RP Idea of mine: A Cardfight Vanguard RP. This RP is basically going to follow the story of the anime. I will later when the series end will make a sequel story with new characters. I have not thought about the plot for that idea in mind. I'll later post information about my characters whenever I have the time to do so.

The setting is a bleak fantasy world with drought, hate, war, anarchy and everything bad that you can imagine (think Berserk-esque, but worse). Though there exists very little magic and people greatly fear magic, there exists legends of various magical artifacts of a bygone era. Each of them has the ability to remedy a particular problem, for example curing a prominent disease or the ability to defeat any human opponent and etc. You cannot use these artifacts unless you speak their name when you touch them which then it is bound to you until you die and only you can use it.

A false rumor spreads, telling people that you actually only have to say "Fydele Reginae" upon touching the artifact, but in reality, upon saying those words, you are teleporting the artifact to the Princess, a mysterious caged girl in a golden castle within a pocket dimension, and if it is your first time saying it, you, too, are brought along.

As each artifact is unique, if it is the artifact you wish to have that got teleported to the Princess, you will have to follow the Princess's demands and form a deal with her to get it back. You will be sent to collect the rest of the artifacts with your fellow contractors until the Princess is satisfied, along the way facing many struggles as these artifacts are extremely valuable.

A basic rundown, there's more, but anyone interested? I'd also like co-host who can help think of more plots for the quests for artifacts. This is an RP with no definite end.

Which was when I remembered the old idea of someone else. Since Yu-Gi-Oh! had a Fairy-Type long before Pokemon, I pondered, 'Why not?'

So, I have a skeleton for the plot. It's based off the previous one not by me.

Cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh!-verse disappear from every series. One of each of course. Including the humanoid ones if you want to be with you're waifu. There's still Gardevoir but ew.
They end up in the Pokemon World, lost. They lose their memories and recover them over the course of the RP. Depending on the monster, they are capable of speech.
The RPers find them injured/lost/etc and bring them home.

But yes, I'm still thinking about the Region and the Evil Team.

Of course, 'dem Yu-Gi-Oh!s are capable of evolving like Pokemon. For e.g., the White Stone of Legends evolves into Blue-Eyes and then into something else. The RP uses Pokemon mechanics and no Yugioh mechanics.

Also, as of this period, Mega Evolutions are one step closer to regular evolutions, as Pokemon with Mega Evolutions can benefit from Eviolite.

Being new to the World of Pokemon as a whole, Duel Monsters are still being researched on, and hence, lack Mega Evolutions... for now. However, some forms, like Assault Modes, work like Mega Evolutions. The Gene Splicer works like Polymerization(although i will allow some Fusions to evolve from their materials through other means).

I'll allow custom moves abilities, but only if they are variations of already existing ones.

We need more RPs.... This is is just the skeleton of an idea. It's in a world inhabited by thousands of species. From like skeleton spider things to like kitty snakes. The role players could invent their own species, or be part of one created by another player. In said RP, strange things begin to happen, like a village disappearing here, a strange message written there, but then something serious happens. Creatures start dying by the hundreds, all over the place. One day, a group of different species receives a letter to come to some strange place. They are all there to try and find out what is happening, and save the world... IDK, I'll need help.

I am thinking of starting a Pokemon RP that isn't placed in the canon universe. Instead of turning to technology, the people of the land focused more on forming bonds with Pokemon and learning to channel their power as their own. So for example, a Pokemon Trainer in this world will only have at a max, three Pokemon. The Pokemon they have simply follow them around, as there is no technology whatsoever. People learn to use Pokemon moves for themselves, channeling the power of Pokemon they own and on occasion, channeling the power of a Legendary. Legendaries are revered as deities and have their own group of followers. Those in the higher up sects of the Legendary's cult-like followers, are able to channel the Legendary's powers for their own. It is just a work in progress, so I am just posting it here to see if anyone is interested in an idea like this.

Yes, they can be kept in Pokeballs, even the humanoid ones.
They just regard that the Duel Monsters are, indeed, just rather unique Pokemon that appeared out of the blue the same way eggs create themselves from thin air.

