I haven't forgotten about this idea yet. I was going to make a banner and some drawings, but laziness got to me. I'll do that later.

My aim here isn't to make a crossover between canon series (although that can most certainly be done as well), but a crossover between the many roleplays of this site. So if you've had a favorite character you created in a RP from the past, you can get to use them again and expand upon them.

Still, I'm as of yet undecided as to whether or not they'll fight each other via card games or if they'll utilize the main powers of their respective RPs.

The multiverse isn't as it should be.

There are strange occurrences going on in the fabric of time and space.

Key items from universes, be they magical artifacts or advanced technological weapons, have suddenly vanished into thin air. The forces of magic are acting unpredictably, time travel no longer brings individuals to where they wish to go, and teleportation has become impossible for inexplicable reasons. Thus, the beings that would normally come to the rescue, such as the Time Lords or the Neighborhood Watch, are unable to interfere.

But most importantly, events that should've happened have been reversed and replaced with apocalyptic scenarios that had otherwise been prevented. Once a world falls into disarray, time itself starts collapsing around its universe.

The one responsible for this is an emerald-haired time sorceress called Isamy, who has begun to tamper with time and space itself in search of a 'key' - the key to the "Door of Origin". When it is opened, it is said that the one who gains access to it shall be able to overwrite the entire multiverse and shape it in their own image.

Only one man stands in her way. A Counter Guardian known only as Emiya, whose sole duty is to function as a hero to save the multiverse whenever it is threatened. However, the threat he faces is a being beyond even his power alone.

That is why he has traveled from universe to universe, saving the only individuals he's able to - people whose memories retain that of their original timelines. Bringing them into a self-contained world called "Unlimited Blade Works" so the time sorceress won't be able to find them, he has formed the Counter Corps (or "C.C."), whose main goal is to put an end to her schemes and save the multiverse before it's too late.

However, Isamy has realized this, and has thus begun collecting individuals of her own from different worlds, luring them over to her side with 'a chance to rewrite the fate of their own universe'.

Will you take up arms and become the hero that saves the world?
Or will you seize this opportunity to become the god that directs its fate?

When all of reality is at stake, who will you side with?[/spoiler]

So, what do you guys think~? :D I tried to blur the line between good and evil a little, so it's possible here for a good guy to want to change the fate of his crapsack world, and it's also possible for a bad guy to want to go save it.

Well, like you previously said, characters from previous RPs, as well as other customs, are allowed, right?

Oh yeah. There's a certain character I've been dying to recycle.

Sorry, new characters aren't allowed ^_^; it kinda defeats the purpose of gathering people from all around the multiverse if you create a character specifically for this RP, but I'm sure there are plenty of characters you can recycle from the past.

 

While I'm not too sure about mythological characters, characters like Fate/Series Servants are indeed allowed (as you can probably tell from the presence of SUPER-EMIYA).

I haven't rp'd in a very long time.  But this has peeked my interested.  I'm going to go and dig around in some very old threads and see if I can't find some old characters I've played.  I'm extremely interested.

Can you only recycle characters that you yourself have invested in whatever RP? Or can Liseotte say finds one of my characters that she likes or I find one of Kyng's that I like and we take control of them? With permission of course; can't get anywhere without that ^_^

So, I know one exists already, but when I looked at it you could ONLY be a canon character as of last week, so...

I'm currently considering a new Kingdom Hearts RP where the barriers between ALL worlds have been broken, meaning series that haven't yet appeared in the games are permitted. The main problems are:

1: There are always villains willing to exploit the access to other worlds, making life even more difficult for the heroes, and

2: The removal of the barriers is causing the fabric of the universe to deteriorate. In simple terms, the universe is going to descend into utter chaos, then self-destruct, unless some kind of balance and framework is restored.

These are just rough ideas that I'm working on, and I'm DEFINITELY going to elaborate on the plot VERY soon. It's not going to be as straightforward or black-and-white when I'm done with it.


I've roleplayed on a lot of forums, but never this one, so I'll put this out there also: my roleplays are driven by the players. I'll put enough structure to keep it alive, but ultimately you guys decide how things go. I leave freedom to work and experiment, and NEVER plan a set ending.

On a side note I have no clue why this isn't letting me put breaks between my lines -_-

Ooooh, someone who thinks like me. Depending on how good your RP skills are, I might start to like to you.

 

As for the KH idea, I've already done it in the past. It was between every series, and I remember running Uchiha Itachi xD in the end, it died, but it did inspire a different KH RP that ended up finishing.

I have, well, two ideas revolving around Transformers.

Pokeformers - Instead of vehicle modes, we have Pokemodes. Transformers that can transform into Pokemon. Of course, the plot will involve the Decepticons attempting to uncover both Pokemon world relics and Cybertronian relics alike.

Transformers Mythos - Instead of vehicles, we have mythical creatures. Both Autobots and Decepticons end up in a realm known as Gaia, a fantasy world with magic, but no technology. They take the forms of creatures that roam the lands, from slimes and elementals to dragons and pheonixes, and even humanoid beings. Both sides will gather both Cybertronian and Gaian relics alike to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

Yes, you can use other peoples' characters, but only as long as you have permission. Personally, I don't see any fun in that, using characters that you didn't pour your soul into writing about - but hey, everyone's different.

 

Also, the RP's called "The Grand Crossover RP: Pathway to Origin". I'm still preparing the OOC thread, but it's almost done~~

I like the second idea better, but it reminds me of Beast Wars a lot. If you have the Predacons and Stunticons and such as well, it can create some creativity. Also, if there were any of the known characters with the ability to combine, I'd wonder how that would turn out. I can go on, but I won't. It's a good idea, but it might require some more brainstorming.

I've also been playing around with a plot thats more action but I'm not ready to develope it yet. Basicly a group of teens die in a car accident and end up in front of the pearly gates. In short, they discover two kingdoms not mentioned in the bible and they get involved in one of the poorer but humble kingdom in defending from invasion by Hell meanwhile Heaven is trying to invade another unknown kingdom because it basically serves as a second chnce of life and Heaven see's it as a threat

a) A group of villains with borderline broken abilities took over the world, and in a last-ditch effort a group of heroes were able to transfer the villains consciousness and their own into another universe, into alternate versions of themselves. These alternate versions - the player characters - are otherwise normal people who suddenly have access to the previously mentioned borderline broken abilities, but now there's a sinister voice in the back of their heads that may be gaining power over their own psyche.
The heroes responsible for banishing the villains are also around, looking for a more permanent solution to take care of these villians, resorting to murder if need be.
