[i]Interesting, so people are starting to discover the new duel style. Even so, that Athena seems to be discovering her Drive ability, I wonder what this Chroma girl can do then.[/i] Occupied by her own musings, Aqua looked up supprised to see the duel progress while she was. Deciding to join the party herself, Aqua stood up in the centre of the fountain, and walked forward to emerge, catching some supprised stares from the spectators. Completely unbothered by them, she continued walking forward until she was at the very edge of the same fountain, with a better view of the arena now, and sat back down on the white stones surrounding the fountain, continuing to watch the duel in silence.

"You honestly believe I'd let you? I activate the continuous trap card Bubble Bringer!" Athena countered, and a bunch of bubbles began to cover up her side of the field. "While it's active, Level 4 monsters and higher monsters cannot declare an attack! Of course, I don't really know what the level of your Rush is so...in any case, I'll activate my other trap Dimensional Prison against Aquamarine!"

Unfortunately, she couldn't do anything to save her A Legendary Ocean, and watched as it was swept away by tornadoes.

"...Is that all?"

Aquamarine flew towards the Dragon Riders, only to fly into a portal instead. "Aw, damn. Well, none of my monsters are level 3 or lower, so I guess there's nothing left for me to do... I have to end my turn here."
Lucille eyed the flute. Getting to play that flute depended solely on her getting through the next turn. And she surely didn't want to make a free dress for anyone, especially a stranger. But completing this duel might let her log out, but she wanted to win, just to be absolutely sure that she's get what she want. With three monsters on her side of the field and one face-down, she had a decent set of defenses to help her stay alive.

"My turn." Athena then stated, and drew her next card. Her energy seemed to follow along too (Drive: 6). Not only that, but she seemed amused by the next card she had drawn, but at the same time it was a little useless. "Now I activate the second effect of my trap card! By sending it to the grave, I'm allowed to revive both of my Deep Sea Divas from the grave, though with their effects negated...!"

Then, her faceup continuous trap card disappeared into a portal of water, where the two Deep Sea Divas then emerged, singing. Horribly.

"Now then...are you ready? Allow me to show you a [b]true[/b] Sea Serpent, unlike your silly blue marines! I tribute both Deep Sea Divas!!!!!" And she thrust both of her arms forward.
[center][i][color=blue]"He who dwells in the deeps and creates tsunamis that none ever survive, come forth from the endless sands of the seas!!! [b]Advent! Levia-Dragon - Daedalus!!!!!"[/color][/b][/i][/center]

As she chanted, her two singing divas were swept into a whirlpool into the air, which then started to materialize into a deepsea creature, a sea serpent, a monster that can only cause destruction, one known as none other than Levia-Dragon - Daedulus! (ATK 2600)

"You were smart in destroying my Legendary Ocean, which also counts as Umi." Athena pointed out, smiling. "For the effect of Daedalus would've allowed me, by tributing the ocean, to cause a tsunami that would've swept away your entire field. It's only too bad, huh? But it doesn't matter since...it appears as though I'm gonna win! Sort of! I'll switch Dragon Riders in defense first...and now! Go, Mermaid Archer, attack directly! And Daedalus, [b]go destroy her Rush!!![/b] This duel is mine!"

"This duel isn't yours just yet! I activate Threatening Roar! All of your attacks stop in their tracks!" Neo Chroma Rush grew to three times its size, and roared. The force of the sound caused Athena's monsters to stop and move back to their field.
"If that's it, I'll take my turn." With three monsters and no backrow, and Athena's Daedalus towering with the highest ATK on the field, it would take a miracle draw to turn this around. "I draw." Hesitantly, she looked at her card.
[i]Grey...[/i] she thought, [i]This will do nicely.[/i]
"I summon [url='http://i.imgur.com/ELxLa.png']Neutra Chroma - Grey the Uncolored[/url]!" The gray being appeared on the field in a swirl of colorlessness. "I can Special Summon him if I control 2 Chroma monsters. And once per turn, he gains the ATK of a monster I control. And I'll take Ogre's 2200! (Grey ATK: 2300) Now attack Mermaid Archer!" The being transformed into a sword, and stabbed the pearl that the archer was sitting on. (Battle Damage: 300)
"Now go, Orange the Cyber, destroy that archer for good!" Bolts of orange electricity shot from the monster, and destroyed the archer. (Battle Damage: 800)
"Neo Chroma Rush, finish this duel once and for all! Go, Neon Flash!" With a bright flash of light, Rush flew through Daedalus and attacked Athena with 2000 ATK of damage.
"And that's the game."

