Just a suggestion: Moonblast is a Fairy Type attack, and Fairy is weak against Fire. Maybe you could consider this, but I suppose your RP is your RP.
Hmmm... I always wanted an RP where people could have Fakemon provided they were balanced.
So, is this in a new region or are we spread across the six main ones?

Well, I honestly don't think there's any other way of dodging ranged attacks then. Of course, really, really pro players may be able to jerk their gun to the side at the last moment or something when the bullet fires to make it harder.

 

As for the world itself, I'd still prefer a fantasy setting than something like RWBY. What if it were a fantasy world littered with sci-fi ruins to make guns make sense?

Well, alright, there are still going to be two more arcs for the GCRP and I still have a plan for Legend Moon and Nature RP remakes, so I kinda have my hands full right now...but I think I still might be able to manage, though I'll probably have to get a co-host this time to help support me ^_^;

 

The plot is fairly simple. About a year after the Colossal Titan attacked, while the Recon Corps are on another (hopeless) expedition, several members suddenly vanished into thin air while alone from everyone else, not responding to any sent signals. The disappeared members are left for dead. However, unbeknownst to them, these members have awakened inside what appears to be a huge forest, possibly far from the safehaven of the Walls. Of course, Titans are crawling about everywhere, and it's up to them to survive. To make things worse, there may actually be a Titan shapeshifter amongst them...but who is it, there's no telling. If there's any comfort, one of the members holds what appears to be an ancient map from the time before Titans, which may allow them to find home should they manage to get out of the forest, together.

 

In such a situation, resources are scarce, and overuse of your 3D Manuever Gear is dangerous (once it runs out, you can't refill, so travelling on foot is recommended - after all, you'll need enough to climb the walls) as is damage to your swords. You can't trust anyone either, and the circumstances of how you got there anyway remain unknown. As you might have guessed, it's a survival-adventure RP.

Well, the idea I got... just now, of course, is based on one of my characters.

 

Intended name: "Files of Jesse X: Raising in the Five Dragons"

 

This is about a set of five schools, jointly named the "Five Dragons of Odaiba",  that share a large field. In the middle of each field there's a statue with five dragons representing each of the five schools. The schools are the Magical Apple School for Magical Girls, the Rose Sword School for Magical Boys, the Iron Titans School for Mecha Pilots, the Shinseiken School for Fighters and the Hell's Gate School for Monsters and Mystical Beings. Yup, it happens government is tired of these beings fighting all over and destroying everything and they made these schools to try and make all of them try to leave in harmony in some way. The five schools have a pact of non-aggression, although some people might not agree with it.

 

The schools are also regularly visited by a young cyborg kid called Juan Carlos Xavier (it's pronounced Zah-vier, it's Spanish), a.k.a. Jesse X (J.C.X.). The kid never had an accident or a threat to his life or something like that, but when he saw a fighting robot once, he wanted to be like him, so he went to see the robot's creator, who was waiting to be able to show his abilities as a roboticist by making a cyborg, but he was not allowed to work on injured people. It was not the same than being asked by a person to become a cyborg, as government decided to support Jesse's operation (they first tried to dissuade them, but it was clear to them the guy was too stupid to be convinced, so they left it like that). I was a full success and now Jesse's 95% metal, circuits and wires (only long bones -covered in metal-, marrows, heart -heavily protected- and brain -also well secured- are human), all of which allows him to do incredible feats (like Inspector Gadget... and just as chaotic as him).

 

Along with the guy, there's the fact that people in the schools are secretly conspiring to cause the treat to fall apart, which is the reason Jesse's there: he has the mind of a human, not bound to cold logic and able to think outside the box, but the heart of a metal warrior, bound to his duty to save the people from the chaos these five schools can cause... well, actually is the fact he's just too out of his mind to be drawn outside of his duty, specially he has no stomach to distract him into eating. He'll appear just when things are either too difficult or to boring. He might also be the reason for some things to happen around.

 

So, what do you think?

Unfortunately sounds like it could all revolve around a "main character", and in roleplays that's (generally) not a good idea. The logistics don't work well and people don't like being overshadowed (again, this is generally, not always)

That does sound nice, R. Surraco. I'd definitely join in. Apart from what DarkWithin said, it's definitely something people would enjoy.

Although Academies have been used many times, it doesn't make them a bad idea at all.

I too, had plans to make an RP based on one of my characters, but that RP was too much of an unintended Nurarihyon no Mago ripoff set in ancient Nippon.

Well, my plans for my Pokemon RP still stand.

You are a child in the world of Pokemon. One day, you are kidnapped by a mysterious group of scientists, into an unknown lab where they begin to perform many experiments on you. It was pure suffering, pure pain. You note that a few other children, too, share your fate.

