lightswornGENEX
this was just originally a fun deck only using ice barriers as a "restriction" to duel my friend who used only 2 ice barriers in his wetlands deck. then i discovered the various effects that could make a really effective stall. i am unsure of the direction since this deck is transfering from being non-competitive to competitive... please provide feed back and suggestions on how i can improve this deck. 3 blizzed, defender of the ice barrier 3 caravan of the ice barrier 3 prior of the ice barrier 3 defender of the ice barrier 2 dai-sojo of the ice barrier 2 secret guards of the ice barrier 1 dance princess of the ice barrier 2 strategist of the ice barrier 1 general gantala of the ice barrier 1 general grunard of the ice barrier 2 medium of the ice barrier 3 medallion of the ice barrier 2 magic triangle of the ice barrier 1 big wave small wave 1 lightning vortex 1 monster reborn 1 swords of revealing light 2 mystical space typhoon 2 dark bribe 2 solemn warning 1 solemn judgement 1 horn of heaven EXTRA 1 brionac, dragon of the ice barrier 2 dewloren, tiger king of the ice barrier 3 gungnir, dragon of the ice barrier
Agro
There's actually another way around this. So your main goal will be to dump a s*** ton of monsters you want on the field to the Graveyard, I suggest using the Undine engine. Then just use a ton of revival. Gantala, Prior, Call of the Haunted, Reborn, Salvage. Those, in multiples except for Gantala and Reborn, revive anything you want on the field. As for s*** you want on the field, there's Gantala, Raiho, Dai-sojo, and Defender. The best one is probably Raiho, at least this format, with Gantala doing well to revive cards that you can sync or defend with. Does that strategy make sense to you? It's basically a game of conserving your resources and making your Opponent waste theirs in an attempt to get past your defenses. That's how you play Ice Barriers. And Defender's a tech, not a staple.

Agro
Which you'll then revive with a multitude of options so that you could go into other options that the first options could have done anyway. Doesn't it seem faster to just dump Prior's targets? It appears to be more direct.
byak
why would you even use the undine engine if it means you have to play controller and swap frog is an alternate method to get ice barriers out of your hand
Agro
I guess that works.