The girls had been able to counter each other's attacks, and several would have finished the duel. Lucille seemed to be holding up well especially after she was able to summon that Neo Chroma Rush of hers, this also could have ended the duel, but that girl, Athena, she countered with a Bubble Bringer Trap Card.

"That could cause some problems," said Cole. Then she activated her Dimensional Prison getting rid of Aquamarine. On the net turn the girl brought out the legendary Levia Dragon-Daedalus,"Oh crap," he said remarking on the huge dragon in front of Athena. In the end though Lucille was able to pull out a win.

"Woohoo!"Cole called out,"well I guess Lucille gets to see a little flute action."

[i][b]"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo[/b]oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo[/i]ooooooooooooooooooh well." Athena sighed as her Life Points dropped to zero. It was partially because she had drawn a bad hand, and partially because she had never went up against Chromas before. In fact, she hadn't dueled much at all, as it was apparently a requirement for the company she was working with, the company that had her survey this world. She had a good deck and good cards, but for one...

Her Daedalus had a really annoyed look on its face as it watched their opponent bypass it. Its face was trying to say [i]COWARD! HOW DARE YOU SIMPLY ATTACK HER DIRECTLY AND LEAVE ME BE----[/i] before disappearing along with all the other virtual monsters.

And for another, her inexperience and bad hand. Oh well. Her dueling equipment turned off, and Athena held out her flute in defeat. "Fine. Play it. You win."

The flute was what defined Athena, was what had given her a purpose after all those years of nothing and what had given her, um, 'friends'. It was a powerful and durable flute unlike any other, probably unbreakable no matter what you tried, although it was played and had the exact same holes as a normal one. When it was played, it sounded like a normal flute, but had an aura of mystery around it, an aura somehow similar to a hydra, an aura of a dark lake lost in the vastness of space... meh, she had never managed to find that lake.

And now she was handing it over. Well, it was only for a few minutes so what harm could that do?

Athena hung her head down as she held it out.

Seeing the duel finish, Aqua stood up and walked over from her seat at the fountain. "That was an interesting duel to watch, and though you did lose, the field did swing different ways with each battle phase. It was an exciting duel to watch, so you shouldn't be so annoyed about that." Aqua smiled, before turning to look towards her opponent. "You should be happy with yourself too, you managed to successfully win a duel in difficult circumstances, what with a new game mode you didn't know about and a strong opponent such as her." Smiling to both, she found herself watching the flute closely, waiting to see just what would happen when Neon Palette went to take it to play.

Lucille picked up the flute and moved her fingers over the proper holes. "Hold on," she said as she pushed a button on her belt. Her outfit suddenly changed into a simple mint green dress, and flowing blond hair. She put the flute up to her mouth and began to play.
The song was a vigorous and happy tune, and she danced around and twirled as she played. Her movements were mesmerizing, and the crowd couldn't keep their eyes off of her. Her feet hardly touched the ground. As she danced, however, she and the flute began to glow. Lucille felt some of her cards begin to pulse along with the melody.
A few more minutes passed, and after three different songs, she finished dancing. She was visibly tired, but her smile distracted from that. The crowd roared. The glow finally faded, and Lucille felt ecstatic as she looked among the cheering individuals.
"Music," she said to herself, "Just like art, can brighten even the darkest of days." She walked over to Athena, and returned her flute. "This is a strange instrument you have... But I thank you for the chance to play it. I haven't danced like that in a long time. I welcome you to come to my shop if you're ever in need of a new outfit."
Lucille then looked at Bass, who still stood atop the gate. "Hey! I won! Now fix my problem!" she yelled, projecting her voice over the still cheering crowd.

