It really has been some time since a spelling mistake was made in MtG. Was it 9th edition, I think?
Lonk
By the time you would already be able to cast this card, your opponent will have a nice control of the field.

Flame Dragon
I'd rather spend 1 to make a player discard their hand. But that player would have to be me.
Better be using Blue-Black control and topdeck that Devastation Tide. Otherwise, that is going to be a total of 12 mana used up indefinitely in a deck where Mana is important.
1 CMC discards usually have your opponent discard a card. Though, Appetite for Brains is useful in that regard if you want to kill off some major threats before your opponent can play them.
Oh, Appetite for Brains is pretty awful. Wizards casually decided to design it to 'counter Titans'. Which it's a pretty awful counter to. Honestly, it just doesn't help you win in the short-term. If you're running some sort of Black Attrition deck (which I doubt, because they will die to a win condition eventually), then you're better off being offensive.
