Just When You Thought Dark Worlds Had Enough Of An Upper Crust...

Recommended Posts

I read that Number 22 works well in Dark Worlds, but decided that they needed a bit more LV8 capability than boring old Grapha.

Chalkk, Nobility of Dark World
DARK/Fiend/Level 8/1200 ATK/1600 DEF
During your Main Phase, if you control a face-up "The Gates of Dark World": You can Special Summon this card (from your hand), then discard 1 card from your hand. When this monster is used as an Xyz Material for the Xyz Summon of a DARK Xyz Monster: Draw 1 card.

Pahzz-Tellhe, Socialite of Dark World
DARK/Fiend/Level 8/400 ATK/200 DEF
If this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect: If it was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, you can target 1 Banished "Dark World" monster; Special Summon this card from the Graveyard, then Special Summon the target (if any), but its effect(s) are negated.

Discuss.

So you made two cards that say Dark Worlds can summon fran-ken without having to get rid of Grapha..okay I guess.

Well the first is fine I don't know if Dark worlds would ever use it competitively but sure why not.

The second one however is well useless...its worded so that it has no effect if you discard it yourself and you have to hope your opponent makes you discard. which won't happen when your opponent sees that you running dark world to begin with.

Its effect is not the problem its Pahzz-Tellhe doesn't have any effect if you discard the card yourself.

Dark Worlds (generally) have two effects one 1 you discard it yourself and 2 if your opponent makes you discard. The second is usually a greater version of the first, but dark world make it so that you can discard the card yourself to gain advantage. Pahzz-Tellhe doesn't do that therefore he shant be used at all.