[center][color=#ff0000]"That duel was excellent! If you noticed, Athena Activated her Drive Ability in duel!"[/color][/center]

[center]He stepped closer to Athena, he had a warm and relaxing smile on his face that could even make the most disappointed people happy.[/center]
[center]When he reaches her he puts his left hand on her shoulder.[/center]

[center][color=#ff0000]"Unfortunately for you though...."[/color][/center]

[center]His eyes widen, and his once warm smile becomes warped into that of a maniac's[/center]

[center]He takes his right hand and pierces Athena's chest, slowly sucking the life out of her, drive by drive. His hand firmly gripped on her shoulder.[/center]

Mactastic watched the entire duel its twist and turns were probably amusing for someone who understood what was going on. He however did not, though the girl playing flute was quite promising. Men liked that whole talent back story. Its uplifting properties alone could be its own product in and of itself. This one definitely had potential and was worth looking into. He actually decided to proceed forward through the crowd of women when all of a sudden it happened. The death drive his face was shocked because though he didn't know what those words meant, well of course he could guess, he definitely recognized the look of a woman in pain. Well its not like she was any useful but still its the principle of the matter. [color=#800080]What in the name of Pimpdom is going on? [/color]he said as he just looked at the helpless girls just watching in horror. Yeah there were a lot of people ripe for pimpin in this game he thought as he shook his head.

But just then Mactastic smelt a smell a weird combination of beeswax, honey, and other natural ingredients. While he was surprised that he was even able to smell in a virtual world he got lost in that thought for a second his consciousness came back like a tragic memory and he knew that sent. [color=#800080]OH...GOD...NO!! [/color][color=#a52a2a][b]NO YOU DON'T [/b][/color]came a yell from one end of the stage.[color=#800080] [/color]At that moment rushing to the stage from the side where there was less people came a striking black figure and she immediately made her way through the crowd and up to the stage and gave Mr. Base a flying knee to the face in hoping to get him away from the owner of the flute. Mactastic now saw it was his sister Clarissa Blackwell taking to the stage. He continued to rush forward out of pure instinct till he made his way to the stage it might be time to settle this sibling feud once and for all. Well until this whole game business is sorted out.

Before Lucille could return the flute, the apparently-game moderator revealed himself to be homicidal, and pierced Athena's chest. In a way, she wasn't surprised. The company had warned her, by taking the job, that this fate might've met her. She quickly lost the strength to move, let alone push away the man's hand firmly gripped on his shoulder.

"------Ah."

It was too bad. She'd have to let that girl who played Chromas keep the flute. In her current condition, she could do nothing with it herself. It was just a shame, really, if nothing else. She could do nothing about the right hand that pierced her chest. It had also managed to rip a small part of her outfit, letting some of it peel off by itself and reveal her chest - at least, what was left of it.

"----Ah."

It was only too bad, but then again, her husband probably has never been to this virtual world. And she should've known the minute she found out about souls being connected to the world that something was wrong, that she should have stayed away. Straightaway her drives began to disappear, one by one. It was honestly too bad.

"Ah."

She closed her eyes for a bit, before opening them again at her opponent, Lucille, with an oddly amused smile that told her to keep the flute. It was a shame that she couldn't get her vengeance on that creepy guy nearby, complaining about some chair, but that was life.

"All men...are like this, aren't they...?" She asked, a rhetorical question, recalling the memory about her homicidal husband. How had she ever gotten to fall in love with such a hellbent maniac in the first place? And why had she bothered to chase him?

She kept her oddly amused smile as her eyes drooped down, and as her drives went all the way to zero.