After Arc 2 of the GCRP is over, I sort of plan on taking a little break from there and give people plenty of time to make more apps.
 
But in the meantime, you know, right now I'm torn between remaking Legend Moon (which only failed because I dragged it out too long, I'll fix that mistake next time) or going straight to Legend Nature first.
 
Legend Nature is a remake is this huge mess of a roleplay, and a prequel to the Legend series by over two thousand years.
 
Since the stories for both races are drastically different, there'll be two plots, one for the elves and one for the humans.

Your assigned A.I pilot - Odin - will make sure to continually replay this video every twenty years to you. Should you ever wish to watch this video again, it is accessible on your anPad X, a technological device designed specifically for interstellar travel, unknown environments, and generational inheritance. We have thousands stored, all with the needed data, and each of them able to last up to thousands of years.

Now then, let me to get to the main point.
 
In Earth time, the date of this recording is 2191, but if you are listening to this, over twelve thousand years will have passed since it was destroyed by an unusual wave-matter crimson comet which we call FIRE, so don't bother coming back.

In order to save humanity, we have been forced to send several space-shuttles piloted by AI robots into outer space, each traveling at a tenth the speed of light, all targeted to as many potential terrestrial planets as possible. I am the current chairman of IESA, and this operation has been approved by nearly all the major powers, including the United Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Principality of Sealand... I am listing these now because they won't mean anything to you. You'll have new structures, new rules and new governments, and whether it's a monarchy or a democracy, I can only hope that it will be peaceful.

However, while this is the end of us, this will be the beginning for you all. You are the new humanity. We were weak, but you... you must all evolve to your greatest potential and master whatever world you arrive upon, and remember *prolonged static for ten seconds* WAR!

Someday in the distant future, humanity must reunite once more, but by then, you will all be different. None of you will be 'homo sapiens' anymore. You will all have become something far, FAR greater than us.

I wrote down the elves' plot as well, but it's lost somewhere amongst the ocean of drafts and stuff on my laptop.

[spoiler=Anyway, the gist of the plot is this (it won't actually be written this way, and be divided for the two races);]

 

After millennia of warring, on an alien moon many lightyears away from Earth designated 'L-8' where magic can exist, peace has settled amongst the elven inhabitants. While the dark elves refused and disappeared underground, the high elves and wood elves have interbred with each other other the past centuries, and are actively working to make the world a better place using magic.

However, everything changed when a gigantic spaceship descended from the heavens twenty years ago, bringing with it a thousand human beings recently awakened from chronostatis.

 

Though both races desired peace, tension quickly grew between them, especially between the High Queen of the elven race and the AI that controls the human spaceship headquarters, due to the fact that humans are using the planet's natural resources, introducing invasive livestock, and setting up technology that interfere with the view of the night sky.

 

It culminates when, several months ago, the volcanic planet it orbits suddenly vanished before being replaced by a much more familiar moon - if only bigger - causing much turmoil for L-8. The blame is obviously shifted onto the humans, and though they know that this is technologically impossible, they are unable to explain it. War quickly erupts.
 

Odin, having been programmed for such a scenario, has decided that elves are hopeless and doesn't hesitate to grant humans permission to utilize combat exoskeletons and highly-advanced weaponry all the while directing them in warfare, in order to combat the sophisticated magic of the elves and ensure their survival. This only intensifies the aggression of the elves.

 

...But even then, there is hope. The daughter of the High Queen, Princess Elvsia, believes that peace can still be made between the two races, and that the AI can be reasoned with. That is why she has gathered as many willing participants as possible in order to embark on the quest of getting onto the spaceship and changing its mind, hopefully before it's too late.

 

Will you join her in her quest for peace, or will you work to eradicate the other race? Will you uphold, or will you betray? Will you stay sane, or will you go insane?

Alright, so here's an RP Idea I came up with...

