Bahamut Shark, combos?.... yes i realize this is an OCG card

Leviathan would be 2000 monster that can't atk directly and aero shark would be 1900 that can atk anytime. I don't think anyone would summon zenmaighty with this as it would be useless and no one would summon golem unless u have creature swap. Aero shark or Leviathan with this guy? Should he be ran at all? Will people answer these QUESTiONS?[/background][/font][/size][/left]

Pretty bad when compared to Pearl as a general 2600 beatstick.

I'd say that in a Creature Swap based deck, you should include this on the off chance you want to lock down your opponent with a dead Acid Golem, provided you play the monsters required to make this.

I can't see this card gaining too much advantage in pure WATER themed decks via its effect. I don't see when you'd be at a point where you would rather make this over another card that can pro-actively be doing something as opposed to building up your field with small beat-sticks. I'd more often then not just want to be attacking for the 2600.

Now if they turtle up, you would before make another Rank 4 (Papilloperative, Gear Gigant, or Maestroke) or you could search for Gearframe and bring out a Fortress.[/size][/color]

This new Xyz monster which requires 0 deck dedication makes it so that if you have a creature swap, you can make a Bahamut (while you still have that gadget) and swap the Golem for their facedown (probably neutralizing it like a Ryko or Sangan or some s***).[/size][/color]

This puts your opponent on a 4 turn clock and they have to waste resources to blow it up while dealing with the burn. At the same time, you can stall and build up your own field with Gadgets, search for Offerings, or make Fortresses until they've either killed it, its killed them, or you've built up a big enough field to OTK through it.[/size][/color]

The problem with this card is that if you get Acid Golem out, most decks have some form of removal whether it be Torrential Tribute, Dark Hole, Tributing it for something, or just blowing that s*** up with a Hornet.[/size][/color]

Shark Carrier isn't worth running just so this can summon it, imo. At the time being, you're better off allotting the space the two use to other things.

Honestly bahamut is poorly designed because of the design restriction it puts on future r 3 and lower water xyz.

EDIT: pulling a 1900 beater out of nowhere is by no means undwhelming if you can protect the two and follow through aggressively with both monster's attacks the turn after, cornering the opponent early. However, most water decks have difficulty making r4 and when you can, you're probably better off making a more support oriented monster.

I run this in my Mermail deck and usually get him + aero shark first turn. (Considering it's not inzektors deck) He survived on my field for a pretty long time (aero shark too). I like it and willing to give the space, but i just wish they had better water xyz (did anyone see that new gagagigo)

Yes i realize my opponent was using newby cards (it might look like he's using D.D. or macro monarch, but it was just a mish mash of cards) and had a 60 card deck, but it was still kewl......... Anyone else have a Bahamut related achivement?

Weeelllll, the only real way to combo off Bahamut Shark, from experience, is to Overlay using an Atlantean Seahorsemen + some other Level 4 WATER monster. Use Bahamut's effect, grab Aero Shark, trigger the effect of Seahorsemen and grab a Moulin Glace. Suddenly, once both Monsters are gone, you've got a grand total of 4 different WATER monsters in the graveyard, which is just one off from actually summoning Moulin Glace, and further screwing with your opponent if they haven't already wasted a Dark Hole/some-other-form-of-removal (barring Inzektor from this).

So, yeah, that.

That sound like fun, but situational and hard to pull + Moulin Glace isn't that great.... You know Bahamut IS a beater right.. that swarms field with other beaters...why not just "beat" the opponent..cuz it's a beater...that beats...

[/quote]Konami is done pushing WATER. That was only because of Abyss Rising. Just like they were "pushing EARTH" in Return of the Duelist.

As far as what's not to love... does Fiendish Chain ring a bell?

[/quote]And Abyss Rising is already out in Japan. That means that they're done printing cards for it. SINCE THEY RELEASED IT ALREADY.

Meaning they're on to the next set, which will probably make them "push" FIRE.

I know that they're out in Japan, you implied that Ret the DUel was after Abyss and i found that to be odd o.0 Anyways, yeh they could be pushing each Attribute (PLZ NO LIGHT AND DARK, PLEASE!)

Why would I summon this instead of keeping the 2 monsters? Well, because I would get those monsters mostly with Coelacanth, who negates the effects of those monsters and they cannot attack.
This can be useful if you want to have all those Xyz related cards, like Xyz Territory, Xyz Unit or Overlay Regenerate.
