What does this do better than Hero Beat, other than Leviair?

Wanted to include BLS, and Leviar seems like a way of making the deck faster after using Miracle.

BLS, a better plussing engine, one card Xyz, and an Xyz toolbox that better handles problems that Hero Beat couldn't normally handle and TGU gives access to all 6 attributes by itself so Super Poly and crappy monsters to get Absolute Zero, Nova Master, and friends aren't needed.

@Akira
As you may have guessed I don't feel that Chevalier or Ocean are needed. You have better Fire and Water monsters living in your extra deck. Chevalier is used as either for its attribute, which I don't believe you need, or for additional Spark targets, which I also don't believe you need. 3 Sparks and 3 Alius should be enough with The Shining, Stratos, and RotA-esque things. If you still find you have too many dead Sparks you should just drop a spark. EH Ocean, while a cool plussing engine, isn't going to stay around very long to be any good - especially with the minimal backrow you're running.

Honest doesn't seem particularly necessary either. The is so big the Honest will just put you in a win more situation, Rai-Oh will either be taken out by removal effects or you'll be tributing him off, and Alius has Spark as additional protection and is usually better off in the grave. I don't mean that it must be taken out as it has it own merits - chaos fodder and fun Leviair shenanigans - but something else might fill that spot better.

As for actual suggestions: Forbidden Lance is cool since it protects The Shining from Soul Takers, D-Prisons and BTHs. I feel it's worth maining. MST is often seen in TGU builds to make sure your Tour Guide plays go off. I've never found it to be useful here but I'm not sure if you've thought about using it. Main a playset of either D-Prison or Compulsory for a better Chaos Dragon or Inzector match-up respectively and side for the other.

For the Extra:
-1 EH The Shining
-1 EH Absolute Zero
-2 EH Great Tornado
-1 Utopia

+1 Number 30: Acid Golem
+1 Temtempo the Percussion Djinn
+1 Blade Armor Ninja/ Heroic Champion Excalibur
+1 Photon Papillioperative/ Number 50: Black Corn
+1 Steelswarm Roach/ Maestroke the Symphony Djinn

I can explain all of the choices if you find any of them peculiar but this post is getter rather long.

Good advice? On my ycm?

I might main some Compulsories based on your advice - last locals I went to, the top 8 was me and 7 Inzektor decks... I agree that Ocean isn't really needed since Leviathan is water, and Chevalier... well, I've just had Nova Master sitting in my binder for bloody ages and I really want to summon him some (solid reasoning ne?). MSTs were in there originally but took them out due to space, however they can probably go back in after stripping out what the deck doesn't really need. I want to keep Honest but I'll make the decision after taking this for a spin. If anything, I can play it aggressively too which can always come in handy.

I didn't even know about most of those XYZs you suggested, I've been out of the game for so long. I'll grab what I can for IRL (of course that rules out Escuriado but he's a bit lame anyway) but I'm mostly making do with what I've got. I was lucky enough to have enough decent stuff to trade for a set of Guides and Leviair. Gotta keep 1 Great Tornado though, for Stratos!
