“Well, it has been two long years since most of you saw each other, but save the greetings for after we set sail.” Percy said as he looked at the scenery, away from the crew. “I know some of you are still skeptical about this trip, so I won’t blame you if you leave right now. Maybe the captain wasn’t worth as much to you guys as he was to me.” A tear fell from Percy’s right eye; he was waiting for some people to leave. There was a minute of silence, with Percy still looking at the water. He then turned to the crew, expecting some people to be gone, but they were all there. A smile appeared on Percy’s face. “Alright guys… let set sail to The Valley of Roses” he screamed. It was then followed by a loud yell to the sky, as he put his fist into the air. The crew was full of energy as they too cheered, well most of them.

“Tomorrow…!” Percy yelled after mostly everyone was excited. The excitement suddenly died down. Most of the crew looked liked they wanted to kill him. Flaps were heard and then the crew split into two groups, leaving a path in the middle. As soon as the crew completely split Lélia was flying at top speed toward Percy. Her leg was extended in front of her. Percy didn’t have time to react and Lélia’s foot collided with Percy’s face knocking him over the railing into the water. “What the hell was getting is exited for?!” Lélia screamed. The crew began to laugh, even the most serious of members. Percy surfaced and pulled himself up, his forearms were on top of the railing. He was also laughing and then responded to the question. “That’s why.” He stared at the laughing crew, which stopped laughing to listen. “Two long years since I’ve seen the crew laughing like this. I just needed to see it. And most likely I wasn’t the only one who needed to see the crew laughing together again.” Percy then stood up on the railing. “Okay then tomorrow we set sail, but for today I say catch up with everyone. Have fun; seriously the city is right behind you. Whatever you do today just make sure to meet up over there.” Percy pointed to his right, where some buildings were. “We take off from there, and wait till you see what ship I managed to get us.”

Percy then gave another laugh as he let himself fall into the water again, back first. There was enough salt in the water to allow him to float on his back without much work. He just floated on his back with a smile on his face. The crew then started to disperse, some went drinking, others to party, others to relax,etc. There was some that just decided to catch up without going anywhere.

Sharon Thane. Novice Mage. And now novice Scholar. She still could not believe that Percy was able to find out how to find a way to locate Captain Karisuma before she did, after all of her research. Worse still, she had the information right at her fingertips; if she would only had paid attention to it. Still, he did have the right intentions; even she couldn't help but smile when the crowd burst out in laughter. In the end, the crew was united under a common cause; it did not matter who did what as long as Captain Karisuma was reunited with his crew. And if that meant wasting and duplicating effort? So be it.

As the crew started to disperse, Sharon headed out into town as well. While she did want to speak with a few of the crewmates that she was on friendly with, there was one place she needed to visit before she set sail. Her frost sword had been acting up recently. She got into a scuffle with some brigands a month and her sword spewed ice crystals all over the place when she tried to activate the enchantment. If the crew encounters the undead again, she needed to be in top shape; a malfunctioning sword would not do.

Seoul stood quietly in the middle of the group. She had been traveling from town to town for two years before Percy had found her. She wasn't quiet invested in the idea that Karisuma could be resurrected, but if it meant that she could be accepted again, then she'd be willing to give it a shot. Even she had to give a small chuckle when Percy got kicked in the face. Once the group began to disband, she simply sat at the edge of the water, looking at the town. She gave consideration to joining the crew mates that were going into town for drinks and games, but ultimately decided to play it safe and stay where she was.

A hearty cheer. Much better than other ways of commencing an important journey. Like killing people. Really, it was a large waste of resources to go about setting such a commencement, that it was normally a better idea just to go kill people and go home early.

Not to imply that Eula spent the intervening time killing people. More that she spent most of her time avoiding human contact altogether. Instead, she had found solace in a cave, allowing her to concentrate on simply living and ignore the fact that her lone meal ticket to a better life had been mauled to death by the privateers of the underworld.

Eula remembered when Percy had come to the mouth of her cave. She had no idea how he found her, but she did remember her first words being a rather firm "Go Away."

Somehow, after that, he had managed to get her to accept one final voyage, with the hope of more. The details of that conversation were lost to time, but what she did remember was stepping out into the bright sunlight and nearly being blinded.

