Think of it more as so long as they have the will to fight and it is not constantly being sapped out of them (as in the case of Ruri'iro Kujaku), they can keep pumping more out. Colonel Remo Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 I'm probably the only one who voted Akatsuki but I have my reasons if Tobi defeats Starrk (his intangibility basically screws over Cero Spam), Itachi takes Barragan (Amaterasu will burn until the target is defeated so it can't be aged to death) and Pain takes on Harribel (If the argument that Reiatsu converts over to chakra is allowed then ceros would be absorbed by Preta path and while Deva path and Outer Path hold down Haribel with Gravity and chakra chains respectivly, the human path would suck out her soul) while the rest of the akatsuki fights only to keep the rest of the Espada occupied for just little bit of time (if the Espada are allowed Nel that it only makes sense to include Orochimaru and possibly Kabuto). If push comes to shove than Tobi can use Izanagi and Itachi can use Izanami. This isn't including the fact that both sharingan users can use genjutsu which would basically screw the espada if they make eye contact (considering the fact that they don't know how to counter illusions in Bleach it's fair to say that Espada would be in a bit of a pinch to say the least). If the top three espada fall then it's not going to be a good fight for espada although they might have the edge if the three that fought the top espada are exhausted (only really Itachi although it might happen to Pain too) in which the Akatsuki would move to Tobi's pocket dimension Of course I'm only doing this for the sake of argument but the reality is that Akatsuki would only have a sliver of a chance if they went all out at the first chance and fully exploited every advantage they had Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So, if he makes eye contact with Tobi and Itachi, what then? Those three will probably be stuck in a stalemate for a LOOOOONG time, leaving Pain and everyone else to deal with the Espada. Of course, I don't know much about chakra, as I only play the Shippuden-era games. I only watched the anime up to the battle with Sasuke at the end of the original series. [/quote] Zommari controls with his eyes while Itachi (possibly Tobi as well we don't really know) can kill Also, would Taka be along side the Akastuki? And if Kabuto and orochimaru are fighing as well, doesn't that mean that since they can use Edo Tensei, they can bring back dead Akatsuki/Espada that have been defeated and use them as well? And if they WERE allowed, couldn't Kabuto simply stay inside Tobi's pocket dimension while Immortal Madara runs around with the clone army of himself? Chakra is based of a very similar concept to Riatsu, so one can infer that in the Bleach universe, the Akatsuki would be able to see and fight the Espada. However, such a comparison is pointless and shallow, as a character's fighting ability has nothing to do with how well they are written and how interesting they are. The Akatsuki, in my opinion, is far more interesting and more developed, so they "win" in the fictional sense. Even then, both are fairly cliche. I could write a manga right now where all the characters have the power to instantly erase any sentient being from existence just by willing it, and they would be able to defeat any character from either series, but that doesn't mean jack, because such a work of fiction would be boring as jack all. All in all, Naruto has better powers while Bleach has higher physical capabilities, based on what I've seen.
