in conclusion... I had fun." Lynn made her duel disk dispense her graveyard and she combined it with her deck. "I may have studied the game thoroughly, but I lost because I didn't have as much experience as you older people have. I guess the ability to duel well doesn't come from study, but from experience." She paused before finishing her speech. "I learn from every battle, and that's all I can do. Learn and learn, or rather through fight after fight, so I can get better at dueling. But...no matter what the outcome of the duel, though, I'll always love my cards." Lynn stood straight once again. She even smiled. "And that... is all I have to say." She extended her arm. "Good game. And I hope you had as much of a fine time dueling as I did."
Aerion Brightflame
Chase smirked at the speech, but resisted the urge to insult here any more. She'd gone through enough. He took her outstreched hand shaking it. Immedately after he let go he wiped his hand on his coat. "Good game. And there is also the fact you were dueling a deck which cuts out every single option you could possibly have, so you really shoudn't blame yourself to much. And understandin theory means nothing. I know that better than most." He wasn't going to tell her about his obbsessive nature. He didn't tell anyone. "But do understand here Rachel, I am still going to treat ya the same as i did before. Or else all the others will start moaning. And thats a whole thing I can't bear to deal with." He turned away, looking at the other duel. It seemed to be devloping well for the extremely over confident one. "But I know that you can deal with it, and trust that you know it will make you a better person by the end". He checked his watch, wondering if he should slip away to double check the theories and the data. He had to make sure today ran perfectly.
