When this card is Summoned: Add 1 "Bamboo Sword" Spell card from your Deck to your hand. This card gains 400 ATK and DEF for each equip spell card on the Field. Once per turn, if a "Bamboo Sword" Spell card would be destroyed: You can discard 1 card from your hand instead.

Is it too much? And I thought of making it WIND because it feels like there are too many earth warriors, but I guess that's just me...

Edit: now that I think of that, I want to make a different cost for the non-destruction effect, any ideas?

I like the card quite a bit. It gives the bamboo sword spells a little boost for potential draw power and power too. It is good as either a WIND or EARTH, but whatever you prefer since it is your card. Good card overall man great job.

Bamboo Swords are tier 999999 so this is fine. This is probably even UP'd. I'd make the ATK 1500,still searchable by Warrior Lady of the Wasteland and Giant Rat, and change the requirement to "When this card is Summoned...". And i'd keep it EARTH for that reason.

Alternate costs could include paying lifepoints or banishing card from the graveyard. You could even mill the top cards like Naturia Beast. I still don't think it'd be broken at all.

The thing is that the destruction effect was mainly for Soul Devouring Bamboo Sword that destroys itself. and I'm afraid that it might create some kind of loops\locks and with Golden that nets you pluses it might be too much (because you prevent your opponent from drawing and at the same time have the option to have yourself gaining pluses). But I think I will change it to any form of summon and not just normal, I don't even know why I didn't do it in the first place
