Hey everyone, I am back again on the Written card forum with some cool new card ideas for Monarchs. I have always really enjoyed the splashability of them in a countless number of decks but I though it would be cool giving them some support. I don't have much right now since I have recently started making these yesterday. Please give me your feedback on these cards and there will be more to come :).

Effect / Rock / Level 2 (**) / [color=#a52a2a]EARTH [/color]/ ATK: 500 / DEF: 1000
If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card cannot be tributed for a Tribute Summon except for a "Monarch" monster.

[color=#FF8C00][b][u]Rising Monarch[/u][/b][/color]
Effect / Pyro / Level 4 (****) / [color=#ff0000]FIRE [/color]/ ATK: 1800 / DEF: 1600
When this card is Normal Summoned: you can add 1 "Monarch" monster from your Deck to your hand except "Rising Monarch".

[b][u][color=#ff8c00]Decimus the Destruction Monarch[/color][/u][/b]
Effect / Divine-Beast / Level 11 (************) / [color=#daa520]DIVINE [/color]/ ATK: 3200 / DEF: 1800
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card can only be Normal Summoned (not Set) by tributing 3 Level 5 or higher "Monarch" monsters you control. The turn this card is Summoned, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. When this card is Tribute Summoned: Target any number of cards on the field equal to the number of "Monarch" monsters in your Graveyard; banish all targets. Then, after your second Standby Phase when this effect was activated, return all banished cards by this card's effect to their respective players' Decks.[/spoiler][spoiler=Traps][b][u][color=#800080]Fight to the Death[/color][/u][/b]
Normal Trap
Activate only when the only monsters you control are level 6 or higher "Monarch" monsters. "Monarch" monsters you control cannot be destroyed as a result of battle until the End Phase.[/spoiler]

Ok I will fix those problems. Any comments on the boss monarch and the trap card?

Added a cost for Messenger and removed Rising's Special Summoning effect.

[color=#ff8c00][b][u]Messenger of the Monarch[/u][/b][/color] - I think it was okay how it was. There's already cards that Special Summon themselves from the hand for free, and they don't usually have restrictions.

[color=#FF8C00][b][u]Rising Monarch[/u][/b][/color] - At least this was toned down, but it might be a bit too powerful, considering it can not only search for the big Monarchs, but itself... Either one of those is a powerful effect, really.

[b][u][color=#ff8c00]Decimus the Destruction Monarch[/color][/u][/b] - This also seems fine to me, due to all of its restrictions.

[b][u][color=#800080]Fight to the Death[/color][/u][/b] - Extremely weak card. There's already cards that do the same thing and don't require a specific monster to be on the field.

Very true. I forgot about that. Thank you for pointing that out.
I fixed Rising's effect to allow it not to add itself and Messenger has its original effect back (no cost for Summon).

Oh...lets bump this.