That was the irony of being a gorgon without the urge to kill. Being blinded was something Eula was used to, and she was able to work her way around the caverns, but the sun's rays pierced her eyes in a way she hadn't thought possible. A blindness that hurt. Fortunately, it subsided briefly, and she was able to follow Percy back.

She had hung aroung too long. Everyone else was long gone, probably to head into town. Making sure her veil was on, as well as all of her other protective and concealing garments were on, and cautiously followed suit.

Michael stood at the back of the group, leaning his arms on the balcony that stopped him falling into the water, his head drooped to face the stone surface. Lines criss-crossed regularly, creating a beautiful yet almost invisible pattern in the rock, only noticable to those who payed attention. It seemed to glow with energy, due to the cracks containing small droplets of water. The reflection of the sunlight into these droplets gave the impression of magick and power, glowing gaps amidst a dark background, almost hidden within the folds of the ordinary.

The young pirate sighed, lifting his head up slightly to face the surface of the lake, watching the small ripples collide to form an endless array of patterns. The sight was beautiful, calming, but the speech held weight with Michael. The words Percy used, the way he spoke them, it hit a nerve in Michael. He avoid mentioning it out loud, but muttered to himself under his breath "You really think you cared more about my father than me?" turning his head slightly so as to aim the murmured question.

He sighed again as the crowd erupted into laughter, being one of the few not to even chuckle (Though he did smirk slightly), and remained where he was as the crew disperse, simply staring at the lake and mountains surrounding it. On any other day, he would have visited the pub, but his emotions were in turmoil; a raging storm played games inside his heart. He was happy that they were going to try and rescue his father, and pleased to see everyone again, but he was anxious and nervous for the trip, pessimistic about the chances of succeeding, jealous of Percy's position as the new captain, and sad about remembering his father's passing.

The Great-Still-Water was pleasant to swim in, it's rather warm temperature rather soothing to the Living-Water-things. Especially to the Leviathan. It was a happy place, the things-that-grow-still rising from the Great-Still-Water's bottom brushing against his underside, tickling the skin-that-is-hard, causing him to wriggle and laugh, though the sound was strange.
He had been playing the entire time that the meeting of the two-legs-pack had been going on, ignoring the barrage of emotions from the-brother-master and his pack. It was a confusing mess of darkness and light in his brother-master's mind, and it was best to stay away.

