So I was drumming up ideas for a new RP, centered around 'power'. Basically, I have two ideas.

a) A group of villains with borderline broken abilities took over the world, and in a last-ditch effort a group of heroes were able to transfer the villains consciousness and their own into another universe, into alternate versions of themselves. These alternate versions - the player characters - are otherwise normal people who suddenly have access to the previously mentioned borderline broken abilities, but now there's a sinister voice in the back of their heads that may be gaining power over their own psyche.
The heroes responsible for banishing the villains are also around, looking for a more permanent solution to take care of these villians, resorting to murder if need be.

B) Classic fantasy RP, about the emergence of magic. Random people are popping out with the ability to cast magic; and since magic is something brand new, the 'first magicians' have almost limitless potential in the ways they handle raw magic. And by 'almost limitless' I mean just that, pretty much anything goes here. The player characters, among the ranks of the 'first magicians', have to contend with the fears and superstitions from the mundane folk, other magicians who abuse their power, and to discover a way to use magic without slowly killing themselves.


So.. yeah. Two different ideas I'm mulling over. Either of them sound like a good idea?

I like both of them, but if I had to pick I'd say the second one.

So I know I've suggested the idea of a forum-wide roleplay, but that's a long term project. Right now I have an idea for a prehistoric Pokemon roleplay, set in the early dawn of human civilization. It will follow five clans of humans and their partner Pokemon as they wander the land (most directly inspired by Orre) as they receive prophetic visions from the legendaries, who generally act as spiritual advisors. Based on this very rough pitch, would anyone be interested?

Of course, I would presume that synthethics like Porygon or Castform are not allowed. As much as Mewtwo appeared in the Sengoku period.

Grimer, Voltorb, Magnemite, Porygon, Mewtwo, Baltoy, Castform, Beldum, Deoxys, Spiritomb, Rotom, Trubbish, Elgyem, Golett, and Genesect won't appear. Neither will their evolutions. As for fossil Pokemon, they will appear and you will be able to use them freely.

Maybe you could start the OoC after the release of XY. Just a suggestion for enhanced popularity and glory. And Fairies.

Anyways, I got an idea or two.

Basically, a few kids are among the few who have acquired items known as 'Cards', which are creatures based on all forms of history and mythology and bind themselves to the user and can be summoned to fight others.

These kids were lucky to acquire rare cards known as 'Legend Summons', which are being pursued by an evil organisation that intends to use these cards for unknown purposes.

That's all I have for now. Still deciding on whether I should base the position of the Legend Summons on Tarot Cards, seven sins or the Zodiac.

I'm thinking of a PokemonxSnK crossover known as 'Attack on Kyurem: Fall of Lacunosa'.

And there's this other idea which basically has the concept of Hyperdimension Neptunia.
But with the Internet instead of games.

I was thinking of doing a Yu-Gi-Oh! RP about when Atlantis first started using the Orichalcus Stones and so to counter their expansion Mu makes a contract with a being from another dimension(Don Thousand) for Baria Crystals, and some of them are made into Barians. The RP involve people in both nations realizing the true nature of the power they're, along with the battles between nations and good old fashion dueling.

Well Marble Hornets does a crappy job at making Slender Man scary. I have a huge set of notes that makes it better. I do enjoy the Silent Hill series, but I do not know enough about it to do an RP over it. I would enjoy doing a Zombie Apocalypse if anyone is interested.

At some random high school, there's been an N-way tie for the title of Prom Queen (where N is the number of active participants) so Vice Principal Koob decides the best way to settle the debate would be a game of musical chairs. Drama ensues.

Rules:
- Must be all female profiles, except for Vice Principal Koob and possibly one boy, but he'd have to be super flamboyant.

- All the girls (or a majority!?) should hate each other.


How it works: Vice Principal Koob (that's me!) would post that the music started. People are free to RP about, as their characters circle the chairs. They'd make caddy bitch comments, or be annoying, or basically just insult each other. The I'd post again, to say the music stopped. When the music stops, everyone must post that they sit down, stretch it out to four lines. Last person to post (or the one person to not post) is eliminated.

Also it may include a dumb prize of points or something.

RPing is always about epic dumb fantasy and powertrips. I'd like a super simple, super easy RP with a clear beginning, middle and end.

"How would I stretch out 'She walked around the chair' or 'She sat down' for 4+ sentences?"

If you don't believe you have the skill enough to RP it, you probably shouldn't join. Skilled RP-ers is what I want. Ones who can go at a length on the most mundane.

Basically, a group of people, when they sleep, go to this Dream World, where they must travel and make it to checkpoints as well as complete objectives or else they don't get to wake up. It also appears that everyone in this group faces or are going to face tragedy in their real lives. Also, what they do, what they see and what happens in the Dream World reflects things that happen in their real life. Basically, it's a psychological type of RP. Additional Details: They have special powers in the Dream World to help them complete these objectives. Interested? This RP doesn't need a lot of people.

Free from humans, they know build new civilisations and stuff, although the numerous races do not get along well. As a result, they will fight and wage war against each other.

One day, the humans return to claim Earth once more. Now, the different races must try to set their differences aside and fight against the humans that desire to invade their planet.

During this fight, among the destruction and debris, the races of Earth had discovered lost technology from a time before theirs. Using this technology, they have become confident that they will be victorious, although time will tell...
