Ren✧
I wish we would be able to do something like this, but I feel that Rinne would lock it. Why? As long as there was actually a plot instead of mindless violence, then I don't see a problem with it.

Jolta
it may just me but who wants a good slice of life rp Count me in! I have pondered about the remaking of my dead Crossover RP, the one where you summon characters as your familiars. Should it take place in a modern-day world or a rather medieval world? Kōsuke Ueki
Modern. But let's make it like there's this dimension that allows access to summoning these familiars. And there can be instances where you become a familiar yourself. I'm trying to think of that anime where that sort of things happen and time around the duel stops. Jolta
Well, I'm thinking of, just like the current Crossover RP, that familiars are only limited to canon characters or characters previously used in RPs or Fanfics of this Forum. Conjuring a familiar made just for this RP... Not much of a crossover. Besides, the Masters were already the ones made for this RP. Well, I guess some characters can exist in the same canon as the RP, provided it's an original RP that doesn't majorly involve the world and such. DarkWithin9867
I have an idea that I've been working hard on during my long absence, but was spawned over a year ago. It's a futuristic/fantasy rp (I'm bad with some of these terms... Maybe cyberpunk is better than "futuristic"...) set in a world I've created entirely from scratch, from the magic elements (some people were born able to use magic, some have to use technology that replicates the effects of magic, and there IS a third dangerous alternative. More on that in the actual OOC)... My current idea is to have sandbox elements and add in just enough of a plot rail to keep things from coming to a complete standstill. Of course, you could always ignore the incredibly evil force amassing its power and attempting to destroy life as we know it, but would you REALLY do that? For an idea of what I mean when I say futuristic, think Final Fantasy XIII minus all the godlike entities keeping the people alive and enslaving some to use as guardians or soldiers. Because those don't exist in this. There are demons, and angelic beings, but they aren't all-powerful; in fact, they can die just as easily as ordinary humans. I'll just go work on the OOC >.< I'm horrible at summarizing my ideas.

Most of the RPs we get are either anime-title specific or pure fantasy, so a more futuristic one would be great. ... Unfortunately, I might not be able to join in; I'm in the middle of setting up my own RP, so I'll only have time to join those I can jump right into. I'll be sure to look through the OOC once it's up though.
Astolfo
It's something that Torm mentioned via Skype and statuses, but what about an RP based off of RWBY? We don't need it to be all the same, but the idea of Hunter abilities and the weapons and Dust and stuff could work. It's still just thinking, but would anyone be interested? ◇ Void ◇
I do have some rough ideas for a Yu-Gi-Oh roleplay that is based on the original concept by Kazuki Takahashi, while tying into the Duel Monsters mythos. In Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium World, it's mentioned that the Egyptians created the Millennium Items from a spell they deciphered from the Millennium Spellbook. However, no other mention of the book is made afterwords. So, what if the book survives to the modern day, for a new villain to create new Millennium Items and resurrect the shadow games? And I'm not talking about "playing a card game to the death" kind of shadow games. I mean the ones that you might have seen in the original manga and season zero. Stabbing knives into paper notes without stabbing yourself, a awkward game of luck while dangling on a rope on top of the school's bell tower and that sort of stuff. It's a nice change from the childish tones we have gotten from Yu-Gi-Oh with Zexal.

We know enough to create our own story. Not particularly but I had a thought of the overdone "College" system but then a criminal organization attack the college and that's sort of where the story begins, maybe the criminals want the dust that the college has idfk. But something to start with.

But something to start with. I'd consider joining if the plot is good, though it could probably only be inspired by the series considering we know so little. On another note I was thinking of starting a Dangan Ronpa RP, and I've got the plot hammered down, but I'm unsure how many people to accept and how many NPC's to use so that you could have enough class trials. I have also thought about how we make the killings more secretive. Don't want the mystery to be too easy. Well I was thinking just outrageous amounts of NPC death, and probably uping the amount of people who are around (to 25 - 35) so that I could accept more than 6 characters. I've actually already thought up some of the killings, and I've been going through the game again figuring out how to make it a bit difficult for the RPer's to figure out with as little possible help from the NPC's. This could work.... Well... do note that once they guess the culprit wrongly, the game is over. I'm OK with this as long as it's not too early, but I don't know about you. (GigaDrillBreaker)
I am considering writing up an RP that mostly follows the concepts of steampunk, but also includes a hint of magic. Before I put too much work into it, does anybody think they might be vaguely interested?
Tormented
Based on/inspired by, same difference. Creating a plot line is probably going go to be the hardest part, we don't want to copy RWBY but we don't want to be straying away from it so much that it's something completely different. I'll get to thinking over the next few days, and I'll post an OOC thread when I've got something.

As far as I can tell, monsters are pretty mindless, so I'd assume they'd be relatively easy to deal with... what if intelligent monsters started appearing or something and they lead the other monsters (and they are also more powerful and can use Dust or something)? We could then incorporate my last idea of having a criminal organization be the one who produced all the smart minded monsters, it could work. I'll get to writing something up soon. Jolta
I finally thought of something. A group of children from different times and alternate realities are summoned to the Sengoku Period, only to meet and be acquainted by Kenshin Uesagi. I thought that instead of Nobunaga, another figure would be nice. I still need to expand on this. I'm still thinking, since allowing too many other warlords would be... quite a lot. Aix
Just some RP ideas I've been thinking about. Again, the dreams idea, where each night, in your dreams, you and other people have to do this stuff otherwise you don't get to wake up. It also so happens that all of you will suffer tragedy in your lives. [hr]Another idea, which I have no clue what I should name: So more than 10000 years ago, there existed a great many gods (not the omnipotent type) scattered across the world which humanity worshipped and in return, the gods granted them prosperity. Crops would flourish, hunt would be plentiful and they had magic, supernatural power borrowed from the gods. This was a peaceful Golden Age. However, around years ago, the gods were forced into slumber, magic disappeared and something or someone tried to remove all traces of the gods' and magic's influences. Who did this and why they did it was unknown, but humanity was suddenly left to fend for themselves, though they still had basic knowledge of stuff like farming and crafting basic items. Now, modern day, humanity has advanced and the gods began to awaken. This is an RP of ancient gods surviving in modern day society. As for the plot, some gods may want to reclaim their former glory and worshippers while others simply are happy to live with humans and see how the world has changed. There's also the organisation that sealed them away. [hr]I've also been thinking of a Durarara/Baccano-type of RP, this time taking place on a modern day cruise ship. Everyone has their own storyline and plot and reasons and it all collides aboard the ship. Magic and the supernatural is allowed, you can be some sort of vampire, fairy, whatever, as long as it makes sense that most people don't know such things exist. You are also allowed to be an antagonist. There is a secret conspiracy on the ship, but I won't spoil it.
