Merci
These two drawings I made back in February in SAI for my first crush's birthday. Up to now, I still haven't fully mastered the art of blending in lines with the drawing...jeez. Just how do you blend in those thick lines with the colors around it?
Night
Tablet? Your anatomy is wonky but I quite like both of them. work on your shading and details.
Merci
Sort of. And thanks. Well, at least the proportions are correct. But shadings leave me confuzzled almost all the time...as in where do I put them and how much thickness? Ugh.
.Rai
First thing to determine is where your lighting source is. So, in the first picture, I'm gonna assume (considering the setting) that the lighting is from straight above. So like, with the hair, the top actually seems darker which would make little sense as it should be lighter. Same with the desks, where the sides should be darker and the top lighter. Things like that. Oh, and if you want to stop those annoying little borders between the colours and the lineart, put the colouring on a separate layer underneath the lineart and have the colouring go out by a pixel or so. I do like them both a lot.
Merci
*sighs* So much easier on paper.... But in any case, thanks! I'll be sure to keep those tips in mind next time I draw.