Jigoku Glared at Bass as she watched him take one of the girl's Drive, She clenched her fist in absolute anger, She frustratingly wondered about how the hell to save that girl from the rather Malicious Game Master until, Although Jigoku herself did not notice the glowing on her heart and in her Right hand, Nox and Himura did, and Nox was the only one that knew what it meant, She thought [i][color=#4b0082]"That glow... It's a part of Miss Jigoku's other self... The 4th Soul... But could that Mean...?" [/color][/i]Nox Noticed that Jigoku seemed to know of what to do, as if this ability was instinctive, She started to aim the fingers of her right hand at the poor girl being Drive Molested by the Game Master. [acronym='Fitting, Since 'Jigoku' means 'Hell' in Japanese']Her Mindscape contained harsh images of the Red Hot Chains of Hell Piercing the hearts of Souls and dragging them back down[/acronym] as both her heart and her pointer and Middle finger of her right hand was shining brightly, This likely got the Game Master's Attention... But by the time he would have turned to look at the source of the light, it would be too late, A Red Chain fired from Jigoku's Fingers, Aiming right at Athena's Heart

"Oh my god what is going on!" Cole screamed on terror at what the moderator was doing. A minute ago Lucille had just been playing the girl's, who he had identified as Athena, flute and now a moderator had pierced Athena's chest and her drives where slowly dropping to zero.

"Somebody help her!" Cole in a panic rushed forward in an attempt to save Athena from the crazed moderator, but noticed something out of the corner of his eye. A black woman jumped and attacked the moderator with a flying kick to the face.

"Oh this can't get weirder can it?"

[center]A Spherical Barrier surrounded Bass and his Victim.[/center]

[center][color=#800000]"You're going to have to do better than that, Clarissa"[/color][/center]

[center]He let out a maniacal laugh as his aduience watched in horror.[/center]

[center][color=#800000]"There is nothing you can do to stop me...in here...I AM GOD"[/color][/center]

[center]Suddenly a loud thundering crash pierces through the barrier and and reveals a burning chain that latches itself to Athena's Heart.[/center]

[center]Bass ceases his attack and stares in shock as his eyes are drawn slowly to the other end of the chain.[/center]

[center]It didn't seem like the chain was fully formed yet but he was paralyzed at the shock that someone could penetrate his barrier in this realm.[/center]

"Wha- wha- wha- wha- wha- wha...?"

As Athena thought her consciousness was about to disappear, and her mission turn futile, she suddenly found a red chain wrapping itself around her heart, coming from the very girl she had earlier derided as evil and heartless. [i]Jeez. That's the sort of thing my ex-husband would've done more or less,[/i] she remarked in her thoughts. [i]I wonder if they're related, him and her...[/i] Kept within the world of the living, she took a breath of relief, although her body was still ridiculously weak. It felt like it was running on somebody else's life force, probably that Jigoku's...

So her life was depending on the red chain. As soon as it had wrapped itself around her heart and prevented her from death, she ran through the pierced barrier and away from Bass, in a desperate attempt to continue living...!

Clarissa seeing that the barrier was pierced and the flute girl trying to run for her life with that chain attached to her she decided to attack the Drive Master once again while he was distracted and thus giving the flute girl more chances to escape. She went in for another kick at the drive master while he would be dealing with that attack though Big Daddy Mactastic in a weird sense of family unity decided to take a swing at his feet with the mighty pimp cane. This combo should be enough to knock some sense into the Drive Master or even better just plain beat him. Though Mactastic didn't particularly like the thought of helping his sister he definitely like the thought of watching women being subject to the life and death whims of some nerd in a video game. This was truly not pimpin' at all. Clarissa was clearly upset that this safe haven for women turned out to be one giant trap to suck out souls...or something of that nature. Such horrible acts were worse than her brothers which was no small feat.