So Leviathan played for a while, swimming around in the great-still-water and scaring some two-legs occasionally, before realising that the meeting of the two-legs-pack had finished, at which point he swam towards the area it had taken place. Spotting his master-brother, he spurted a short jet of cold water at him, hitting him dead in the face.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spurting out water from his mouth, Michael chuckled, smiling at Leviathan. Such innocence and beauty was rare in the world, and almost non-existant among humans, and so Michael treasured his companionship with Leviathan highly.
He grinned and reached into his bag, pulling out a large fish and throwing it towards Leviathan, who caught it easily in his jaws, and swallowed it in seconds.
Realising that was the last fish, Michael decided he should visit the market place. He could collect some fish and perhaps some weaponry. A knife would be handy.
"I'll be going now. I'll see you tomorrow." Michael shouted down to Leviathan, who nodded with understanding and plunged down under the surface to play some more before it went to sleep.
Lélia was still too young to be messing around with the crew, so instead she stayed behind. She sat on the balcony as she swung her legs back and forth. She decided to stay with Percy, who was still just floating on the water. She was laughing at how silly Percy acted during the “speech” he gave. She was going to say there until she saw that Tobias was alone. “Tobias!” she yelled as she flew to him, landing on him as if he was giving her a ride on his shoulders. “Lets go!” she continued pointing toward the water. “Hehe, we will, but I need to do something real quick.”Tobias responded. He began to walk toward Michael, who was leaving. “There is darkness inside of you” Tobias said when he was only a few feet behind him. “We are off to save your father, how can you shrouded by those dark clouds at a time like this?”
“Hey hey. Where do you think you’re going” Takao said to Sharon as he walked with a few crew mates. “We are going to the bar and you’re joining us.” He placed his hand on Sharon’s shoulder. “We have to celebrate, we’re getting out captain back. There is no time to be sad. Come on, we’ll have fun.”
A little puppet stood on Sharon’s other shoulder, well more liked danced. “Yes come on, don’t let Rosario be the only girl. Join us.” The puppet continued to dance and Jozef began to laugh.
Since Lélia left Percy quickly he was alone once again. That’s when he spotted Seoul, just sitting alone. Percy decided to comfort her, so he swam to her. “And why aren’t you partying.” He splashed water to her. “At least have fun; we are going to go on a dangerous journey tomorrow. Fun won’t be that easily obtained after we set sail.”
“Uhm… I know you aren’t one to talk” Joan told Eula. “But you’re alone like always and I felt that you needed company this one time” She walked up next to Eula as she began to walk. “So, how was your two year?”
Michael sighed and avoided turning to Tobias - though not out of fear of the Beast he appeared to be; no-one felt like that aboard the ship. He didn't want to look anyone in the eyes, for fear they would see into him. He just didn't feel well at the moment, and needed to be alone.
"Aye, there is much to be happy about." Michael muttered, stopping in his tracks and looking to the distant hills and the opening to open sea. It was so peaceful, the fresh sea air so salty to the taste, the bright blue Ocean almost mirroring the sky. It was a great day, and they were about to set off and rescue his father. He should be happy. But the darkness couldn't go away, his heart was still poisoned with the memories of the day. "But the memories of the Past are hard to relinquish. Memories of dark times are the hardest."
He sighed again, thinking about the times he had shared with his father, precious memories. But he couldn't get rid of the one terrible memories, the painful thought that wouldn't leave. "I just couldn't do anything." Michael whispered, lifting his head to look at the sky, before walking away. "I'll see you tonight, Tobias." He called, waving his hand half-heartedly as he left to visit the marketplace, attempting to avoid contact with any of the crew.
Robert applauded with the rest of the crew as Percy made a spectacle of himself, admiring the Charisma that the man had. It was a hard task, replacing Karisuma. The man had been a legend, a hero in the eyes of the Crew. And Percy was going to struggle to live up to that.
But he was doing well so far, and so Robert applauded and laughed with the rest of them, and followed a large group as they started to enter the town, so as to try and make some conversation and overcome his social awkwardness.
However, his social adventure was halted prematurely as he paused, allowing the group he had been among to leave as he spotted Sharon, alone, walking towards town. He questioned whether he could work up the courage to invite her for a drink, seeing his opening, but was beaten to the punch by Takao and Jozef, who proceeded to attempt to drag her for a drink. Robert smiled and started to approached them, interested in joining the celebrations.
"Fun," Seoul said out loud, responding to Percy's splashing. "I think I'd like to join everyone else. Have a night of partying. Try drinking for once." She looked down, drawing out one of her daggers, looking at the gems in it. "I just can't, though. No matter where I go, I just cause trouble. It's always been that way. I don't mean to, I try to stay safe, but someone will try to... Well, it's usually some drunk guy... And after that, someone who saw me using my abilities will warn the town about me, and..." a tear slid down Seoul's face, splashing on the blade of her dagger. She put it away. "I'm sorry, these are my problems. You can go on ahead if you want, I won't stop you. It's best for everyone if I stay out of town."
