Enrise Posted August 1, 2012 Report Share Posted August 1, 2012 Recently, it became one of my hobbies to ask for name changes from the mods along with other people because it was good harmless fun, and watching the immense butthurt of a few people getting their panties in a bunch. /joke A few hobbies of mine, although I do think that for some of them, hobbies is a bit of an understatement, are: reading, playing guitar, drawing, writing songs, sometimes learning new things (depending on what), reminiscing on the past and pondering about the future and other fantasies, admiring the sky and other aspects of nature, drinking, eating, sleeping, playing with the animals, so on.... I smoke primarily pipe tobacco and actual cigars, and like to spend my time trying out new tobaccos and I collect pipes. I also do Gymnastics (All around), Gong Fu and other various martial arts (some are stress relievers like QiGong and Hsing-i). I used to bboy but then it got boring and a lot of annoying people starting joining crews and whatever so I stopped and concentrated on Gymnastics and martial arts since it's about power, strength, endurance and flexibility. Brushfire Posted August 5, 2012 Report Share Posted August 5, 2012 It wasn't until I read this thread that I realised I actually have quite a few hobbies. I don't think any are particularly original though. I know I've missed some and I'll eventually think of them and go "oh s***, I do that all the time" but I guess these are the main ones: My main hobby is writing, and specifically screenwriting. I plan to go into that one day. Reading too. I really need to read more literature but at the moment it's just a lot of fan-fic. Well-written fan-fiction though. I also watch a lot of anime. I haven't actually watched that much recently, but I'll end up getting into it again. I watch more films that I do anime, as well as a few TV series (Lie to Me and New Girl are a couple of favourites). Listening to music / going to concerts is an important one as well. Massive football (or soccer to you Americans) fan, so I play that at least once a week for a team. I also support my local team home and away so a lot of long train/coach journeys and meeting new people. Gaming, although I play it solely for recreational purposes. Hate it when people take gaming too seriously. Drinking, got to have a good steamfest every now and then or you're doing it wrong. But I'm a drummer to, and whenever I get an opportunity, I play I really think that, in the end, my hobby is to do a little bit of everything: I draw, I write, I play ...
