Johan Liebert
You see, i want to be a writer [possibly], and i need help because i'm 13 years old! I need help, I've read wiki's, e how, etc., but here's my writing so far: The Nightmare Realm: Where Your Worst Nightmares Come True!Written by: Aaron Arlington PrologueHave you ever heard a bedtime story about a fake reality, or a dream? Probably not, if I were to think logically. Surprisingly, I have heard bedtime stories about fictional dreams. For example, The Dream Book. This book tells you about the power of dreams and how to tell whether it was a dream of E.S.P., or extrasensory perception. I read this book about seven years ago, when I was six, and I can’t remember too much about it. My point is that the difference between a dream and reality is that a dream can stretch out reality. Furthermore, dreams are complicated to understand today, but in the future, I believe that we will invent a machine that either a) will use a person’s brain waves to allow dreams to come into reality or B) be able to project what a person is dreaming on a futuristic television set. Again those are just my predictions, and may or may not be taken seriously. I respect your opinions, so you should respect mine too. Anyway, I will say one thing before you flip to the next page: Be warned, this book may be too intense, scary, or dramatic for those who have never read a teenage-level horror book. That is why I recommend you be at least 13 years old before flipping the page. I also enhanced the font size for others who don’t have great eyesight. Oh, also, one more thing, do not take this book too seriously, this is purely meant for entertainment purposes. Chapter 1: The Past There was once a time when you could have nightmares, wake up, and realize it was just a dream. Then, you would forget about it later, and that’s the end of it. This book will tell you what happens when you tamper with a dream-to-reality-device. It all started on June 20, 2012. It was a very humid and sunny day, with no rain for weeks. Middle School has been over for two weeks, and it’s summer break. Me and my best friends James and Brian had just finished riding our bikes, hanging out, and playing a game of non-tackle football. After we finished, and were on our way to our houses, someone yelled “Hey Aaron, wait up!” It was another great friend of mine, Chino, who moved to the house across from mine one month ago, and was born in Japan. Honestly, I’m surprised that a foreign teenager knew how to speak English so well! I replied with “Hey Chino, come on over here, long time no see!” Chino stopped for a moment to catch his breath, and, with a happy smile on his face, told me that he just got back from a vacation at San Francisco, California.