Milli being one of the older members simply basked in the memories that came flooding in after seeing everyone's faces after such a long time. The food they ate together the worlds they saw, and the man that lead them. Of course he laughed as Leila gave that flying kick over Percy's face...granted had she lowered her center of gravity, raised her heal ten degrees, and not screamed like a bloody banshee it would have been greatly more effective. Milli laughed as he found himself once again internally critiquing the movements of the younger ones. He was elated at this opportunity to go travel the world, see new places, clean, cut, kill, cook, and eat new maybe dangerous creatures. A chance for his prized chimera cloth to grow and while getting the captain back was such a thrill, there was a slight thrill in being able to go against the a very finite law of nature.
As everyone broken to go party Milli just watched everyone depart somewhat. He loved that people were pestering Sharon, that the ancient Earth beast known as Tobias was talking to Michael who was busy sulking, understandable, and even the newest member Seoul was talking...or belaboring is more like it. Nevertheless everyone was living. So who should he talk to he wondered, no need to be a wall flower seeing as this was a party the most efficient thing to do is fine someone and join in the festivities. Then he saw the two characters that he was always intrigued by during his time on board...the ninjas. Ninjas by definition have to be efficient or else they'll die. No useless movements, no flawed techniques, if it wasn't for there tragic backstory and upbringing Milli would almost want to give being a ninja a try...maybe the old culinary ninja sage. He laughed at the thought.
Milli approached Jin and Shiba as they clearly made there way to the same place nearly a place on the roof to look at and avoid contact with other people therefore not having to show useless emotions. He thought carefully on how he should approach them but what he forgot was that thanks to his die hard lessons of food etiquette, honor, and useless movements his walking produces no sound or sense of presence unless he wanted to. So he managed to sneak up on a couple of expert ninjas. Within tenths of a second the Milli found two blades at his neck as the ninjas have great reflexes of course the chimera cloth had already turned its not knotted edges into spear points and had it at their necks.
"I must say fellas, I am impressed, you surely remain as efficient as ever. May I perhaps see the results of your training these past two years? Your movements are always a thrill to watch."
Of course both ninjas remain silent and just look at each other, crew mates shouldn't fight at all..well unless drunk and what not. Though as they both sheathed their blades and the cloth resumed its normal state leaving one end floating to be petted by its master they ninjas see that the Milli has slightly better reaction speed (mainly because he is older and has been through more) because that cloth could have easily just killed them by the time they turned around. Nevertheless it was a great time to test their skills against a non ninja. Milli's hair blew in the breeze and he lavished in it as the ninjas stood on guard for this little sparring match. A leaf blew past all three and just as it left Milli's line of sight so did both ninjas.
"Flawless" He said as seemingly out of nowhere Jin came with a fury of blows but none of them landed as Mill seemed to be standing still but he was dodging with minimal effort or to be more precise the most efficient manner possible. Shiba came from behind with an almost invisible sweep kick which couple with Jin's upper body to face attacks meant that Milli was trapped. Well the ninjas thought so anyway, Milli lifted his left and stomped down on Shiba's leg, stepped on it like a log (stopping the kick), turned his body 180 degrees and used Jin's own momentum to throw him into Shiba. The plan worked as the two ninjas quickly regrouped. But Milli was satisfied, he was old and without any weapons the two ninjas would get the better of him with stamina alone. Milli simply applauded their efforts and the two ninjas not really saying anything joined in the applause. Of course Jin being the one that could talk simply said "You're pretty good."
Eula looked at Joan as if she had no idea what she was talking about. Not that she would know that, her veil was doing its mundane magic. Still, she had a question to answer, leaving no time to ponder the wonders of a black cloth barrier between two people.
"I spent the last two years in a cave outside some local town I don't remember the name of."
That statement led to a flash of memories, from the caverns, with its intricate and mesmerizing patterns. At one point, Eula could swear that four square right turns were made, and she wound up somewhere in no relation to her original location. Such was the majesty of an indescribable environment. She felt like a minotaur at some points.
Then she remembered that she wasn't.
Sure, life had been pretty ok, but one of the things Riku made sure was that she would always remember what she had done.
Riku. That was another thing she remembered pondering. Not that she really cared anymore. But it was something that never left her mind, especially when near the sea. More so when close to Vesuva.
Oh no. She had forgotten that part. The part involving how she had to undergo such agony whenever she got close. The memories were already flooding back. Sure it could be a stupid coincidence, and Eula really didn't want to socialize with the "team mom" more than she had to, but she really had to ask.