 

 

Duel Academy has always been a strange place. As a school dedicated to teaching the Universe's most important card game, it has to be. But recent events have given this strangeness an importance that it has never before possessed.

It began at midnight, a week into the first term. Many duelists in the academy awoke in a void, confronted by two of their cards made real. For each person, the experience proceeded more or less the same.

The smaller of the two cards introduced itself as their "Duel Spirit," an emissary between them and the Shadows. They were here to give their master an important message:

 

The Gods Have Fallen

 

This is a truth that none can deny. Slifer, Ra, and Obelisk, the three gods of the shadows, have lost their divinity and been cast down. And their absence leaves a void that can now be filled.

In the absence of the Gods, the Stewards of the shadows have sought out those Monsters who possess divine potential, who may step up to fill that gap. And they also found the duelists who wield those monsters in their decks. It is these which have also appeared before their duelists: The candidates for godhood.

But it is not that easy. Only the mightiest are fit to rule the shadows, and "Fallen" does not mean "Dead"…

 

 

So yeah, a big tournament to determine what monsters replace the Egyptian God Cards as the rulers of the Shadow Realm. I suppose I should expand on the specifics, though:

 

 

While each Duelist has been nominated, their candidate lacks the "spark" necessary to be a true candidate. In order to gain this spark, they must either defeat a person who has a Duel Spirit, or a "Dark Duelist."

"Dark Duelists" have appeared in Duel Academy. Their significance and origins are unknown. They can only be seen by people who possess Duel Spirits, but will become partially visible to all once they have begun a duel with someone. Each Dark Duelist has special rules imposed on a Duel with them, different for each one. Sometimes these rules are fair; often they are not.

There can only be three victorious candidates.

Once your candidate has the spark, a "Shadow Mark" will appear on their card. Candidate Duelists may wager Shadow Marks on duels, and may also give away their Shadow Marks to other candidates if they wish.

The winners are the three with the most Shadow Marks at the end of sixty days.

Additional Shadow Marks may be won by Duels with Dark Duelists. However, they will not accept challenges from Duelists who already have Shadow Marks; you must allow or convince them to challenge you instead.

The Stewards of the Shadows have taken up residence on the campus, one in each Dorm. You may speak with them for clarifications and the like.

You may give up Shadow Marks to a Steward in exchange for the ability to initiate a Shadow Game. A Shadow Game may be initiated whenever you duel someone who possesses a Duel Spirit. A Shadow Game imposes a specific set of abnormal rules on both players, rules which may or may not effect the rules of the duel itself. Only one set of Shadow Game rules may be in play in one duel, barring extraordinary circumstances. If you lose a Shadow Game that you initiated, you lose half your Shadow Marks after handing over your wager. If your wager would leave you with no Shadow Marks, your candidate loses their spark and you will have to win it back. You may not initiate Shadow Games against Dark Duelists, barring extraordinary circumstances.

You may also give shadow marks to a steward in exchange for "upgrades" to other related abilities. Each Steward has a different set of upgrades to offer, which can only be accessed by residents of their dorm. The steward at Slifer Red generally offers upgrades related to Duel Spirits, Obelisk Blue for God Candidates, and Ra Yellow has upgrades that are analytical and technical in focus, allowing things like identifying a person's Duel Spirit on sight. These aren't the only things exclusive to those dorms though, but they make up the majority.

 

 

There would be multiple people acting as "DMs," these people would, in addition to overseeing things, roleplay multiple Dark Duelists.

 

Given the.... complexity of the idea, it may be necessary to host this on a dedicated RP site though.

I've been writing up a steampunk military academy roleplay set in a massive warring world.

In this world, there exists a force called Animus, which is generally wielded as a fighting energy (like chi, aura, blah, blah), but can be also used to control automatons which range from foot soldiers to Skyrim dwarven centurions to bronze dragons. You are training as a Knight-Engineer, a fighter who can also utilise these automatons as powerful servants and engines of war.

And as you enroll into the academy, you will be drawn into a grand conspiracy.

Additional ideas are accepted, so you can create nearly any sort of character you want.
