Thar
Threw you off, didn't I? A few things I noticed right off the bat: The contrast makes it super pixelated. I made a few last minute changes in hopes to make it look good and clean, but now I'm not sure as to how to comprehend the element. I also might be given grief for all the black space, but it was meant to be a landscape project. Also, like my previous works, this is not meant to be any kind of tag/sig; just an experimental photo-manipulation with special effects put in. Nothing legit. Anyway, CnC always welcome~
Night
A dissolved block of soap, and two horrendously dodged wings with some random splatter brushing is now apparently art.
Thar
A dissolved block of soap, and two horrendously dodged wings with some random splatter brushing is now apparently art.
It's actually butter, hence "Butterfly". And I agree, the wings are horrible.
·Toot
I can't believe its not butter!
Thar
Holy f*ck, the pixelation on the butter is terrible. >_<
I can't believe its not butter
I guess it's not. Apparently it's a bar of soap.
Tormented
The contrast bleeds my eyeballs. Still have no idea what it's mean to be, a piece of butter whom has alternate egos? IDFK.
Thar
Serenade, it's a stick of butter that can fly. 'Butterfly'. Get it? It's nothing too deep. And is there any way I can fix the contrast on the .PNG without making it worse?
Tormented
Ugh, If you use photoshop, which I'm presuming you do, you could try a G-Map and try different blending options. IDFK. And If it's simple enough for me to look at and say K, I'm all good.
Thar
I don't use PS. I use GIMP. I guess can try and fix it. But I doubt it'll be worth it considering the lack of time I put into my work
Tormented
I've never properly used GIMPEY does it have a G-Map functionality?
Night
Gimp supports gradient maps, yes.
Tormented
Then surely a G-Map could help the contrast a little bit, no?
.Rai
Photo manipulations are manipulations because they're still supposed to look vaguely photo-realistic. Why is the [s]soap[/s] [s]butter[/s] thing made up of basically 4 dithered tone. Did you put some sort of filter on it? Because it's really awful. Same with the red wing. You've put some sort of filter onto it and made it look bad. I genuinely cannot change this without telling you to restart the entire thing unless you've saved your previous steps before the filters (which I doubt because that double the size of the file). Thar
I didn't use a filter. It's all abused contrast.
.Rai
You went seriously, seriously crazy on the contrast. Thing is, you probably can't uncontrast it.
Thar
Nope, I can't. I was just trying to blend the focal to the background just a tad but it wasn't working, so I just tried to make it look not so bland. Next time I'll try something more realistic. I have something in mind.