"This isn't Vesuva, is it?"
"Ahh... well, you know that I..." Sharon began, caught off guard by Takao's invitation. She trailed off once she noticed that puppet on her shoulder; she was kind of used to it, but it has been a while since she last saw any of the crew, really. Jozef seemed... more than amused by the situation, which caused Sharon to frown a bit. Still, it would be nice to relax...
Sharon grabbed the hilt of her frost sword. She really needed to get the enchantment fixed. Her first plan was to go see the local enchanter right now, but then she remembered how frustrating he was to deal with. She was here last year for pretty much the same reason; her frost sword needed to be fixed. He went on and on about the superiority of mages, and even with all of his boasting, he apparently didn't do a good job; as the sword is in even worse shape than it was back then! She had half a mind to do it herself, which wasn't that bad an idea now that she thought of it. She already had the tools; she just needed time.
"...You know what? Sure, I'll join you guys for a drink or two," Sharon said. Takao and Jozef cheered. It would be a good way to unwind and relax among friends; something she never really got a chance to do since that fateful day. She wasn't sure if it would degenerate into a fight or a test of skill or something, but that was just how these guys were. Fortunately, she saw a familiar face approaching the group from the corner of her eye.
"Hey, Robert," she said as he approached. "We're going to the bar for a bit. Want to join?" Honestly, she just wanted someone to speak to if things got out of hand, and if she recalled correctly, Robert was not predisposed to get himself drunk all the time. Plus, they were both from NAM, so maybe she could ask him about her sword...
Soren was relieved to see none of the crew had went and got themselves killed in the past two years from what he could see, excluding the captain of course. He stood by as Percy gave a exciting speech to fire up the crew. Soren like most of the crew felt a deep lose when they lost their captain.Soren even let out a laugh when Leila kick Percy over the railing and into the water.Soren let half the crew disperse and go all different ways to relax before it was time to go and get back to serious work. He watched as some of the crew convinced Sharon to go out with them he let them go out partying. He also noticed Seoul talking with the Percy.He sent an illusion up behind her just to say to invite her out. He was close enough to hear her say its best if she stay out of town. He had the illusion walk up behind her. He threw his voice to sound like the illusion of himself was the one talking. He said "don't say such things i'll personally escort you round town." He was serious in this offering to escort her around town so she could have some fun before they departed tomorrow.
Milli walked around and noticed various parts of the crew in the city, having drinks and celebrating and whatnot. He noticed that there was Sharon doing her thing but she kept gripping her ice sword. Clearly it was not operating at optimum efficiency and there does happen to be some form of magic blacksmith in this town. Well Milli was not going to let this stand so while she was busy partying with the puppeteer the chimera cloth he simply snatched it from her rather quick and efficiently. While he might not have been able to fix the sword he knew his cloth would. He wrapped hilt of the sword in the cloth and unsheathed it. With the cloths magical properties it was actually able to make the sword work.
"Pretty, but I can see what's wrong here" the blade of the sword was wrapped in the cloth and as Milli and the cloth started to become a block of ice it started to cause quite the scene. He laughed as he being frozen solid and then his cloth seemed to shatter said ice. He resheathed the sword and tossed it back towards Sharon. "Plants are living things too, they have magical circuits in them just like mages in fact when cooking for mages it is best to use a seasonal blend of spices AND magical herbs to strengthen your magic. It relatively easy for Chimera here to fix or strengthen enchantments with its latent ability. Now continue to have fun tomorrow seems to be the firs of many perils." Milli finished his speech and walked away smiling.
After a nice relaxing walk he decided it would be best to treat himself to something nice on his final day. How about a super expensive full course of life meal. He looked around and spotted the most famous restaurant in the city and decided to have a go. Due to his fame and fortune he was instantly seated. One by one the dishes came out and he dined on them with a zealous yet poised and efficient manner. The chefs could be seen peaking out of the window looking for a smile or sign of disapproval, but it was just him eating his food with his eyes closed. around the time of the main course he was somewhat satisfied, the salad being his favorite course with the Hors d'oeuvres leaving a little to be desired. When the plate was put in front of him he was about to put his fork into the rare leviathan meat and then he noticed something off. The drop, there was a tiny borderline minuscule drop of sauce on the edge of the plate, barely noticeable by most human standards but clearly a display in inefficient plating. Milli was confused on how to react he wanted to say something but he didn't want to be "that guy" who ruined everyone's good time at restaurant but of his own taste.
As he was lost in thought on how to proceed he heard a laugh. He looked around and realized that no one was there, but he heard it again. This laugh he realized was a memory and a memory of a very special man. Milli was incidentally flashbacking to the his first meal with the captain. It was at a restaurant similar to this one and there was a misplaced droplet on the plate.
