Tentacruel
Hooray! Discuss. I've never actually played it but I'm excited that I'll be able to. Feel free to discuss the game itself as well.
Shradow
I feel it's overrated *coughSephirothcough* but that hasn't stopped me from wanting to play it. (I've only played FFI-FFIV) This give me a great chance. I want to see Aerith's death scene with my own eyes on my own game file. TT^TT
Expelsword
It's as overrated as The Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64, by which I mean revolutionary and a cornerstone of gaming.
Elƒie
I still have my original copy of FF7 and a PS2 to play it on. Jelly yet? Anyways.. It's one the best RPG games out there and was a complete game-changer as to how stories were told in RPGs (and other genres) and forever will be a classic. I highly recommend FF7 to ANYONE into RPs, either as games or participating in them. There's also a lot of tid-bits in the game that make interesting. Like Chocobo breeding (which is needed to get THE best summon in the game), searching and gathering the ultimate techniques and weapons for each character, leveling up their Limits or materia. There's even a few characters that you have to go out of your way to just to get them!
Tentacruel
I have the ISO on my XBox, but it's a little glitchy and would rather play it legit. I'm looking forward to this being released because I am indeed an RPG fan, and I didn't have a PlayStation growing up.
Darth Revan of the Sith
Never really was a big fan of FF7, 8, or 12. *Shot*shot*shot*shot*shot*
Juuzou
Haven't they milked this game enough?
Dr. Cakey
Anyways.. It's one the best RPG games out there and was a complete game-changer as to how stories were told in RPGs (and other genres) and forever will be a classic.
Whether or not that's a good thing is a separate question.
Never really was a big fan of FF7, 8, or 12. *Shot*shot*shot*shot*shot*
From what I've seen, FFXII is basically "the one that can between X and XIII" (wait...aren't there two numbers between ten and thirteen...?). In this post-TheSpoonyOne world, it is now okay to not like VIII. And VII...well, I'm not actually qualified to discuss any of this, am I?
Haven't they milked this game enough?
Depending on your perspective, they haven't milked it enough. Unlike Final Fantasies I-VI (and X, of all things...) it's never been re-released. What it did get was that one movie, that one game, that one other game, that other other game, that OVA, that other other other game, that other other other other game, and probably a couple more games, all [s]set in the same universe[/s] using most of the same important words.
