@Renegade: Well, not at first, but later, we are allowed to acquire our own Pokemon via befriending.

I'm already beginning to plan my Kamen Rider RP. Since it's Academy Style, you aren't limited by a theme. You can choose any theme you want, Martial Arts, Norse mythology, Christian mythology, but of course, it must be a very specific aspect of the theme.

I have two rough ideas for a Yu-Gi-Oh! RP.
The first is a 5D's-themed Yu-Gi-Oh! RP involving an alternate group of Signers and Dark Signers, basically playing out the first season with completely different characters and some altered circumstances.
The second is a ZEXAL-themed Yu-Gi-Oh! RP with Astralians and Barians waging a proxy war on Earth using Rank-Ups. Unlike the anime, the Astralians will actually do crap against their aggressors instead of send an amnesiac member of their society with multiple personality issues.
But I can only do one.

Posting this here now, anyway, a fantasy war RP:

 

“And the Fates have foretold, of black wings in the cold, that when brothers wage war come unfurled! awakened Demon of old, the amalgamation of hate rising from the west! Thy Most Wretched One returns, as the thirteenth day adjourns, to put this ugly world to rest!

 

[hr]As the prophets foretold, on January 13, the Most Wretched One, a being not from this world with unimaginable power awakens in the westernmost point of the Continent, the Black Volcano, an extinct ash volcano. The Most Wretched One awakens with only one thought and purpose in mind: to destroy the world.

 

Our main protagonist, name yet to be decided and will be played by me, is one born with the birthmark of a Hero, meaning his destiny is to defend the world from supernatural threat, is sent to face this menace with an army from the westernmost country Endor, behind him. He takes the escort up until the Black Volcano, which then he tells the army that he will deal with it on his own. But, instead of facing the Most Wretched One in an epic showdown, he asks the Most Wretched One why he wants to destroy the world.

 

The Most Wretched One answers simply, "Because this world is ugly."

 

The Hero tells him that it is not and asks if the Most Wretched One would allow him to try to prove to him that the world is not so horrible as he may think and anything can be fixed.

 

The Most Wretched One then concedes to the logic that he has not actually seen the world and takes on a human form to become the Hero's companion.

 

However, proving that this world is not ugly can be a hard task as this is a fantasy world where slavery is accepted as essential and the Holy Empire (I need to find a better name) is invading Endor. Endor is a country of magic, which the Holy Empire prohibits, and all citizens of Endor are born with magical talent so the Holy Empire orders the extermination of the Endor race.

 

The Hero must attempt to stop this war to prove to the Most Wretched One that things can change.

 

 

[hr]I will need someone to play the role of the Most Wretched One. The other characters can be anyone that can possibly become the Hero's friend and travel with him. I do have a possible role/backstory that would be heavily plot-involved as well if anyone wants. I'd like the characters created before I flesh everything out to maximize plot involvement, so submit apps to me via PM or in the RP&D thread if you are interested.

And here I am with another RP idea, I guess. Basically, teens are invited to a very prestigious academy for no apparent reason (or you could have one of your own). As it turns out, it was a trap (surprise, surprise). At any rate, at the opening ceremony it is announced that some of the students are vampires out to hunt the humans. However, there is no physical difference between humans and vampires.
 
I'm still thinking whether humans or vampires should form the majority or the student body.
 
Anyway, anyone interested?
 
Oh and there's also my other idea about the dreams where you have to do something or you don't get to wake up.

You could make it Dangan Ronpa style, or do it similar the rabbit doubt game. I would also have to say make the majority humans just so that there can be more murders.

I keep getting animu-esque ideas but most of them can't be converted to RP ideas.

And I'm still mindstuck with my Kamen Rider RP plans. Well, I have many RPs to partake in any ways so I should be fine by the time I can host it.

Well, here's one of the plots I'm thinking of. Instead of remaking my dead RP Nirvana, why not make a sequel? I call it Nirvana: Apocalypse.[hr]Magic had always been unknown to the world. No one but those who wielded it truly knew that it existed. These people existed on the magic side of the world, known as the Magic World, Nirvana. Nirvana was governed by seven families, representing Light, Darkness, Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, and of course, Absence.

One day, a silent war was waged upon Nirvana. Two factions - the Library and the Void, discovered Nirvana and proceeded to attack it in order to acquire its magic, hoping to fuse it with their science to produce a fusion of both - Arcatech, which was fabled to be an unstoppable thing, stoppable only by other forms of Arcatech. They intended to use the magic for evil uses.

This fighting stopped 20 years later in circa 2030, when a young lady appeared. She introduced magic to the rest of the world, in turn ensuring that it fell into good hands before it fell into the bad. She had previously stated this as a last resort for peace. Before anyone could hunt her down for this seemingly foolish act, she vanished.

During this time, chaos was beginning to grow. The Great World Tree Yggdrasil began to tremble and soon, the seven gears within it shot up into the sky and were scattered all over the globe.

By circa 2075, the long-term effects... were horrifying to watch. Magic allowed technology to advance, and technology allowed magic to evolve. This was clear evidence that the amalgamation of magic and technology were never meant to be. Nature was being depleted for futuristic highways and high-rise buildings. 70% of Earth's known species had gone extinct. Supernatural beings now wreak havoc in cities, having lost their natural habitat.

The Seven Nirvana families are now a thing of a past. With the fast-paced world, they have vanished into nothingness. From their ashes rose the Seven Sages, each descending from a respective family. With their combined forces, they will restore peace to this world by fighting on, and of course, find the seven gears to power the Yggdrasil in order to bring the world back to life...

I've got a tough idea right now, and it'd take some time to write up and do it right, but I'll mention it:

My idea is to take mech warriors (Gundam-esque mechs, which, if you've seen the older show, have the operator hooked up to many different parts that let you control the mech well) and add in a horror element: a type of enemy that attacks from the inside. Meaning they infiltrate the mech and attack the operator directly instead, when they're at their most vulnerable.

With horror I understand you've got to be careful and keep people from going overboard, and I'm sure I can do it. I'm going to make this as detailed and immersive as I can, if anyone's interested.

Also, I'd be looking for someone to help run things when I'm not around.

With the new X and Y coming out soon, I had two Pokemon RP ideas back there, one about Duel Monsters in the Pokemon World and following Pokemon mechanics, the other is about Mega Evolving human experiments who have escaped from a laboratory.

Now, I intend to add a little something to the latter idea.

While running away from the scientists after them, they venture upon a civilization of Pokemon. Due to the Humanite Samples that have been etched in their bodies, they have gained the ability to talk to Pokemon, in addition to their other, new abilities.

And for the rest of the plot... still pondering.

Well, there's a lot to it that really becomes apparent in Arc 3 (There are 4 arcs altogether).

Here's the deal. There are two Ancient Legendaries that were known before the time of Arceus (this is an alternate universe so how Arceus came to be is very much different than what we've seen): Solari and Lunari. If you already have guessed, Solari is of the sun (and technically is a Fire Type), and Lunari is of the Moon, automatically being considered as a Water Type. There would come a time where Solari and Lunari would unite to lay waste to the corruption of the world and bring peace once more. But how they do it is a secret, but will shock you when it's revealed.

If anyone wants details, then I'll gladly create a PM.

Just a suggestion: Moonblast is a Fairy Type attack, and Fairy is weak against Fire. Maybe you could consider this, but I suppose your RP is your RP.

Hmmm... I always wanted an RP where people could have Fakemon provided they were balanced.

So, is this in a new region or are we spread across the six main ones?