[center]It could be heard from every direction imaginable, the lethal crack of his neck as the black woman struck a second time.[/center]
[center]Before Bass could even react, Mactastic follows up with a stealthy swing of his cane and knocks Bass out of balance. causing him to slam against the floor.[/center]

[center]His body lay with his neck slightly dislocated, his eyes were still very much open.[/center]

[center]All that ran through Bass' mind as he lay on the ground was:[/center]

[color=#008080]"Drive Link Connected! Proceeding to Bind Soul!" [/color]Suddenly, The Chain started to bind Athena's Soul into existence, onto her soul, which Athena started to feel a Burning Sensation in her chest. Since Athena's body gave consent, as it was sensed by the chain itself, The Chain sent a pulse of red light into Jigoku, Which then caused Athena and Jigoku to glow red for a moment. After the Red Glow Subsided, Jigoku then said [color=#008080]"Drive Link Complete..." [/color]somewhat Panting due to losing a single Drive to use her ability to save someone from death. Since Athena was Linked to Jigoku via her drive link, She can now still see her chain, but it phases through anything in the way, She can also see the 2 chains connecting Jigoku to Nox and Himura...

Jigoku then Glared at Bass, then she said [color=#008080]"Nox! Himura!" [/color]to which they bothlook at Jigoku and say "Yes!?" in unison [color=#008080]"Himura, Bring the girl to me..." [/color][color=#daa520]"Yes Jigoku!" [/color]Which Himura disappeared into the Crowd in an instant. [color=#008080]"Nox, Make sure that the Drive Molester does not try to get to me" [/color][color=#4b0082]"Yes Miss Jigoku!" [/color]which she kept an eye on Bass along with Jigoku...

Himura Arrived at Athena's Location rather quickly and said to her [color=#daa520]"Come with me please..."[/color]

Nox and Jigoku Noted that the Drive Master was Incapacitated and decided to break through the crowd and go up to the stage with a sigh, and Jigoku then asked the Girls and Mac [color=#008080]"Is everyone alright? Well, Except Bass(not Base) the Drive Molester, obviously..."[/color]

[center]Bass, though seemingly impossible, stands up. He is slightly hunched over and as he stands his head sways in front of his chest.[/center]

[center]He lets out a light chuckle as he raises his head and snaps it back into place.[/center]

[center]His chuckle then erupts into a massive maniacal laugh.[/center]

[center][color=#800000]"Ahahaha! DRIVE MOLESTER? You really must be out of your mind to think that my goal is simply to touch a bunch of unattractive girls!"[/color][/center]

[center]Bass Points to the sky. The clouds grow in size and the atmosphere becomes gray and lifeless.[/center]

[center]The clouds begin to part and the Gray Sky is met with a Crimson Seal much larger than the one that took shape when the girls first dueled.[/center]

Nox was looking up to the Sky, Seeing the Dark Atmosphere, but Jigoku had seemed to change with the Drive Master's Words and his rather upsetting insult, She then said [color=#008080]"Your lack of understanding of my words... is an Insult to everyone of us..." [/color]She then started to get ready to punch as Red Lightning seemed to gather in her fist, arcing a few times and arcing more often as seconds went by as she clenched her first hard, The White parts of her eyes started to slowly Change to black, Causing Nox to notice and freak her out, Jigoku then Said as She threw the Punch [color=#008080][b]"So Shut The [/b][/color][b][color=#ff0000]F*CK UP, YOU LOW-LIFE DRIVE MOLESTER!!!" [/color][/b]Her voice at the Last few words made Nox get back and in front of the 2 girls and Mac, If this punch would make contact, regardless of any barriers put up, It would Expel Red Lightning and Throw the Drive Master quite a distance, and it was flying at the Drive Master's face at a very decent Speed...

Clarissa and Mactastic clearly did not know what was going on though their combo attack seemed to have worked, yay. However the Drive Master seemed to be only concerned with the floating soul binding chain that was coming out of the flute girl. Clarissa was scared that all of these women seemed to have been caught in an elaborate net by some power obsessed pervert. Mactastic was annoyed that he was doing all the labor and taking all of this risk for free. When Base mentioned the word unattractive ladies that kind of struck a cord. Sure these girls weren't the best but some of them still had potential.