After five years, the great escape began. This can be credited to the collars that the scientists attached to your neck and the odd crystal inserted into your body. During a field experiment, one of the children, Ophelia, proceeds to tamper with her collar, effectively evolving and destroying the illegal facility, allowing everyone to escape with her.

They children venture into a nearby forest to find an abandoned, ancient city where they believed they could restart their lives. However, they soon realised that this city was inhabited by a small civilisation of Pokemon, lead by King Jolteon. For some reason, these children have the ability to communicate with Pokemon. Apparently, these Pokemon don't trust humans that much...

The scientists still track them down, and the Pokemon hate them. Life was going to be hard.

Now that you all mention, the academies by themselves would be nice to go. Also, Jesse is not always there when needed. He spe4nds the most of time flying around the town and only stops there when things are too out of control.

The setting is a bleak fantasy world with drought, hate, war, anarchy and everything bad that you can imagine (think Berserk-esque, but worse). Though there exists very little magic and people greatly fear magic, there exists legends of various magical artifacts of a bygone era. Each of them has the ability to remedy a particular problem, for example curing a prominent disease or the ability to defeat any human opponent and etc. You cannot use these artifacts unless you speak their name when you touch them which then it is bound to you until you die and only you can use it.

A false rumor spreads, telling people that you actually only have to say "Fydele Reginae" upon touching the artifact, but in reality, upon saying those words, you are teleporting the artifact to the Princess, a mysterious caged girl in a golden castle within a pocket dimension, and if it is your first time saying it, you, too, are brought along.

As each artifact is unique, if it is the artifact you wish to have that got teleported to the Princess, you will have to follow the Princess's demands and form a deal with her to get it back. You will be sent to collect the rest of the artifacts with your fellow contractors until the Princess is satisfied, along the way facing many struggles as these artifacts are extremely valuable.

A basic rundown, there's more, but anyone interested? I'd also like co-host who can help think of more plots for the quests for artifacts. This is an RP with no definite end.

Say, I have an idea revolving a concept I had in one of my old RPs, Devil Relics. They are basically relics that have gained sentience through a curse of sorts.

In this RP, Devil Relics can be classed into Poltergeists, which were humans at first, but possessed and lived in an inanimate object while inflicting a curse, then rising from their slumber when the object gains sentience.

And the second class is Tsukumogami, which are the objects themselves gaining sentience all of a sudden.

Devil Relics spring from sentience only from Cursed Relics, which are either cursed inanimate objects. Stronger Cursed Relics originate from Arcanite Relics, weaker Cursed Relics originate from regular, inanimate objects.

Something as simple as throwing away useless objects can trigger a weak curse, resulting in low-levelled Tsukumogami.

I've explained the concepts, now...

Basically, there is an organisation known as the 'Devil Relic Research Agency', or DRRA, which researches on Cursed and Devil Relics alike. Additionally, they also protect Devil Relics from others, and others from Devil Relics.

There are many organisations who wish to use the power of Cursed and Devil Relics for bad purposes, one such organisation being 'the Syndicate'.

You are a trainee member of the DRRA, specifically, the Epsilon Squadron led by a boy/girl known as Gin Furukawa. You have been requested to join this possibly because you were already involved with the world of magic for at least a long time and are eager to help, or have acquainted with a Devil Relic.

Oh and if this doesn't get anyone going...then I suppose I'll a bunny girl who acts as the ref for different Gift Games (yeah, that happened in the anime ^^)

Alright, I've halfway planned my remake of X-Over Academy. It will occur in a 19th century setting instead of modern times.
First I need a grasp at how mage academies work.

Also, speaking of amine inspiration, I've looked through a few harems and whatnot. In fact, my previous post here was partially inspired by C cube. The concept, at least. I need a good name for it.

How would he have manipulated the entire world?
Of course the greatest Duelists are conveniently joined and card games save the world.

Part of it will be in the first post where he completes the project. But my idea is that he uses an Experiment using a time-space warp he created along with ancient magic, Duel Monsters game/ritual and a wormhole.

Yes, the other thing is that he made it that this world is linked to specific points. Destroying those points and defeating him will save the world.

To be honest, I'm trying to think of something besides the plot and that OC's and Canon characters can be used... How have others made their's unique? (I'm a bit new to making RP's...)

Seriously though, give a reason why people are using card games and don't blast the scientist in the face with a shotgun. Also making a villain not "pure evil" would be best, because it is literally impossible to be purely evil, I know Merciful made an RP post about somewhere around here, but I can't seem to find it. Anywho, the rest is up to you, I can't really tell you who to make something creative.

The only way to restore the world is to defeat the scientist in a duel. (I may also have that there is a kind of barrier that protects him from psychical attacks) of course he won't be completely evil, but still evil.
I meaning just what did they use to make them unique so I can have an idea of how RP's are unique.
