Blake
http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/286839-cold-wavean-intelligent-discussion/ Topics like the above shouldn't be allowed in TCG, in my opinion. They don't add anything to the forums, just become "this card is too broken" or something else stupid like that every post, except the one member that insists on rekindling it.keeping it alive, who varies by topic. I'm not talking about cards like Tsukuyomi, Spore, or Dark Magician of Chaos where there are actual debates that happen based on if it's feasible to come back or not, but ones like Cold Wave, Crush Card Virus, or Dark Strike Fighter. Also, not directly comparing any cards here in terms of brokenness, just terms of if they can realistically come back or not. Of course, some of these topics live fine, but... the vast idiocy and uselessness of others just outweighs it completely. So, I suggest that cards that are obviously not coming back any time soon not be allowed as a topic of so-called "intelligent discussion".

Catterjune
Wait, aren't you a TCG mod?
Lol, no. What's wrong with the discussion they're having there exactly? I mean, other then the stupid asshole who quoted that guy who said "herp derp it's broken" and then wrote "/thread" there didn't seem to be all that much going on there. So then, what's the suggestion here exactly? That I should lock the topics of people I or someone else don't think should exist? That pretty much just gives me a carte blanche to do whatever the hell I want without giving people reasons or demonstrating any of the logic I may or may not have. Your suggestion is that cards that are obviously not coming back not be allowed? Who's to say that this card will never come back? If you told me back in September 2008 that Chaos Sorcerer would become unlimited (March, 2011) or BLS-Envoy would come off the list and stay off the list (september 2011) I wouldn't have believed you. tl;dr - My job, among several in TCG, is to promote intelligent conversation and discussion. So far, most people are discussing their opinions and why it is they think the way they do. Why would I want to ban that when it's exactly what I wanted them to do in the first place, regardless of what the card is?