He let out a slight chuckle. [color=#4b0082]You know men like you are my number one clientele and you usually have to pay extra. Little random nerds who sit in there rooms avoiding the sunlight, living vicariously through fiction. Most unmanly.[/color] He said as he watched

[color=#a52a2a]Please, don't even flatter him! Nerds are cute, everyone loves a little comic book to cuddle up to. This thing is just some lonely digital rapist whose sole purpose is show off before he gets his rocks off on his victims [/color](referring to the gray sky and such)[color=#a52a2a]. And here I thought Malcolm was going to be the worse man in this game. Clarissa replied.[/color]

Mactastic shot his sister a glare which she fired right back. This will be settled later.

Athena was still breathing heavily, though she felt a sudden rush of energy coming from the chain, and all of a sudden she was running on her own lifeforce again and not somebody else's. She panted, exhausted and tired for some reason, her energy low due to the fact that her Drive was at a mere 1. She hadn't ever been this tired since that time with her ex-husband years ago when they had s-

"O- oh?" She turned to Himura. "Very well. I owe you and your two friends gratitude, so I may as well follow you..."

"What the hell is going on here, this can't possibley be legal, can it,"Cole commented on the odd string of events. By now though Cole knew the laws of the outside world no longer applied. Bass the Drive Master or as Jigoku was calling him the Drive Molester had tried to kill Athena, Cole proceeded to back away from the incapcitated Drive Master and towards the group. [i]This is not what I came in here for [/i]thought Cole. The Drive Master slowly staggered to his feet, and called menacing weather down on the plaza.

"Ok boohoo were going to get our clothes wet, nobody is scared of a few gray clouds,"Cole reamrked to the now risen Drive Master. The two siblings were now taunting the Drive Master. [i]Oh that really can't be a good idea.[/i]

[center]Bass slowly tilts his head back in a calculated angle and dodges Jigoku's attack.[/center]

[center]He Vanishes quickly but re-appears just in front of the castle gates.[/center]
[center]He takes a moment to survey his surroundings. To others it would look like an ordinary scene but to him, it was a different story. He could see it. The chains of Drive.[/center]
[center]There were actually two seals. One that hovered above them in the sky, and one that was under their very feet. Unfortunately for them, Only the chosen could see the one below. Each of their hearts Hearts had a chain that was linked to the seal's center. No matter how far they went, that seal bond would follow.[/center]

[center]Ahead of him he saw the empty dueling space where the two Blackwells and Ms. Pallete were.[/center]

[center]Beyond them was Jigoku, Athena and Cole[/center]

[center]Behind them lay the Decorative fountain where Renee Naoi hid, watching the entire thing.[/center]

[center][i]And lastly[/i][/center]

[center]Bass thought to himself as he looked around. He noticed her hiding close to one of the shops beyond the fountain.[/center]

[center][i]Ashe[/i]...She looked like she was already falling victim to the effects of the Crimson Seal.[/center]

[center]Bass lifts his eyes towards his audience and puts on a smile as he announces the following with a loud booming voice.[/center]

[center][color=#800000]"The Crimson Seal takes a lot of Drive to activate, once it activates, it will never go away.[/color][/center]
[center][color=#800000]Since you cannot stop this, I will tell you all the reason you are here, what your purpose is, and why there is not life beyond this point.[/color][/center]

[center][color=#800000]For the past 3 years that this world has been active I have been harvesting Drive From its users for this moment.[/color][/center]
[center][color=#800000]Today is the day where we meet the requirement and open the seal.[/color][/center]

[center][color=#800000]But the seal cannot be opened merely with drive. No no no it requires...special sacrifices.[/color][/center]

[center][color=#800000]I need 3 Drive Hearts in order to open the gate."[/color][/center]

[center]Bass lifts his hand to reveal a red Crystal Heart in in between his index and middle fingers.[/center]

[center][color=#800000]"I have already collected one from Athena, I only need 2 more.[/color][/center]

[center][color=#800000]What makes you remaining 7 so special, is that you too contain Drive Hearts."[/color][/center]

[center]As he states this Seals appear on [i]the eight [/i]the remaining 7 have a circular seal with a heart shape over their hearts (Athena's is empty).[/center]
