............................You never saw it? It's like. At the very top of the page. Not really. It's not that Star Wars-esque opening (which is important in and of itself). It's. Beneath the banner. It's not really a poem. Just, you know, those four strange lines that don't really mean anything. 'With blood, a bat hates all', etc... it's more like a prophecy. I think.

I always wondered about it myself. Glad it was cleared up somewhat.
Well, it had always been part of my plan ever since the creation of the original Legend Blood, to be honest.

Yeah, I saw it. I just skimmed over it and never paid any further attention =/
Intentional :D therefore, you guys never notice the foreshadowing and hints until the very end.

John wouldn't. He's far too kindhearted for that. In a way, he's like the most kindhearted person in this whole RP, giving even people like a Chaos Lord and the sadistic Clarice second chances. He's the typical knight kind of character, although I wouldn't call him a 'knight' per se. If he were to ever seriously consider taking Clarice's life, it would only be if she did something like mass murdering over five hundred people... I mean seriously. He let her off the hook for murdering innocent vampires and turning them into pies. Not a single other character in this whole RP would've tolerated that. Not even one.

Had I joined this RP, I would have, but it would be extremely difficult to do. Considering that if I joined this RP in the beginning, my character would be almost as nice as John, but would be more open to actually accepting Lyon as an ally, rather than a toy to be used only for the war to end (And possibly to teach human soldiers how to properly use magic to get the upper hand).

So, yeah. If I just decided to be apart of this RP, John might have had second thoughts on all vampires who were allies to his army. MAYBE. That would depend on how well John is really willing to have second thoughts on vampires if they change their ways to kill their own kin.

But, that's just my personal guess.

Feredir might've; the pacifist elf.

EDIT

Where you be AC!? We need to finish this fight, cos the invasion be starting soon. Either we need to finish it together, or I'll finish it (Cos I'm online a lot).
Speaking of invasion, we need to plan how we're bringing Feredir and Alsa back into the fray.

Yeah, Alexi is not a nice guy. Well he is until you cross him that is, and doing something like turning innocent bystanders who have no real involvement in the fight into pies is one such thing that could be considered crossing him. Especially if they're vampires. Hell the only reason he's on the rebellion's side right now is because he sees Elnaer as a threat to the overall well-being of his people.

That's an interesting observation, Clarice, and it's true. John's nothing more than a man who grew up to be the ideal human for mankind's salvation. Outside of that, there's nothing for him. He has no interests, no hobbies, only a never-ending desire to see peace.

She's always been smart, but she prefers violence.

Well, in truth her squad has saved her butt more times than she may acknowledge. Without them, she could've never started this operation, and infiltrate the castle the swift way she did, AND remember to rally at the warehouse. Those had all been their ideas, not hers. So she isn't really smart. She's just lucky to have a group of powerful woman to support her and look up to her.

And you worried that the girls were going to grow up with self-esteem issues lol

They will, once the war is over.

Why?

Because they will never be able to turn back.

If their girly-romance-flower-pink preferences resurface after Clarice having pushed it down, and if they ever bloody return to their original friends and family, that's really going to kick things home. Now it's understandable if some of them are orphans having watched their family killed by vampires before their very eyes, but surely some of them had left on their own, questing with the simple and noble intention to help take down Lord Elnaer. These girls never expected someone like Clarice to be there and constantly push them beyond their extremes and limits.

But in any case, I predict a massive rise in feminism. After the war is over, once these females go back and have girls as children, no doubt they'll hammer their kids home what Clarice had originally taught them. Let's assume that Clarice's squad is composed of five women soldiers. After the war is over, they all return to their respective villages and rebuilt towns and later on marry and have children, let's say two of these are girls.

By Legend Moon, after a mere twenty years, we would have ten mini-Clarices. In about a century, this number will grow to about a hundred and sixty (20 x 2[sup]5[/sup]), which should be enough to start a special feminism academy and so by the time of a hypothetical Legend Space (which will never happen), females with Clarice-like traits should make up more than 80% of the entire female populace, vampires included.

Remember, the human population right now has been greatly reduced thanks to Elnaer's campaign. So...Clarice's actions by themselves which in the long run will bring forth a much bigger change to Lath's future than even the Vampire Lord's defeat.

Oh god.

Somebody kill that squad before they make babies...!

^^I heart this

btw I have constantly referenced that there are 10 girls in the squad and 4 body guards (which look like the top four female olympic weightlifting champs) so yes go forth and multiply. Hmmm I assume there will be statues erected in Clarice's honor as one of the legendary female heroines in the history of Lath. The scrolls and sacred text shall tell of her many victories...maybe leave out the pie making lol

Lets hope they don't manage to go forth and multiply then, one Clarice is crazy enough without adding a bunch of mini-clarices into the mix as well. Though John almost seems to be losing his confidence in this plan he set up, and Clarice is just going absolutely psycho without any extra help from the others needed.