"What's wrong why you stop eating? Is the food bad?" Kurisama asked in earnest.
"No...there is a misplaced droplet on my plate and don't want to say anything but..." just then Milli was interrupted as the captain reached over the and just shifted all the food on Milli's plate so now it looked more like abstract art than food.
"There, no more droplets, now lets eat we still have 7 more courses left and this is some good food."
"You....just...touched...my food."
"Look the food is good that's all there is too it, that's why you're coming with me isn't it? You want to live again. You know full well you'll be cooking on a pirate ship where no one is going to care whether or not you put a droplet here or there just if the food is good. So why should you care now? So Milli lets just enjoy the rest of this meal on me."
"Milli? Is that my name?"
"Yeah I like it, sounds fun and you need to be more fun. hahahaha"
Milli couldn't help but laugh along to not only for his new name but the entire meal was free thanks to his own reputation.
As the flashback ended a small tear ran down his face and he cut a piece of leviathan meat off and swirled it around the droplet causing a small mess and ate it. He then smiled which was the sign the chefs had been looking for as they celebrated in the kitchen. His chimera cloth wiped the tear from his face and Milli spoke to it. "You know I believe that we all die for a reason and we should cherish and respect such a finite law of nature. Going against that seems rude and foolhardy. However sometimes being rude and foolhardy is a good as an old friend once showed me." With this his resolve was firm and he ate the rest of his meal with a smile on his face.
Robert smiled, inside rejoicing that she had actually offered for him to come along. His heart was pounding, and he was rather unsure if he could even pull words out of his mouth if he wanted to.
However, he noticed her fumbling around with her sword, and presumed that it was malfunctioning somewhat. He shrugged and, having been disrupted from his state of near ecstasy, he managed to note on it. "Is your sword okay?" He asked, looking up. "I could take a look at it, if you want. I wonder if healing magick wou...." He started, before the sword was swiped away by a random cloth, a familiar one whose owner was obvious to the crew members.
"Milli." Robert muttered, smiling despite his disappointment that he hadn't been the one to help Sharon, but at least her problem was over and they could go to the bar. "So then." He started. "Shall we go?"
Seoul continued to watch Percy, still in the water, when she heard someone behind her. Her initial instinct was to freeze, and lower her eyes to the ground. No good, it wasn't the right time of day, and she wasn't seated in any shadows. She made a quick note to be more careful about that. If was quickly scraped when she remembered she was among friends. She turned to see who it was that had spoken, and saw Soren. Should have recognized that it was a male voice, she'd heard plenty of them. She heard another voice after she had turned back away from him. Another voice she hadn't heard in a while, and when she closed her eyes, she saw who it belonged to.
"If you join me, you can be safe from these people," Karisuma told her. He hadn't killed any of the seven people who had jumped her, even the pervert who had her pinned to the ground by her chest. Him, she had thrown off using she shadows.
"Yeah, nothing safer for a girl than to join a bunch of pirates on a boat with nowhere to run to," she responded, riding the shadows to be behind him. The captain laughed as heartily as she'd ever heard.
"Well, it's not hard to see the logic there. You know, the ship is loaded with places that are shaded most times of day. Perfect for someone like you to defend themselves if they had to, little Shadow Surfer." Seoul looked at the man, still not fully trusting him, but convinced he genuinely believed his crew wouldn't harm her. She stayed behind him while she gave her answer.
"Alright, I guess I'll go with you. It could be fun," she said after she opened her eyes again. She stood up and dusted herself off before turning to face Soren.
Soren's illusion said, "sweet" before it faded away. Soren himself was standing to the left of her when the illusion had offered to protect her so she could have some fun. He actually walked up this time and offered a bow as he said, " Where would you like to go today my lady." He stood back up and laughed as he realized he still had some royal tendencies left in him. He was actually glad she had agreed to come he didn't want to see any of the crew not having some fun today. As he waited on her to respond, He stood there thinking over the past two years and how he had almost got himself killed. He forgot how much some of the crew knew how to have fun. He knew going alone would be no fun and most of the people had dispersed to fast for him to actually join them. He had enjoyed the scenery of the area around the town so in town would also be great.
Seoul wasn't surprised when the illusion faded. Something didn't seem right about the Soren who had spoken to her, she calmly looked around, a habit she had picked up in her teens, and refined the last two years. She smiled a bit when he bowed to her, albeit her mask hid the gesture. She gave her best semblance of a curtsy, before looking back to the city, the first time in two years she had turned her back on anyone who wasn't already pursuing her. "I don't know," she answered, "what's the market like?"
