She recently came to the US scene because of the random explosion of interest that her single, "Lights" got. I've been a fan of her since her debut album came out, and it's so much easier to find out about her music when you live in the UK <3

Her sophomore album, [i]Halcyon[/i], is coming out in October and I'm personally really excited about it.

If you're not aware of her genre(s), it's folktronica (a mixture of folk and electronic music as the name suggests).

I am a fan of Ellie too, but honestly I don't know if I am excited for Halcyon or not... :/ I listened to the album trailer and nothing really seemed to stand out about it. Maybe when I listen to the full album I'll change my mind. But Lights and Guns and Horses are two of my favorites.

I love her older songs so much more than the new one she released, as well as High For This.

I went through a phase when Ellie Goulding was literally all I'd listen to because I was so addicted to her music. She has such a lovely, unique voice and a way of making music that made me feel things and every time I listen to her songs today, it brings me back to the time in my life when I'd originally listen to her music and I'd feel all the emotions I felt back then.

My favorite song of hers will always be Every Time You Go (the acoustic/piano version), The End, Your Biggest Mistake, and her cover of Heartbeats.

Though I wonder why Human and Starry Eyed didn't pick up as much as Lights did, but either way, those three, I'd think, are her most well known songs and are really good too.
