That's actually really good. Makes for nice control with Grandsoil and can easily bump it up to a 3100 beater whilst being able to defend yourself with a 3k wall.

Meh, it's playable, I wouldn't call it one of your best cards, although I can't really think of a situation I'd use this in considering I could use some other cards which don't require the banishment of cards.

That's probably the most common situation, Serenade.

One thing I've noticed or haven't even, surely it becomes x2 more dangerous to play considering that not only can it be destroyed by spell destruction effects but also effect monster destruction effects? So possibly you could run this, lose 2 Earth Monsters, the Plus 200 and the Monster itself?

Or am I just being really picky and situational?

Which is why it's an optional monster C: Only a monster when you want it to be; otherwise just a Field Spell.

Besides, I'm sure people can figure out a way to abuse the banish either way. Primarily Leviair.

True, true, I suppose it could be useful if your about to be swamped by a monster during their turn and end up completely blocking it out.