Soren was snapped back in to realty when she asked him about the market. He respond with a simple,"I don't know . Haven't spent enough time in town to say for sure." He smiled at the fact that of all places in town she chose the market. It was fine with him as long as she was having fun. He motioned his head towards town town and said "let go see the market, I actually have some thing i need to pick up anyway." He started towards town walking backwards to make sure she was actually coming with him in to town. he knew where the market was and that was it. he had a mile on his face as he felt the freedom of actually not having anything to do but relax come over him. He continued in to town keeping an eye on seoul making sure she was fine.
Seoul followed Soren into town, keeping a wary eye on anyone she saw in town. For the most part, people left the two alone. She noticed that Soren kept looking at her, and that was alright, as long as he was being friendly. The two met eyes a few times, and Seoul would quickly turn her head to look at something else. As they got closer to the market, Seoul started looking around more, looking to see what was being sold.
They had finally made it to the market when soren turned around and threw his hands out and said, "Welcome to the market I have one thing to take care of here you can come with if you want." Soren turned around and approached a one of the street merchants ." Hey how much for two of you apples." the street merchant said " Its free for the true king of Ligon". Soren laughed as he revived the apples from the merchant. Soren then said, " If i get the throne back i make sure these are paid for alright." The merchant smiled and bowed to Soren as he turned around and tossed one to Seoul. Soren then walked over too another merchant and started haggling for some gunpowder for his gun. He haggled for a while till he got it to a more reasonable price then what was originally offered. He thanked the man as he walked back towards Seoul eating his apple and said, " See any thing you like."
Seoul caught the apple Soren had tossed to her. While he haggled for a price on gunpowder, Seoul simply stared at the apple in her hands. Again, the image of Karisuma and how they had met played in her mind. "I do, yes." she answered in a soft voice. She pulled her mask from her face and took a bite from her apple. She chewed slowly, holding on to the feeling if peace she had any time she was with someone she felt safe with.
Soren stood there as Seoul ate he apple, He finished his apple and looked back at Seoul and asked her, " Is there anything you want from here or anything else you like to do?" He honestly needed some medicine for the cold he had picked up a week ago but he figured it would pass so he might not need it. He looked back at the merchant who had gave him the free apples and thought about the Karisuma and how he radiated leadership skills Soren would need to take back his kingdom. Soren had let the thought circulatein his head for a while while he waited for Seoul to answer his question. The thought had changed for the fomer captain to Percy and his leader ship skills. In Soren's eyes, Percy was really go to be tested in the up coming journey.
"Well, maybe we cod just walk around town? I... Don't have any hobbies." She finished her apple, and repositioned her mask over her face. She looked over to the person who gave Soren the apples, and then to Soren. She hadn't been part of the crew long, but for the short time she had been part of it, she had grown to like some of them, even of she didn't fully trust anyone just yet. However, it didn't seem like it'd be long before Soren gained that.
Soren laugh after Seoul said she had no hobbies. He replied, " Alright then lets go for a walk then." He started to walk in a direction while he keeped an eye on Seoul makeing sure she was following. He had no problem just walking around because he acually wanted to check out some of the towns arcutechture and just relax anyways. He thought that it was a peaceful day anyway. He looked up at the sky then he looked for the highest point in town. He quickly trned to Seoul and asked her had she ever seen a town from up above. Before she could answer he stated towards the tallest building he could see. He was acually a big fan of over looking a beutiful city and he was going to make sure Seoul was going to see it to. He coughed once or twice on the way to the base of the building but he tried to hid the fact he was sick from Seoul.
Tobias only had enough time to say one thing before Michael left. “Just remember, none of us were able to do anything about it.” With that Michael was gone. “He is in so much turmoil, it’s even hurting me.” He mumbled to himself. He then felt a pat on his head; it was Lélia who was still sitting on his shoulders.
“So where are we going” Lélia said
“I don’t know, you must remember most people would be scared of us if they saw us, so how about we find a nice quiet place and look at the stars?” Lélia nodded, agreeing with the plan. With that they were gone as well.
“Vesuva?” Joan responded. “I don’t know what would make you think that, we are nowhere near that place.” Joan kind of figured that Eula didn’t want to talk right now, so she decided to cut the conversation. She hugged Eula real quick and then left to the city, to join everyone’s fun; and make sure it didn’t get out of hand.
“Don’t worry, that’s why we’re here. To protect one another.” Percy responded to Seoul. “If one gets in trouble the rest will be there to help out.” Percy got out of the water about to ask Seoul to join him, but he was beaten by Soren. “Well there you go; you have your own personal escort.” What that they were gone, leaving Percy alone. He decided to sit on the railing and just stare at the water for the rest of the day.
