Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, I had a deck concept and decided to build upon it, though I'm not sure exactly where to go with it. There's a lot of cards I want to put it, a few that I think I should take out, but I figured "what better way to decide what to do than get help?". So here it is. Monsters - 19 [3]Flamvell Firedog [3]Flamvell Magician [3]Jurrac Guaiba [2]Jurrac Aeolo [2]TGU [2]Ryko [1]Thunder King Rai-Oh [1]Hedgehog [1]Sangan [1]Jurrac Velo Spells - 12 [3]MST [2]Rekindling [1]Duality [1]Fossil Dig [1]Book of Moon [1]Reborn [1]Dark Hole [1]Heavy [1]Foolish Burial Traps - 9 [2]Bottomless Trap Hole [2]Torrential Tribute [2]Solemn Warning [1]Solemn Judgment [1]Starlight Road [1]Flamvell Counter Extra - 15 [1]Catastor [1]Hyper Librarian [1]Brionac [1]Flamvell Ancient Deity [1]Black Rose Dragon [2]Stardust Dragon [1]Scrap Dragon [1]Zenmaines [1]Leviair [2]Evolzar Laggia [1]Evolzar Dolkka [1]Lavalval Chain [1]Black Corn (Replace for a level 8 Synchro?) Cards I'm looking at: Effect Veiler Doomcaliber Knight Burden of the Mighty? Compulsory The deck concept on this is nice, but it doesn't currently look like the execution would go over very well. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I appreciate you taking the time to look over my deck. Chow Len was kind of a random choice, since really the only reason I built the deck was because I wanted to use Flamvell Counter, and realized that Aeolo can be Summoned by Firedog and Rekindling (Well, I already knew that, but it reminded me). I do realize that Counter is a bit odd, but for the pure sake of being an A-hole I think I will try testing it with 1 still in the deck. Fiendish was just a random choice as well, and I'm more than okay with getting rid of it. I also want to try out Starlight, since I plan on using at least 2 Stardust Dragon anyways. Though it will remain to be seen if it has any use. As far as the ED goes, Slasher didn't seem like a good idea anyways, but I just wanted options if I get stuck with Aeolo on the field and nothing to play it with. However, you added in TGU and Sangan, but I have no targets as far as Exceeds go, and what else would I use its effect for? I also want to keep Roach in the Extra Deck, but Ouroboros can go. Hopefully you can help me understand the reasoning for my questioned changes better.
.Rai
Starlight's not really that useful. You're not running that many traps, and neither should you be over-extending. Flamvell Counter already covers what Starlight does if you're going to run one. To be honest, Dark Bribe is kinda better than Flamvell Counter anyway for the sheer reason that Flamvells like their graveyard fodder. Far too much to remove stuff in it. Forgot that you should have added Xyzs for TGU. If you want to run Roach, side it. It's useless outside of against Dragons. In that case, added to my changes last time: -1 Utopia -1 Black Corn +1 Leviair +1 Zenmaines nom.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Hmm... Well, as much as I don't like the idea of using Tour Guide in any of my decks, Leviair would help, and in that case Counter wouldn't be as much of a detriment. I'll get around to testing this deck out soon enough, then I'll be able to tell what works and what doesn't better.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I tested the currently listed build, and it did pretty good, though against Dino Rabbit it only did okay (I ended up losing, but that's due to making a judgment error). I had an Inzektor ragequit on me, so at least there's that. Against casual decks it's been doing pretty good, winning most of them. Sometimes I end up drawing into nothing to combo off of, but when the deck goes off it really explodes. I have been having trouble getting good targets to attack with my recruiters, but they work every now and again. Finally, I have yet to actually use Leviair. Usually I've been getting TGU early in games, and Zenmaines is the best drop in that case obviously. I might need to work the deck around to get in Levi Dragon, or something. Oh yeah, and I also really want another level 6 target, but at the same time the Extra Deck is so crowded.
